I used the destructor of the demo feature PC Tools Performance Toolkit allows you to delete a directory that I couldn't take off any other way. At the same time used a few other functionlities software to clean my computer, the software promised to improve the performance of my computer (Vista). Then I discovered that the software deleted the list of programs recently used in the start which was not desirable. Now there is a list of recently used programs, and a new one is created either. How can I get the list to create again?
Hello
It is not recommended to use any cleaners/tune Up all registry program on modern operating systems.
And they can do more harm to your any good operating system that they claim to be able to do.
See if that helps you.

To start my computer upward as usual and takes me to open a session. I connect and my background appears, however my desktop icons, start menu and taskbar DO NOT appear. I can still access the Task Manager and command prompt, but when I try to use a command, absolutely nothing is happening, leaving this method of system recovery is not possible. What should I do?
bleedorange1998,
Thanks for posting with us. I suggest try to start safe mode and see if it works correctly. If Yes, then you can start using the "last known good configuration." If in Safe Mode, you have the same problem, you should run chkdsk /r and sfc/scannow. Here are the instructions for these suggestions. The start menu and taskbar does not appear. IM on windows 7. Any help please?
You can try to leave Explorer yourself. Here's how:
- Press Ctrl-Shift-escape, which should open the Task Manager.
- On the file menu, choose new task. Type explorer.exe and press ENTER. The taskbar and the desktop should appear.
However, this is not a permanent solution. My best advice to you would be to use the system restore to go back to one hour before the beginning of the question. This restoration process takes about 2 minutes and will not lose one of your folders: it restores only the settings from the system to a point in time that you choose (you can 'come back' as little as a few hours or several weeks).
To do a test, follow the steps below. I guess that you are unable to reach the taskbar for the following steps:
- Press Ctrl-Shift-escape, which should open the Task Manager.
- On the file menu, choose new task. Type rstrui.exe (this name is for 'restore user interface'). When you click OK, the system restore should start.
- Through the system restore program, you will choose a time to come back. When you have completed the program, your computer will restart with the settings at this time.
Please let me know if it helps.

Hi janavasiljev,This problem can occur for the following reasons:- Auto-hide the taskbar has been selected for the taskbar and Start Menu Properties.
- Your user account settings are corrupt.
- The core files are damaged.
- The Explorer.exe file does not load at startup.
Make sure that the hide option automatically is not selected for the taskbar and Start Menu Properties.
To determine if the hide option automatically is not enabled for the taskbar and Start Menu properties, follow these steps:
a. press CTRL + ESC.
b. If the Start menu is displayed, click on the Start menu and then click Properties.
c. click on the task bar , clear the Auto-hide the taskbar option and then click OK.

Start menu and white disappeared from tasks
Hello
recently, my internet explore and google chrome said that they were not able to work. So I searched online how to solve the problem, but now have a new. After you follow the steps, my Start menu and taskbar went white, I can't connect to my internet with various other things. How can I fix it?
Windows key is the key of Windows flag located at the bottom left of your keyboard between the Ctrl and ALT keys
Have you tried to restart the services using the directions that I listed above.
Perform a restore of your system if it is still impossible to start the system restore. No other alternative.
Disconnect all external devices - printer, speakers, microphone, etc...
Start > in the search bar, type Recovery > select Recovery Manager
Turn the system power off, reboot and start typing the key F11, F10 or F8 (depends on your system brand) to bring up the recovery screen
Good luck

Is back on the taskbar?
If so, make sure that lock you the taskbar, right-click on the taskbar > check 'lock the Tasbar.2. If the above does not help, go to safe mode and see if you can see the taskbar at the bottom.
Here's how to get safe mode:Shut down your computer > turn it back on and immediately and repeatedly tab key F8 until you see a black and white screen. The top/down arrow and select Safe Mode.If you can see the taskbar in safe mode, please do a system restore. Choose a date where you did not have this problem as your restore point.
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

If it doesn't, try a startup repair and / or a system restore using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft
Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.
Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.
If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

If you do not or can not borrow a Microsoft DVD there is a download of a file ISO of Vista Startup Repair available that you can put on a Bootable floppy to make the above startup repair and that the method is recommended by a large number of posters in these Forums.
Unfortunately, you have to buy it.
