Still and surround sound 5.1

I just finished a project in adobe cs6 first pro and the dynamic link to create a dvd in Encore. The project was carefully mixed in 5.1 surround, but the DVD is released in stereo. I can't figure out what I did wrong. Someone out there who can help? Thank you!

Brent D

You cannot use dynamic link with material 5.1. You need a dolby AC3 digital file in the first use of the Surcode encoder and an Mpeg video file. These you can then bring in yet.

    Hello

The sound on the DVD I burned in still suddenly falls to almost inaudible--but only when played on a DVD player! The problem does not occur on a computer (well in the first, still and DVD sounds good on all players like windows media, real player, etc.).

Drop noise happens in the same place, about 40 seconds in the 1/2 hour video. Then, the sound blasts at full volume for the end credits I inspected the 2 audio tracks in the first and track volumes do not change, nor my knots of volume control in the securities themselves explain the problem.

Why it would sound good in all applications on a computer, but not on a DVD player... and why the first 40 seconds would sound good on the DVD player?

I could hear volume of 'regular' dialogue in the left and much softer, but not absent, in the right. I can't guarantee this isn't an artifact on this end.

I think you have solved the audio problem at first. Looks like you have a stereo audio track from a source who had a microphone in a single channel. Instead of panning, "fill right" (or left, I always have to check myself on this) so that you get the dialogue on both sides.

I don't think that you dismissed a phase problem. But I suspect that when solve you the problem of the track, your audio will be correct.

  • Windows Media Player and a 5.1 Surround sound

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 660 and I use the speaker system, I had with my old computer - a set of very good quality Sony 5.1 Surround Sound speakers.

I tested the speakers under sound settings - all speakers are appearing in the work. I also played music using Nero media player and Media Player Classic - everything works fine.

However, whenever I try to play music in Windows Media Player - the only sound from two speakers?

I'm confused here - I know that the speakers work, as evidenced by the sound test and the fact that they work with other media players, then why they won't work with Windows Media Player. Have you tried a few "fix - its" Microsoft - nothing has worked so far.

I use Windows 7 (even on my old computer - incidentally where the media player worked well) and equipped with K-Lite codec pack.

Anyone has any ideas - I use Windows Media Player the most and have all my songs stored there, so it's going to be a real pain if I can't use it and it's my favorite player, but it's just annoying and frustrating.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Try this.

    -Go to the control panel
    -Find the icon of speakers
-On the devices tab of reading, find your set of speakers and click Properties
    -Click on the enhancements tab
    -Check the box "Speaker Fill".
    -Click OK.

    Hi korlath,
First, make absolutely certain that your soundcard Control Panel, but also the sound properties in the control panel are properly configured to use the number of channels you want.
If you are still having problems and you want audio equipment, follow these steps:
    a. go to your C:\Users\\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config directory and rename the file to something else BIOEngine.ini.
    (b) launch Mass Effect without running the Config utility. The game will recreate BIOEngine.ini using the default values, and must correctly identify your audio hardware.
    c. in the in-game Audio hardware settings should already be selected - do not change back to audio software or make other changes to the sound settings.
Note: Audio: If checked, the game uses hardware acceleration that improves the audio quality and performance. I recommend you check this option in most cases, unless you are having audio problems or other problems. In particular, note that you will need to check this option if you have a multichannel audio system and use more than 2 channels.
    Hope this information is helpful

  • Not Surround sound more on Blu - ray player after upgrade by MediaSmart

When I used the Blu - ray player in my home theater, I selected the mode "HDMI pass" to get a sound surround. I came across a few new films that would not play and after the update from HP, the player would simply freeze as soon as there is audio present. I had to go to the Task Manager to close it.

MediaSmart works fine on the laptop, but it only freezes when I use the parameter "pass through HDMI.

I tried mode "HDMI pcm" and who does not work either. This Denon receiver there are five channels work but I get stereo sound on front speakers left and right. This seems to indicate that the Blu - ray player is not released in 5.1 surround sound and the laptop and the Denon receiver works fine.

Supports the HP solution was to reinstall the older driver or try a system restore. I know that a system restore won't do anything. The problem is in the new software. The new software does not work on my HDX18 when he was under Vista, it did not work when I upgraded to Windows 7 and it does not work on my new dv8.

I tried to contact CyberLink to let them know that the upgrade is giving problems, but I think they ignore me.

Personally, I think that HP or Cyberlink just forgot to add the drivers for a 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound.

If anyone find a solution to this one that I wouldn't be surprised. I'm quite sure I've covered all the possibilities, but you never know.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

HP had me download a software called K-Lite which is a software codec repairs and replacement. After the upgrade of the software more returned to get my blu - ray movies to work, I ran K-Lite and that did the trick.

    http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

I used the mega version, but you can probably use the standard.

It is a software complex with many choices and I changed it to accept a sound audio surround and DTS 7.1. There were several boxes prompting me to remove the broken codec which continued for some time and when it was all thanks to I was surprised that it worked.

Meanwhile CyberLink itself actually got back to me and I was given some temporary free software provide I run their diagnostic tool for them on my dv8 for helping them understand my problem. It is still pending.

  • Can't get surround sound in Media Center

I have a computer set up in my living room which is mainly used for watching TV in Windows Media Center on Windows x 64 8. I've noticed for a while that it seemed that sound surround did not work and I was only get stereo sound of the by the front speakers. I run sound via HDMI to my computer in my surround receiver. The output is a motherboard Intel DH77EB using graphics Intel HD 4000.

When I go into the Windows taskbar and open the playback devices, I configured the audio HDMI 5.1 surround and the sound is output to all speakers. Before, when I would try to run the speaker via Media Center Setup, it would skip the screen where you can play a sound test and go directly to the screen resolution of the problems, as if I chose that I could not hear sound from all speakers. After crossing the speaker setup of the Windows again last night, I could finally access the test page for the configuration of your speakers in Media Center. This time, the small circle 'busy' just spun for a while, and then he asked if I heard the sound of all speakers. He never played any sound. I thought he would return to the previous settings, but when I tried to play TV, he played with no audio and then pops up an error on the codecs are not properly installed.

The only way I could get Media Center to start playing live and recorded TV is again to return the Windows sound properties and reconfigure my HDMI out be only stereo. I have temporarily lost my digital optical audio cables, but I will try those next. I hope that this will work because it will rely on different audio drivers for my computer (Realtek). I didn't have to run an extra audio cable when HDMI should work for all.

The additional troubleshooting steps I took were completely uninstall and reinstall all the graphics and audio drivers with more later from the Intel Web site. I would try a refresh of Windows installation because I think that it worked when my computer is first set up (before some problems with my SSD). The only problem with that is that I have many records of CableCard that I would lose to join because of copy protection.

So there is a work around for this problem, which is still not great, but will fix the problem to some extent (not require to keep switching the mode stereo surround for different applications). If you have your default playback device (mine is a Nvidia video card using the HDMI output) output configured for 5.1 surround sound it is a way that you can get Media Center working properly. If you start Windows Media Center by double clicking on a video recorded (record TV) in the recorded TV file default value it will launch Windows Media Center for the video and start playing without the two second loop audio and immanent freeze and screen "video playback error". Then, you can navigate to Live TV and it will continue to function properly. This seems to be the only medium that you can leave your speakers configured to 5.1 surround output and still use Media Center.

  • How can I get the audio 5.1 surround sound in Encore?

Trying to get my mix 5.1 surround sound of the first CC in again to create a Blu - Ray and DVD. Exported AAC file first. Imported into yet. When I look at quality Presets in still, the audio tab shows the audio settings of basic as Dolby Digital Stereo with no option to change in 5.1. I built the project anyway and played on a Blu - Ray player and heard only the left and right audio channels.

You must make the first 5.1 file and export it as an ac3 track. If you are CC 2015 exports Dolby Digital required using dvd Mpeg2 or H264dvd presets. Import ac3 into yet, is not re-transcoded.

  • Is it possible to create 7.1 surround sound using surcode in adobe first pro?

I am currently using surcode for export 5.1 surround sound. However my sound system is actually made up of 7 speakers and a subwoofer - 7.1. So what showing my room exported in 5.1 two sound, speakers have no sound that crosses (annoyingly, these are the two speakers near where you sit).

    Thank you

p.s., I have reason to think over-codes still offer THREE free trials?

If I understand correctly Surcode for first does not 7.1. Not sure on free trials, the program, the interface and the licensing procedure has changed a lot between CS6 and CC.

  • Can I burn a DVD with surround sound 5.1 PE10?

I'm experimenting PE10 to see if it does what I want.

I created a small project based on the HD AVCHD 5.1 project preset and have imported a few clips with ac3 for audio files.

When I play the videos in the application, the sound surround works very well.

I burned the project on DVD, but when I play the DVD on my DVD drive (plugged into stereo) I don't get sound no go my surround speakers, only forward and Center/subwoofer speakers.

I tried other presets of project and the creation of a 5.1 audio channel in importing an ac3 file and adding especially tracks.  The problem with this is that the sound surround sound does not work in the application, and I checked the audio preferences and played with the settings.

So, my question is if I can burn a project with 5.1 audio on DVD to be played on a DVD player?

Unfortunately, he cannot encode pre DD 5.1 SS, but only import who and then mixing stereo (2 channels).

PrPro even need optional Minnetonka Audio / over-codes SS SD plugin 5.1 (~ $ 250), do it. PrPro, we can create a DD 5.1 SS DVD or BD, through recall (the included authoring application), but yet will write ONLY the DD 5.1 SS AC3 (through than SurCode plugin) and can not watch the DD 5.1 SS, but PrPro can, so monitoring all should be done before yet. Yet can also write other extra Audio streams, such as DTS, ProLogic, etc., but who MUST be imported into the still and SHOULD be 100% DVD/BD-compliant in all respects.

    Good luck

  • HP Envy 17 t-j100: where is beats? And the sound is bad after you installed windows 10

So I installed windows 10 when he pulled out a few months back. When I install my audio beats is completely left! As this laptop is shipped with it. He was the symbol engraved on it so the reason that this laptop was so expensive in the first place with audio beats adding (I know that Hp has probably had to buy the rights or something and so increase the price). That being said, my audio beats went and my sound is too bad. As the volume is low (yes I made sure it's not muted and checked my sidebar, you know one next to the time on the screen and also the video player or the music I listen too and also the audio Manager but nothing is). Also, my audio changed too. It used a different name that according to me, but after the update is "IDT High Definition Audio CODEC". I've also updated my driver, but even once, nothing worked.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63001-63500/sp63408.exe

When the reinstallation of Chipset is finished, stop the laptop.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When he finished, restart the computer again and let windows to load completely for a few minutes before checking it in.

  • No. 5.1 surround sound HDMI

Problem - I don't get that ' "two-channel stereo sound during playback of a DVD (with Dolby) on my computer.  The computer is connected to an audio receiver that is set up for a surround sound.  Audio and video signals are transmitted from the PC via the HDMI 8.Lorsque on the video/tuner card.

    Computer - Compaq SR7510F

Vidéo/Tuner - ATI All in Wonder HD

Connected to Onkyo TX-SR604 through a video/Tuner card HDMI cable.  The Onkyo receiver is connected for 5.1 surround sound speakers.  Video signals are transmitted via the receiver to a flat screen monitor

    Sound - onboard Realtek

According to the specifications for the SR5710F it is supposed to support its 6 speakers.  However the HDMI audio driver only allows me to select "stereo".  It is a select "surround" box, but the box is "grayed out".

When I play the same DVD using a stand-alone DVD by Phillips drive, connected to the Onkyo receiver with the same HDMI cable, I get Dolby on the receiver.  This means that it is not a problem with the receiver, it must have something to do with 1) onboard Realtek sound driver 2) HDMI, or 3) the HDMI connection on the video/tuner card.

I checked on the Web from Realtek site and they list a newer driver for Vista (32 bit), but when I use the Device Manager to update the driver, it is said that it is the most recent.  I don't know that the driver is the problem, so I'm hesitant to try for the heck of it.

I tried the latest drivers Catalyst 9.1 for ATI All in Wonder card, but that didn't help either.

    Any idea?

    Telefunken,

Thanks for the suggestion.  It worked!  There is absolutely no sense to me, nor it does not seem logical to select SPDIF, but I can't argue with success.

I didn't need to buy Arcsoft Media Theater.  I was able to select SPDIF with ATI Catalyst and Microsofts Media Center.  I could get Dolby

In my current setup, I updated ATI Catalyst 9.3 version graphics card and loaded the audio driver Realtek HDMI ATI R2.18.  Also in the BIOS, I put the Audio on 'Auto '.  I chose the HDMI, not the Realtek driver driver in Control Panel.  I chose Dolby and DTS bothy under the driver settings.

Now I think I'll enjoy a Quantum of Solace from this nagging problem is resolved.

  • Satellite L30: Watch DVD problem - slowly and the sound is distorted

    Hello!
I have a Toshiba laptop Satellite L30-115. I use WinDVD preinstalled to watch DVD. everything was fine until yesterday. Since then, my DVD drive seems to have problems with playback of DVD movies (original).

It's a little slower that should be, and the sound is a bit distorted. The same DVD my laptop no problems to play now, it seems impossible to play properly.

I tried system recovery to date, everything was good, but that did not help.

Everything's fine, when I play movies from my hard drive, but apparently my DVD Player cannot play fair.
I tried various combinations (turn on/off digital playback in Device Manager), but nothing seems to work.

    No idea how to fix?

First of all, give it a try with cleaning the lens of your DVD player. Several times a lens dirty or CD/DVD that makes impossible to correct read causing delays.
Because the movies read from the HARD disk correctly, it does not seem to be a related problem of codec, but... you should still try to use other DVD player software to ensure that WinDVD is not the source.

I suggest you also to keep longer, to install software of reduction of CD speed during normal use of all the days of the life of your drive. As you know, the disc spins a lot faster than actually required inside the car which complicates the procedure for reading (especially on the scratched CD) and consumes more energy, too.

Reduce speed solves problems like the one you have several times. Here is a link to the Version of acoustic silencer of TOSHIBA 1.00.008 (from page of the pilot satellite L30), give it a try:

    http://support.toshiba-tro.de/tools/satellite/sl30psl33/XP/acoustic-silencer/acsil-PSL33-XP-100008-en.zip
(This software runs independent you have European/American version of laptop L30, even on a different model as Satellite Pro 6100 a.s.o..)

From my understanding, to reach 5.1 output, you need the outputs 3 analog stereo, or you will have to do it via HDMI.  I hope this helps.
