Sound quality

Hello!
I was wondering if someone could help. I know there are a lot of topics on the sound, but I can't seem to find the solution. I added sounds to my film using a microphone. When I play it back in preview mode quality is absolutely perfect. However, once I published it the sound quality is considerably reduced. It sounds very grainy and unclear. I am using captivate 1. Would this improve if I were to record the sound in the studio of professional recording and then import it or he would not make a difference?

Any advice is welcome! Thanks, Rachel

Hi Rachel

You can click movie > preferences... > Preferences tab and try to adjust the Audio quality to setting the lower of "average quality (quality of AM radio).»

I know it sounds weird, but him give a try. If I remember correctly, it's a quirk of Captivate 1. The highest quality and lowest quality settings for the audio have been reversed.

Just give it a go and see if it helps. I hope it will be.

Cheers and happy Friday! Rick

After updating my iPhone 6 to 10.0.2 has changed the sound quality of the voice of the people at the other end. It does not resemble a normal call. He has the kind of internet "voice over" quality to it. Is there a setting that may have been changed inadvertently made calls sound like that? It seems not horrible, but it's weird!

There is nothing in the iOS 10.0.2 update that change any settings on the voice quality, nor is there yet a setting to change.

Try to reset the phone, or if it does not, try a restore.

  • Update for IOS 10 sound quality is mediocre with headphones

    Hello

I just want to see if other people have noticed that since updating to the new iOS on my iPhone 6 s 10 more my sound quality while listening to music via apple earpods was really the food but now its like im using earphones shop book and listening to an old cassette player - so low can hear barely im not impressed.

I feel the same way. I use a Bluetooth headset and I notice, too, that the sound quality has gone downhill.

  • Bad sound quality

I've been using Apple music on Android since last year and I also tested all the main services continuously looking for the one that fits for me. Here are my comments.

    Positive:

    1. the interface is pretty good
    2. playback of gapless albums works very well for me, a lot of competitors have problems with it, and it was important for me
3 integration of own files works fine on my Xperia Z5, I had problems with this on Z1 Compact

    Negative:

Sound quality. It is bad or even terrible, depending on the type of music. I don't think it's a matter of encoding. I think that Apple music flows in 256 kbps AAC (is this correct?), competitor g. MP3 320 kbps and 320 kbps OGG competitor s., I think. Thus, the difference in practice should be negligible, I think. But there is a huge difference in the listening experience.

I use a Sony Z5 and headphones MDR-1ABT, which is quite a decent facility, and I love the sound of the G or S. The look is fantastic, bass is large and acute lovely, dynamic range is excellent. If I activate it Department HX from Sony on the phone that there is even better, it makes you go "wow". Everything just fantastic.

Listening to the music of Apple experience is just the opposite. It looks like little in 1990s FM radio, the sound is extremely stable compared to G or S., the bass is very low, not sharp, flat. The application does not meet the parameters of its Android, there is therefore no equalizer and no HX Department. I can't listen to music of Apple for more than 15-20 minutes, when we know the sound quality of G or S, it's just not nice.

Competitor T has the same question or 'feature' - the sound of Android settings are not respected by the app.

So my question is, are there plans to fix it in the next release or 1.0, or should I rather build my playlists elsewhere? It will respect the sound of Android settings, like Equalizer / Clear Audio / Department HX? I like Apple interface and feel better and prefer to continue my subscription to Apple's music, but I can't stand the sound flat...

    See you soon

  • iPhone SE and deaf sound quality (on the receivers end)

Someone knows the issues of poor sound quality with their new iphone OS on the receivers end? The sound is fine on my end, but the sound quality is horrible for people who I call. I don't have a case in this regard, there is nothing blocking the microphones and I've already tried a hard cock down. I also Bluetooth crunchy but this problem does not seem to be mentioned on these forums, so my thoughts are that it is not related with? I never had problems with my iphone until that.  Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

  • Satellite NB10T-A-102 - horrible sound quality

    Hello

I bought a NB10T-A-102, but the sound is horrible almost not not tuned because that sounds like metal noise.
I tried to change driver but without advantage.
Do you know if it's because of the speakers of material or if there is a configuration that allows to obtain a good sound quality?

    Thank you for your support.

    Hello

This netbook has construction in small stereo speakers, and the sound is not very good. It has nothing to do with the audio driver. As you know you can try to change the sound quality by changing the values in the player s equalizer, but this will not help too much.

I have some similar speakers on my U940, and the good is not good. With the help of his headset is really good.
For example my old NB netbook has harman/kardon speakers and the sound quality is just amazing.

Everyone had the same problem, or maybe there's a sollution for this?

    Hello

To me that sounds like this, out on the port replicator doesn t port works properly if connect you directly to the computer laptop, everything works correctly, or can you notice any problems?

    Have you tested other speakers?

In this case I would recommend updating the sound card drivers and BIOS. The two you can download on the Toshiba site.

  • HP Envy 15 t (G0T59AV): HP Envy laptop speaker poor sound quality (particularly acute) as the volume increases.

I had been without my HP Envy laptop a few weeks after he bricked on me and I had to send in for repair, and when I came back the sound quality seems to be noticeably worse than what I remember. The sound in general seems a little intestine initially, and it does not handle certain tones fine treble, producing shrill notes that almost seem like they're clipping or something, as if it's too much for the speaker to manage. The volume level refers to it - it's much worse at higher volumes, but its volumes, it should be able to manage, and has dealt in the past. 30 is basically normal, I'll hear parts of it start happening about 40 volume or so, 60 sounds evil, and 80 is almost inaudible.

My first suspect is the dustbin of Beats Audio with what they sent this thing.  He gave me problems before. I fiddled with the Beats Audio settings for a bit and couldn't find a lot of luck. The strange thing is, I searched Beats Audio driver updates, and I came to the top completely empty. All links to them were either broken, be directed to the page of HP support containing the drivers for the specific device model questioned. The driver for my laptop page shows nothing about the drivers of beats. And my device manager doesn't seem to show that no driver present Beats, either, even though I SWEAR there drivers for them in the past. The only present audio device is the Realtek HD Audio driver. The Beats Audio utility in the taskbar does not seem to think there is something wrong, however, so I don't know what's the case. Can someone help me?

(I know of no reason that the question I sent my laptop in for repair would be linked to this, nor do I have any reason to believe that the person who repaired the laptop could have done anything, as all my files on my HDD seem to have been completely intact, but just for the sake of rigour : A couple of weeks, apparently caused by me accidentally stick a 3.5 mm headphone jack into the adjacent USB and damaged brick my laptop. The computer, stop immediately, if she was able to start right back up. The next morning, it was completely insensitive and would not start until it was. I knew with certainty that it is the USB at the time, I thought that it was unlikely that a damaged USB port might cause a full brick computer, but when I got back from repair, the repair summary said that the only thing to do for she was replacing a USB port.  Other than the good question, my computer was working perfectly since.)

    1. right click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your time.
    2. click on playback devices.
    3. click on the speakers.
    4. click on properties.
    5. click on the Advanced tab in the Properties window.
    6. change the default menu Format in the highest quality.
    7. apply properties.
    8. click OK to close the Properties window. Reboot the laptop and test the sound.

You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

  • bad sound quality in the desktop version but not in the modern windows application

I have a brand new Microsft Surface Pro 3 with all the updates that are installed and the latest version of Skype.

When I use the modern windows application, the sound quality is very good.

When I use the desktop app, it looks like wind. The poor sound is experienced by myself and the recipient and also when I echo test call.

I uninstalled the windows application modern to have installed both causes a conflict.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app without result.

It is not the mouse or the speaker settings on my surface, because it works perfectly well when you use the modern windows application.

    any suggestions?

I have now solved the problem by removing the MCO.

For all those affected by the poor audio quality in Skype desktop client, please go to:

Tools > Options > Audio Settings, then uncheck "Automatically adjust microphone settings" and "automatically adjusts the speaker settings.

  • Satellite C660-1 p 3 - poor sound quality

    Hello.

I bought this phone today and I'm so confused.
    The sound quality is MEDIUM-low.

No bass, no color just a little of his dish.
Even a simple cell phone got its best, then my laptop doesn't.

Where is the so-called "Toshiba Bass enhanced system"?

Can someone help me? I tried to figure this out for a few hours and I have nothing.
I have re-installed drivers etc and still nothing.

Advice or tips would be appreciated.

    Help!
    Thanks in advance!

I agree with Akuma. You should not expect too much. The C series is not a multimedia notebook that would be more costly.
I recommend using external speakers, I also use external speakers it s good option to get better sound quality!

  • Satellite P105-S6024 and terrible sound quality

The sound quality on this laptop was very bad for some time.

I tried all of the updates and drivers more recent download from Toshiba Web site without success, including latest conexant driver, which seems to be 2007. . . . I use XP/SP3. For a system that is supposed to have good sound quality, with harmon kardon speakers, it's frustrating because it is inaudible. The cracks of sounds, pop, is intermittent, is static and just is generally quite poor.

There is not a problem with the volume, just the terrible sound quality any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hello

I see you are using the Windows XP which was not preinstalled by Toshiba.
I think that this laptop came with the Windows Vista operating system.

Have you noticed the same sound quality by using the Windows Vista operating system?
I think you should check this.

If the noise would do better to use the Vista then it might be a problem of sound driver.
I found another audio driver Conexant for Win XP. I use this one:

  • Satellite L40: low sound quality

    Hello

I have the problem with the sound quality in L40.
Some at the level of the volume of some movies divix is good but in a bit of sound is very low. Likely it has connected with setting the sound card and when I play the movie with surround codec, the sound is very low, but when I play movie in stereo codec, sound is loud and clear.

Where can I change the audio settings and make sure that movies with sound wil surround play in stereo?

PS. Sorry for my writing, I know is terrible ;-)

    Hi Darckar

Satellite L40 unknown for me, but all the settings of the sound that you can find in Control Panel under sounds and Audio devices. Check all parameters, in particular under the Audio tab > audio > Advanced Audio properties.

I don't know if this will help, but you can check in any case.

  • Equium A110-233 bad sound quality

Hi all, please can someone help,

I recently bought a satellite A110-233 and the sound quality is terrible (I am aware that there is a conrtol of volume on the front of the laptop until someone asks ;-))

I played around with all the settings including the Tru-Surround options and via the internal speaker volume level is very low, even though unfortunately this isn't my main concern. The main reason I bought the laptop was to use as the source for the reading of the media through my Hi-Fi and TV channel. When I connect to my stereo using a socket type of headphone 3.5 mm headphone output on decision-making for the twin RCA inputs on my system audio is absolutely appalling. The volume is very low and there is no depth to the sound and absolutely NOT that it's low.

I tried to play the same files on the other half cell and the output is absolutely fine.

I tried to download a new copy of the audio driver and install that. I also tried a full format of the laptop and reinstall windows from zero (not from the appropriate disk recovery, but since the windows CD), still no joy.

Please please can someone help me because I can't use my system for what I bought it for!

    Thank you all

    Hello

Hmmm, I'm not an owner Equium A110 and so I can't give you a professional opinion on this problem.
For me it is not easy to tell if it is a hardware/software problem, or if it is simply a sound quality.

In any case... I noticed several discussions here in the forum about bass on laptops Satellite A100 and a person has provided a solution.

According to several messages try to delete or to rename the files RTHDAEQ0. DAT and RTHDAEQ1. DAT.
You should find these files in the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\ folder

But it is a solution of A100 series and I don't know if it helps on an A110.
However, test it and please report results... It is interesting to me

  • Issue of satellite A300 - 15G Conexant - improved sound quality Audio

    Hello

After that I got my HP Vista to Windows XP, I came across a very strange thing. There is no problem with drivers because they could be easily found on the TOSHIBA web site. After you have installed all the drivers, I mentioned that the overall sound quality is worse.

When I started studying the issue, I came across an anomaly. When you open a file in Winamp and, without closing it, open a movie in Windows Media or any other video player, the sound improves a lot.

The same phenomenon occurs with the modem. When you start the connection, or to be more precise, when the President of the modem lights... Here, the sound is still improving. I tried many things... like downloading the drivers of different sites and different versions and re - install.

But nothing helped. There is no problems with Vista so I guess, it's a software problem. I googled a bit and found some more people who have the same thing.

I hope someone can help me because of the use of the Harman\Kardon pregnant if they do not produce sound?...
