  This is better handled by the recall of SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError:

  (1) StepResultCode (number) is added FileGlobals

  (2) add SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError callback to your movie file

  (3) the next stage of the declaration adds the recall of SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError :

  FileGlobals.StepErrorCode = Parameters.Step.Result.Error.Code

  I use post step reminder of failure to manage failures in my sequence. The sequence of reminder post not failure has many steps inside. I realized that other reminders like post step runtime error reminder and Post result list enrty do not work to get the stage Post failure callback procedure. Any suggestions for the error handling in the reminder of failure stage post?

  Thanks for your reply. I use developed approach for reporting. I uses the property Locals.Resultlist of the recall of step seq file post failed to accumulate the results and have a LabVIEW VI in the Group of the cleanup step to remove the results of the local population. List results and writing in an excel file.

• Thread marshaling ActiveX error

  Hi all

  I tried to control several stages APT of Thorlabs, via its ActiveX interface in LabVIEW.

  In my program, I initialized the steps at the beginning and closed resources for them at the end. The program works without problem.

  After that, when I added some features of the software only for the program, I encountered this error on threads of triage (pls see "error_new_gui.png"). This occurs when

  (1) I ran my program VI for the first time,

  (2) is out of the VI

  (3) ran it again without closing the VI. It also happens even if I close the VI and then reopen it from the LabVIEW project.

  To avoid this, the only solution now is to close LabVIEW after each race.

  A that someone encountered this kind of error? What could be the possible reasons? I've searched around, but it doesn't seem to be much information about this type of errors.

  Hi all

  I contacted Thorlabs - they suggested workaround has been to change the enforcement system preferred in the properties of the VI of "identical to the appellant" to "User Interface". That seems to work for me for now.

  I have a strange error with excel activeX: "-2146827284!"

  Why strange? Because my export feature works perfectly on a computer but not on another... (both are windows 7 + Excel 2007)

  How my application works:

  I have to read an excel spreadsheet which preserves made with different types of instruments of measures.

  For each type of instrument, I have to create a specific worksheet with its measures.

  For example:

  1 spreadsheet excel with the many measures of 4 different types of instruments

  SHOULD GIVE

  4 excel spreadsheets containing the measures of each instrument (1 worksheet for a type of instrument).

  Hope I am clear...

  Why I do with LV? Because it's fun!

  I coded the name of the folder as a constant aim dev. And I do not mind that the name of the folder is not the same on both computers!

  Hello, I hope someone can help. I use Windows 7 64-bit. on a high spec pc. When you run FS2004 (Flight Sim program) I get the error message "" run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object ". " That seems to relate to the flight or the CMF management computer program. This error seems to inhibit access to the CMF. I tried to load the latest ATI driver, but that makes things worse.   Unfortunately, none of the above worked. However, I downloaded a file recommended by Flight1 (the creators of one of the 2 games I had problems with) surprisingly, thisinstantly solved the problem it is called http://www.flight1.com/dx7vb.exe.

  Perhaps in the future someone else have this same problem with Vista 64-bit where the game, they could also try this "correction". Of course, it worked for me!

  I have download MSCOMM.ocx, then add this file in the system directory and registered using the following command: "regsvr32 C:\Windows\system32\MSCOMM.
