Spacing between the words of the Variables in the header

I have spent a lot of time on this and tried everything that I can think of, and I was unable to find a similar thread on this forum. Now, I gave up and come here for some advice.

The model I use is implemented with A4, duplex (1st right) paper size, margins are up and down 2.54 cm, inside/outside 3.17/1.9cm. My headers and footers are system and user and mirror image variables. Headers are set up with M/F 1 performance and running H/F 2 below to the left of the left page, to the right of the right page, I have a user with M/F 2 below performance variable, the logo of the company is opposed in both cases. The feet have placed at left, Center and right user variables.

All these variables work very well except for the user variable and M/F 2 running on the right page. On the body and the page page master extra spacing appears between terms.

Thank you for any assistance.

Kerrie

Kerrie, the specific version of FM and what platform do you use (help > about, including "pxxx" numbers)?

This extra space appears when you create a PDF or printing, or did when seen on the screen? If it's only on the screen then the extra space is probably caused by a parameter in the maker.ini that need to be activated. The setting can be found in the [Fonts] section and in FM9 is activated automatically, but in earlier versions, there must be added or enabled.

The setting is "DisplayUsingPrinterMetrics = we '-when it is turned off, or it is not specified at all, FM and then on the display screen has often strange spacing.

  • The spacing between the contacts in the contact list and the current list.

    Hello

My Skype updated this morning and it looks that the spacing between the contacts has been increased and as the spacing between the history of cats in the chat window.

  • Main Navigation menu: need a uniform spacing between the names of home page

I am new to Adobe Muse and design my own Web site. I watched the tutorials and have implemented the master page, the main pages and subpages. In the master page, then I added navigation to the top of the menu on the page (in the header) using the Widgets Library > menus > Horizontal, then got all the fonts, drop downs etc as I wanted. The question I have, is that, in the main navigation menu, I have hand some page names that are long (projects) and others who are short (home) and want to have a uniform spacing between home page names. I need to be able to adjust the blocks of text individually and we have tried clicking on the text block > menu Options and click on "Edit all" box, but it always adjusts the width of ALL menu text blocks - not adjusts the width of the individual blocks of text without solving all. I have the size of the element the unique value "size"; When I chage it to a uniform spacing, it no longer gives justify me the choice of the left hand for the menu text, and I need the text left justified menu. Is there an easy fix for this? Thank you.

Double click several times until the label for a menu item is selected. Go to the control panel of spacing. Click on the channel icon to unlock the four values (so they can be changed independently). Increase the value of fill right.

If you make a menu with uniform spacing, you can get the Visual effect you're looking for with left text aligned and equal to the spacing between the text in the menu items.

  • align palette: possible to equal spacing between the edges of the stroke not only fill edges.

right now align palette, you can choose an equal spacing between the edges of fills, as shows of lower rank, the top row shows the alignment and spacing is possible between the paths of shots, not their outer edge. So I hope that we can also apply an equal spacing between the outside edges of the strokes, without having to convert them into fillings for CS6

You can do it now. GoTo preferences/general/and check "use Preview Bounds ' and try again.

  • How place of content between the header and tabs?

I have the header part which must be constant through the portal but below that I have 3 links
as I AM an employee, employer, broker...

which showed that in the homepage above the tabs...
    How can I do this...

How place of content between the header and tabs...: () kindly help...

    Hey djo
Try these approaches and see if it works.

    1. in the header Section, page footer you shell header and add a Portlet header. This JSP file associated header Portlet will be all static content in the upper part. In the lower part, add these 3 links say right. Show these links only based on certain properties of the query as isHome. Now for the main book House and another page associate a BackingFile. In this backup file in the lifecycle methods preRender or handlePostBack, get BookManager instance and all pages and see which page is active. For this page, see its page definition label which will be always unique. IF the page def label is like home_page_def (it is the wording of the page def you give to the homepage), then set the value of the key in the request as isHome = true property. The only doubt is after book backingfile is triggered, the header needs to be reloaded, because only then can he pick up the attributes of the request.

    2. create a new portlet as HomePageLinks portlet. Its title property is not Visible and other properties of the UI as NoBorder, etc. NoTheme. The associated JSP will be the 3 links you mentioned fixed right. You can use css styles to make it right. Now dropping this portlet in the header Shell box. You have already HeaderPortlet in the upper part, lower than that, you will have this portlet HomePageLinks. Now associate a backup file for this Portlet show, only if the current active page of books is the home page comparing the label def etc. as mentioned above.

In both scenarios, only concern is when clicked on different Pages, the entire portal is to be made directly from the header at the top. Only then the backup file will be set the key and the portlet HomePageLinks can show or hide as a result.

Try to raise an event when the user clicks on the homepage. This port listening for that event can be HomePageLinks Portlet. I guess the event mechanism should work regardless of where the portlet is placed. In the event listner, see if you can show/hide this portlet.

The only challenge is reloaded must section header whenever you click on a tab.

Start putting a few files of backup and System.out.printlns to see if the header section gets recharged on, click on the tabs.

These are just my thoughts on the top of my head. Other users of the forum may have better alternatives or a different version of the above approaches.

    Thank you

  • Remove the spacing between the buttons of Menu Widget - Muse CC 2015

    Hello

I seem to have found a slight problem with deletion of the spacing or gutters between the buttons of menu widget.
I add a widget menu at design time either horizontal or a vertical menu.
Remove the border of each button and then I'm going to change the gutters to put the buttons close together so that there is no space between them, but the parameters and the values of gutter do not allow me.

    menu-button-guttering.jpg

For some reason any gutter V is always grayed out and cannot be changed and the gutter H is set to zero, but there is still a gap between the buttons horizontally

Is there a way to remove Vertical and Horizontal gutter now?

Right then I was told that I'm going about this all wrong.

What I do is not use the menu button and try to change the values of the gutter, but instead, I have to select the menu it self and then change the values of the gutter.
I think it's the same for the kids meals don't click the button but select the menu rather than change the gutter to zero values.

  • Need to reduce the spacing between the text and notes

I'm a style guide (self-taught librarian InDesign beginner!) editing and need to lesson the space between the end of the line of text and the note (if I can get everything on a single page.) I use a textbox with the comparator service. I know that one of the Options reference should do, but when I change the options of first reference offset it messes up the leader of the references as well (which should appear only spaced.) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!footnote_options.pngCMS_Sample.png

Try to check the option «Place end of history notes...» "under investment Options and adjust 'Minimum space before first note' under Spacing Options.

  • Adjust the spacing between the characters?

Hello! I use Photoshop Elements 8 and I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the spacing between characters in a text?

Very limited. Go to the preferences of the editor > text and activate the options display Asian text. Then enter your text and click here, then go to the drop without a label at the bottom of the list:

It comes to tsume, which adjusts the space around a character, not only the kerning between letters.
