Stamps, lines, forms seem to "snap to grid".

I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro, and recently my personalized stamps stopped appearing exactly where I click on the pdf file. Instead, they appear a slight distance. Then when I tried to ask several stamps closer, they would all line up the same distance together, regardless of the place where I clicked, almost as if they were a 'snap to grid' or something.

Today, I noticed the same problem when you draw a line - it seems to 'snap' just click above or below where I actually drew. And with shapes like rectangle or circle, they won't do that increase in size by rigid increments when I paint them.

I looked all over this forum and other places on the internet for a solution to this problem without success.

Help!

You have disabled the option 'Snap to Grid '?

  • "Snap to grid of Pixel" in symbol bugs?

    I don't know if someone from another grave on this problem, but I seem to run on it quite often. In general, I use symbols to my web creations all the time in illustrator. The graphic element (button or other) looks like visually crisp, broken and aligned on the grid of pixels very well with perfect lines and everything until I have become a symbol. When I discovered this symbol normally looks fuzzy lines on the pixel grid (too much anti-aliasing even with snap to grid of pixels on). When I double click to edit the contents of the symbol graphics become crispy! So weird! This does not always happen, but it happens with graphics ranging from the simple to the complex. Here is an example:

    Here, it is a symbol that I made called 'the big shabang' as you can see in the upper left corner. In the screenshot, I'm inside the symbol of edition. As you can see align it on the pixel grid is enabled for the item in the blue box. It seems crisp and aligned. (This is what it looked like until I made a symbol too. Just perfect.)

    preview_02509.png

    Same as above, but turned off to show the sharp lines:

    preview_02510.png

    Now look below. I leave the symbol and he discovered normal views and all lines are aligned is no longer to the pixel grid. Very strange. I don't turn the symbol or edited in any way for her to do. The only thing I did was convert symbol to make it blurry like that.

    preview_02513.png

    ----------------------------------------------

    Here's another one that is much less complex than the example above. This adds to Cart button is aligned to the pixel, as you can see in the screenshot. The edges look crispy while I am inside the symbol.

    preview_02515.png

    When I leave the button symbol is not so crispy (you can see the pixels mixing outside the grid of pixels and its dimensions 166px):

    preview_02514.png

    I'm starting to think that drop shadow layer style or a text layer has something to do with it, but I don't know and I can't reproduce it. Any ideas?

    The symbol corresponds to the grid of pixels more?

  • Snap to grid on while the grid is hidden - possible?

    Hello

    Is it possible, native or via the plug-in/script, which allows me to have snap to grid, although the grid itself is hidden?

    Thank you in advance for your help!

    Jorge Tom

    I was under the impression that you have found that it is impossible to snap when the options were hidden so that you were asking if there could be a script or plugin solution.  I know that Scripts can get places hidden Guide, but you need to call the script to use. Or have it triggered by a certain event.

    I missed the "native" in your original question.  To me, it looks like hidden additional view off. Thing as selection are always in effect you just don't see the moving dotted line.  If you move a selection so hidden you will be shown the outline while dragging doesn't align itself with almost anything and will hide once you stop hanging out.  I would say just just using the shortcut Ctrl + H the toggle display options. As other shortcuts Ctrl + "to turn the single grid Ctrl +;" Toggle guides

  • How to make objects easily snap to grid?

    Hey,.

    I implemented a 20 x 20 pixel grid and I want to try a few layouts of model easily. No matter what I try, Illustrator align everything just not on the grid. I have to zoom in really close to align each shape.

    Surprisingly it does not align to guides, leaving me completely hopeless.

    What's wrong?

    I nod to the pixel and all objects are set to match the pixel grid.

    Hey, Andrej. In fact, you have to disable preview pixelated. Then you can turn on "snap to grid" (as opposed to 'nod to the pixel"- which is not line up on the grid at all). Then, you can zoom out and make your layouts quickly.

    It took me a while to track down as I do the same thing. It's an annoying thing Slam with Illustrator. 1 many people, heheh.

    Hope that helps.

  • SNAP TO GRID: NO THANKS!

    Hello

    I am trying to increase the vertical length for some fields on my reports, but I am faced with an important problem, it seems that snapping every 5 pixels. I would need to increase it more light so that the report fits on 1 page.

    It's really annoying not being able to adjust the size of the field by a pixel unit.

    Is there a setting to disable the 'SNAP' car on the grid, which will allow me to fix my own size of the field.

    Kind regards.

    You can turn off snap to grid by going to display-> deselect snap to the grid.

  • We can add a button to the BP to approve Budget so that it can read all the charges in question cost journal line and auto fill on the grid.

    Hi all

    We can add a button to the BP to approve Budget so that it can read all the charges in question cost journal line and auto fill on the grid.

    Let's say I have a cost with 5 code cost journal

    Code 1 price

    2 cost code

    Code 3 cost

    Code 4 cost

    Code 5 cost

    BP budget approval, after that I click on New, can I add a button to the tab the line items so that when I click on this button, it reads all codes of cost in the cost journal and auto fill on the grid?

    You can create a new 'model' BP for this purpose. Line item type. Then add a line manually with a cost on each code. Then you can use the copy in your BP BA record consolidate the function to copy the line items to the new folder of BP (including all cost codes) into your folder of BA. That is to set up a model record once with all cost codes and then copy consolidate billing it to all lines new record of BA. would this work?

  • How to disable snap to grid of pixels?

    I guess that I have created a file with snap to grid of pixels put on the market.

    Cannot find out how to turn this option off.

    Created a new file without Pixel Grid Snap activated and glued the art in it... still struggled to properly align the points. Harumph!

    In any case, could someone please tell me how to disable Snap To Grid Pixel?

    Thank you!

    Use the transforam palette which stops in the flyout.

    You also have another setting on the bottom of the range of transformation.

    Also check to make sure you saw amek > snap to the network.

  • Multi line form and onload

    Hello

    I have a Multi line form (MRF) function wizard based on views (2 tables) with instead of triggers to manage the DML. I have an onchange event on a particular list item select according to each line that simply enables / disables other line items according to the value. It all works well, but I need to repeat the toggle points for each line, once the page is loaded.

    My first thought is to use an event onload in the definition of the Page, but cannot, and should I handle this in a process Page instead (keep in mind that he is a wizard generated MRF)? Also, I need to check that the new lines (via the Add Row button) are managed properly. If I go down the route of onload event, then is the easiest just to get a table (getElementsById?) of items and loop through them? Any thoughts would be most appreciated on the most effective way to do.

    See you soon,.

    PaulB

    Hello

    Yes, it appears same as an onload but, fortunately, does not interfere with any existing onload code - you can have only a single function of the window object onload call.

    You can iterate through the items in the form using something like:

    function disableItems()
    {
    var x = document.getElementsByName("f03");
    var y = document.getElementsByName("f04");
    for (int k = 0; k < x.length; k++)
    {
     if (x(k).value == 'A')
     {
      y(k).disabled = true;
     }
     else
     {
      y(k).disabled = false;
     }
    }
    }

    This assumes that the selection list is in column 3 (which should mean that SELECT objects must have a name of "f03" attribute) and that the element you want to toggle is in column 4 ("f04") - so adjust as needed.

    Like you have the same number of items in the column 3 and column 4 - loops above through those in column 3, checks the selected value, and then activates / deactivates the item in the same row in column 4.

  • Form of Oracle 10 g Grid foldable/ext.

    Anyone used the expandable grids in the done oracle 10g. Please give your suggesstions on it.

    When you create a block of data in a form, if you create a "tabular" format (rather than 'form'), you get a matrix with one record per line. You also specify the number of records to display at the same time, usually five to ten lines. Then with a scroll bar on the side, this block displays a number any lines to the user.

    It is the standard method of visualization of data in forms.

  • Line, highlight in the query results grid

    When I select a row in the grid of results after running a query, the row is highlighted in yellow with white text, and it is very difficult for me to see. I explored and excavated the preferences of the application but have not found a way to control this particular setting. I was able to turn on shading line replacing, but the development does not change much if it is enabled or disabled.

    Guidance on how to change this in order to highlight the lines and actually be able to read?

    Earl

    Hi Earl,

    This could depend on the version of SQL Developer that you have installed and how the highlighting was done, so we need more information.

    You drag the mouse on the grid or right-click in the grid and select Find / highlight in the context menu?  So just drag, then look at Tools > Preferences > environment > appearance.  Prior versions 4.0.x you could also choose a theme.  If you change the appearance / theme does not help, then eventually the user settings has been corrupted and you may need to reset the.  If 4.0.x you can try to do that via the window > Windows reset to factory settings, but in 3.2.x and earlier versions must delete the relevant parameters (or, more simply, the user settings directory for the specific version in use number structure).

    Using Find / highlight, you can choose a color to highlight from a pallet and persist different colors for different search strings, enable / disable highlighting for a specific search string, persist the highlights, or erase - fun to play with, I guess.  Persistent highlights made compensation is possible either via the same menu or Tools > Preferences > Database > object viewer > clear button.

    Hope this helps,

  • Pen tool Snap to grid toggle or switch on / off!  Adobe make this A new feature

    By default the pen tool is set as 'Snap to Pixel Grid"shot

    This is not always the best choice for a designer. They are specially when it comes to create icons for the Mobile market on a Pixel level.

    But there is an option to disable this wide ranging in your Photoshop settings > tools (PsCC2015) / (PsCS6) general > and uncheck

    Several times in a very short time? !!!  It becomes a chore

    Why not make a toggle between two Types of pen:

    • Pen (PixelGrid Snapper)
    • Pen (free circulation)

    Or

    A stylus (Tear Off Option included) Panel, where the user can turn this Option on and outside.

    This will give the PenTool ultimately a feature much more.
