  • Having trouble finding the Java certification path pattern I've seen before

I searched for several minutes in the field of Oracle certification for a diagram I've seen before. This is a diagram that represents most (if not all) of the Java certifications in a pile of the CERT starting upwards through the advances and the paths to go from the first to the last.

Can someone refer me to the exact link where is this diagram? I saw him in the past, but I can't find it now...

This scheme is not updated to new Java certifications and is no longer available. As mentioned above, you can view a list of the Java Certifications available on our Web site. Let us know if you have specific certification questions Java.

  • Management errors in ODI

    Hello

Can you please guide me to the error handling and logging in ODI framework? Is there a table which records the errors before the action of CKM?
Also, we have a requirement that if on the filling of the records in the target table, any constraint fails, none of the folders must be inserted in the table. What is the best possible approach to achieve this?

    Thank you

    Hi Ritika,

These are specific mistakes ODI which will record your work rest tables. If it is a driver related then not.

CKM will take care of your data errors ONLY.

Yes, you can set the error threshold value,

I'm new to the world of ODI. I recently started working on it.

I have Oracle 10.2.0.1 bones the db and ODI 10.1.2.5.

    They are compatible.

ODI and Oracle DB should have a version compatibility is the commbination I use the right one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Alicia,.

Welcome to the world of ODI. :)

ODI is compatible with any version of Oracle DB from 9i to 11 g. Take a look at the certification ODI info in the link below more accurately 'ODI Source target Technologies' worksheet.

  • Oracle certification: Developer Track

    Hi all

I finished the developer of forms of OCP (1ZO - 007, 1ZO-147 & 1ZO - 141) exams. I doubt if there is any different specific examinations for the developer of forms OCP 10 g? If so, pls let me know the codes review too...

    Expecting an immediate response...

    Thanks in advance...

There is no specific certification for Oracle Forms Developer 10 g Certified Professional. Oracle Forms Developer Certified Professional (OCP) is for professionals with skills of developer using Oracle9i and Oracle Forms Developer 10 g forms developer. However, you can write '1Z0-0146, Oracle PL/SQL Developer' examination for the certification of "Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional.

In truth I am bovvered? ... Well not really (although I'm concerned because I am the owner of the said ACTIVE certification).  The thing is more outdated than an old ram my uncle once sold... a real old firecracker.  However, the principle of the thing is a little interest...

I almost added a question about this certification to your original on recert requirements thread.  Then I saw the following note in the page 'requirements and process ':

    https://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=768

"You can keep all your types of database credentials (associate, professional, Expert and Master) in State ASSETS by winning a single credential OCA, OCP or CMO in the CURRENT version of Oracle Database certification."

Based on this statement, you take a certification or 11g OCA/OCP/CMO 12 c will prevent any expert version-specific certifications being expired.

It is worth noting that the reverse is not true, taking a current CEO of certification does * not * prevent anything either, but an earlier version of this same certification expires.  Really means a lot right now because he communicated there very little specific expert certificates (RAC, performance and Tuning SQL optimization are the only 11g those for example), but it's something to know.

  • VCDX - cloud

According to the information given on this site Certification VMware: Cloud

As the VCAP-CIA and CID VCAP certification exams have been removed and are no longer available, the VCAP certifications are no longer required for this specific certification.

So after can completing certification VCP-cloud (VCP550) I directly ask VCDX-Cloud?

    Expert advice please.

YYes is correct and this is a temporary situation through the defenses of October and on VCDX5 only. After October during the liberation of VCDX6 and for 2016 based solely on defenses 6 version will be available and this waiver will no longer exist and VCIX will still be necessary. It's only for a limited time, it is not permanent.

  • 1z0 - 052 or 1Z0-147

    I'm lost between the 1z0-147 and 1z0 - 052.
I've been a sql developer before... but I don't have a lot of experience, so I decided to go back and work in databases. I have now taken the 1z0-007, and the next step is one of the two mentioned above.

That it would be better to boost my career?
that one is easier to start?
    Thank you guys

Would it not prudent to tell that I can go for the 1z0-052, even if I don't have a lot of experience in PL/sql programming?

Not really sure what you mean to ask. 1Z0-052 is DBA certification, 1Z0-144 is the PL/SQL certification:

    * 1Z0-052: Oracle Database 11g: Administration I *.
    * 1Z0-144: Oracle Database 11g: program with PL / SQL *.

That said, when you enter the field, the point of studying for a certification is not because you already know what is being tested. The point is to use them to increase what you know on the issues addressed in the review. A DBA or an experienced developer can take specifically certifications as a way to validate for themselves, or their employers, they know the information. However, your post, an indication that you have given is that you don't have the knowledge to pass a test right now. Regardless of the path you choose, you will need to learn. That being the case, you need to decide which way you prefer - a personal desire to be a DBA vs a developer or from the point of view that you feel be in demand in your geographic area.

Anyone with the ability to study and retain information can pass an exam. Any person who does not have the ability to study and retain information should not be in this area. There are areas where these capabilities are not necessary. Anyone can say "you want fries with that?

  • How to filter the list of digital certificates for signing PDF

Is it possible to change the configuration of the installation of the reader to filter the list of installed certificates that can be used to digitally sign documents?

The filtered list is displayed when users try to select a certificate to digitally sign a document.

    Thank you.

    Hi Carla,.

Unfortunately, Extended Key use is not one of the properties that you can apply.

The things that you can set are:

    • appearanceFilter (i.e. to force the use of a custom signature appearance)
    • certspec (that is, the signing certificate must meet certain specific criteria)<----- this="" is="" what="" you="" are="" more="" interested="" in,="" more="">
    • digestMethod (i.e. to force the use of a specific cryptographic hash algorithm)
    • filter (i.e. to force the use of a specific security manager if you want to use something other than the one integrated in Acrobat)
    • legalAttestations (i.e. apply the motive or object of certification of signature)
    • Lockdocument (i.e. apply other changes to the document, after the signature is appended)
    • CDM (i.e. the rules for changing the document applied as part of a certification signature)
    • reasons (i.e. a list of one or more patterns signatory may use, in contrast to adding their own)
    • shouldAddRevInfo (i.e. to force the inclusion on the revocation (CRL or OCSP response) information in the PDF file)
    • subfilter (i.e. to require the use of a specific signature format. It's very mysterious)
    • timeStampspec (i.e. to require the use of a specific timestamp server)
    • version (ie the minimum version of Acrobat that can decrypt the signature. the only two options are to versions 6 or 8)

The second element is the certspec, and that's what I was pointing you to. In the sake of discussion, think about what you can read in a certificate as an extension. The serial number is an extension, the subject is an extension, the valid date is an extension, etc. When a certificate is created, some of these extensions are necessary, other optional and you can even add an extension that are not publicly defined, and only you will know everything.

Acrobat is able to enforce the signer to use a certificate that contains some, but not all known extensions. The extensions, it can enforce are:

    • Transmitter (i.e. to require the use of a certificate that is issued by a specific certification authority)
    • keyUsage (i.e. require the signatory certificate contain one or more of the nine possible values that can be included)
    • OID (i.e. requiring the certificate policy extension contains a specific value)
    • topic (i.e. require that the document is signed by a specific person using a digital ID specific)
    • subjectDN (i.e. require that the document is signed by a specific person, but they get to choose what your digital ID to use)
    • urlType (i.e. If the user is directed to the URL, there a web server where they can download a digital ID or a remote server of signature where the digital identification remains on the remote server)

That's all. If she isn't one of these elements, then Acrobat is unable to argue that the article is available. Advanced use of the key is not on the list.

  • ODI interface failed when you use the specific agent but very well with Local (agentless)

I just upgraded my 10.1.3.5 at 11.1.1.7 ODI and has encountered some problems.  When I run one of the interface with the 'Local (agentless)' (via ODI studio Designer in which the ODI software is installed, say Server A), it can complete successfully without error.  But if I run the same interface with specific agent (also via ODI studio Designer in Server A), it will fail.  In fact this specific agent I is also located in Server A.  The error message is as below:

Seems once again, some class/jar files are missing.  But I have really no idea this time how to fix it.  In addition, since it is ok with the local agent (no) but fail with specific agent, I think that it is not the problem of the interface, but the problem of the agent (configuration?).  Can someone give me some advice on how to fix it?  Any suggestion is welcome.  Thank you.

Note: it is on the Windows platform

By checking the MOS 1683307.1 Note, I have included the C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\common\misc\11.1.2.0 & C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\common\CSS\11.1.2.0\lib in the extra classpath and the agent works fine now.  THX.

  • Error in ODI, ORA-01747: invalid column, table.column, or user.table.column specification

ODI-1227: SrcSet0 (load) task fails on the source of ORACLE STAGING_YYY connection.

Caused by: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-01747: invalid column, table.column, or user.table.column specification

We get the above error whenever we run an ODI interface,
This interface is straight forrwad a mapping update incremental IKM Oracle, although we have identified the problem but do not know how it could be fixed

Source table that contains two columns that are generally identified as the key of DB

    NAME

    / / DESC

the target too has the same columns. If we disable these mappings to columns from the Active maps the interface works very well, however, with the latter, it fails. We will not be able to change the name of the column in the target because it is a table of Oracle products and has several dependencies to the breast.

Please suggest an alternative and also if our understanding is correct.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jay

    HI Jay

change the column as DESC and put "DESC" in the name, and save it for all the source concerned target and remapping to remove the column from the interface

    Thank you

  • Error Type 2 SCD: ODI - 1228:ORA - 01747: invalid column, table.column, or user.table.column specification

ODI error. When you try to import.

    Error Type 2 SCD: ODI - 1228:ORA - 01747: invalid column, table.column, or user.table.column specification

    It is a common question.

Allow your SCD SCD table column properties if you do not select "crush on change."
    This property simply

-Online CPC IKM goto => select ignore option error on update of existing lines.
