SQL script to change the database user

Oracle 11g on Solaris 10.5 64-bit SPARC

I work on generate a SQL script to change all default users to a new or custom password.
Example: change the system of the user identified by new_password

Problem:
My problem is that I don't want the 'new_password' be in plain text, because the script will on the ground prior to deployment.
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Is this doable or I can generate the already hashed password - as change User Manager idenfified < hash_characters >

Example change manager users identified by 'HE5823WE4095432241252 ';

You can use the hashed password if you say for example:

change the system of the user identified by values 'hashed_password_string '.

Hello

There is nothing built-in to Oracle SQL to do. Maybe your front-end has certain characteristics.

You can write dynamic SQL statements to do. In other words, you can write a query that the output is a SQL script like this:

ALTER TABLE TABLE_A CHANGE (A_TXT1 VARCHAR2 (5))

A_TXT2 VARCHAR2 (10));

ALTER TABLE TABLE_B CHANGE (B_TXT1 VARCHAR2 (5));

with one row for each column of type CHAR. Notice how the first line of output for each table begins with ALTER TABLE... but the later lines at the same table. Similarly, the last line of a table (which will be the same as the first row, if the table has only one column of type CHAR) to end with a semicolon, but other lines are not.

Here's a way to generate and execute such a dynamic script in SQL * more:

It's good to change all the CHARIOT of VARCHAR2 columns. The CHAR data type is nothing trouble.

How to change the database metadata after OIM/OAM installed?

To change the database/schema of metadata for our installation OIM/OAM.
What I intend to do is:
1. create the new db
2. run the RCU for the OID and OAM utility.
3. change the connection pool data source in the Weblogic OAM console.
Is there anything else I need to do?
I know, there was a connection to the database when I created the home field of the OID (via config.sh). I tried to run this script config again, but could not find a way to change the domain, nor I see how do in one of the consoles (much).

Where the SQL Scripts running after the installation of the ODAC for Oracle Client?
I just installed ODAC for Oracle Client on a windows server that runs a database of sql server, allowing developers to connect to a web application to an Oracle/Unix database. The installation States to run SQL scripts, located in the $ORACLE_HOME\ASP.NET\SQL directory after installation. I don't know where to run them? On the ORACLE DB on the Unix server? If someone could let me know, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
You must run on the Oracle database server, but they are necessary only if you use Oracle for ASP.NET providers.

If you just install the software, so you can use OLEDB with SQL Server linked server, for example, you don't need them. What do you need to run although if this is the case is the oramtsadmin.sql script that creates the objects used by the Oracle MTS Recovery Service (if you do not have these objects created on the database) that SQL Server uses a distributed transaction for Oracle connections I think.

I'm looking for a way that may alter the *.ldf database file, some customers do not put the Signal_endcoding_types in the FLA file. I need a way to save the 'coding' in the file with labview UI. I found a few old FLA file API, but I tried, it seems to me that they only works on older versions. My fla file version is LIN_protocol_version = "2.0"; LIN_language_version = "2.1"; could someone tell me if there is a way that can achieve my goal.

You want to edit the FLA file? Because if so there is nothing that neither currently offers that will work for you. If you want to use the FDL in XNet and you want to change the settings imported from the FLA so you can use the XNet API to achieve this. When you use XNet you import the FLA (or other database files) and then you can modify the database, but is not edit the FLA. This changes the database using the XNet, which began with the importation of the DFL.

Recently, there has been updates of XNet which allow you to export a database, but I think they don't support that export to a database BOX. So with CAN you can import a DBC XNet, change it using the database, editing tools, and then export it to a DBC should have the changes you made.

In XP, cannot change the way users log on and outside, getting the error "a recently installed program has disabled the Welcome screen and the user fast switching.

The switch on my fast computer of user function has been disabled on my computer. When I try to use this function. I get the following message.

SGGINA. DLL is Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption. You have to be careful to play with disk encryption, or you may end up not being able to access your drive at all.

UserFunctions.Java, I can create, edit, and delete a user.
But in this sample program, when I want to edit a user, I should create a new user first.

My requirement is I want to change the existing user passing the parameter when you run the program.
