• I started to have some pop-under ads every time I run Firefox and uninstall instructions don't make sense, how can I stop these?

  In the last two weeks, whenever I run Firefox, a grandeur nature pop-under ad is also launched, regardless of which site I am browsing.

I expect this type of advertising malware on dubious websites, I get them when I try to access Hotmail, news, etc., so it is not the site that is originally.

  Hello

  I'm working on a sequence which is 00; 29; 29; 20 in length. For me it is 29 minutes and 29 seconds.  These numbers are shown in yellow on the lower left side of the screen.  These same numbers are also shown in yellow just above and to the left of the timeline.  These agree with my calendar time and play time.

  Now and it is not supposed me...  On the right side at the bottom and just below the screen, white numbers I see show 00; 01; 50 07.  Isn't that supposed to be the total length of the sequence?

  Little worried that only 1 minute and 50 seconds are in the sequence.  I make the entire sequence.

  Looks like you have a "orphan", out past where your Timeline must end.

  When you hit \ (backslash) to zoom out on the entire timeline, you see a Clip, out beyond the end into any track?

• Installation printer host desktop 9 - docs don't make sense

  I tried to install printer host on a VM Windows 7 x 86 desktop 9.0.1.  The documentation under the section titled "Add printers from host a to a virtual machine" just does not add up to - sems to Miss thing.  When I do this:

  3. in the Add Hardware Wizard, select printer and finishing.

  Default device settings are to connect the printer to the virtual machine when the virtual machine is running. »

  Step 3 when I select printer, I get a message saying "Maximum reached."   What does that mean?   I never added all printers before, this is my first attempt.   Should I remove the printer and try again?

  In addition, this last section has me confused:

  "In a print window, when you try to select a printer in Windows 7 virtual machines, you can see only the default printer, even if other printers are available. To see other printers, right click on the default printer and point to printer properties. »

  In the "Print" window I see, there is no option to right click.   If I select the properties of the printer there is another printer, it's just the Properties dialog box you wait - how the hell other printers appear in the Properties dialog box a specific printer?

  What I'm missing here?

  Maybe there is a problem with the installation of the VMware Tools on the machine.

  Try reinstalling VMware tools and make sure that the virtual printing component is selected.

  I am trying to copy and paste text on a Web site, but Firefox seems to have a problem with that and then takes me to a page where I have to add a txt file and configure permissions for Web sites or something. Please provide a simple solution to this, and why is it even blocked!

• I have a MacBook Pro, beginning 2011, just upgraded to 8 Ram and have the storage capacity of 500 GB.  I need more storage for photos.  How much more can my grip of Mac, and it makes sense to add a computer that old?

  I'm trying to decided if I should try to add more storage to my lap top existing, or buy a new one with more memory.  I am a Photogaphy and need a lot of storage.  I have a MacBook Pro, in early 2011, just upgraded to 8 GB of Ram so I could upgrade to OSX E Capitan and add new software. I have 500 GB storage now and need a lot more. Would love 2 TB or more.

  To go more than you would have to decide if the portability was an important issue, because additional disks should probably be external. The Mac can support dozens of external hard drives. If you do not carry them, 'office' readers are faster and can be found in larger sizes. Their PIN 12-volt Motors require a lot more power that can be provided using Bus power, while they use their own power supplies.

  Just more curious than what anyone whether or not it makes sense to upgrade the E4500 processor to something better in my HP Compaq DC7800 minitour.

  I just noticed there are a lot of new processors socket 775 as my E4500 processor, which is 2.2 Ghz, 2 MB cache L2, FSB FSB 8oo.

  I mostly use this computer for some average games (mostly 'source' based Steam games, which are not as intense graphics, as much recent games) as well as some general image processing. Also want to do as well light video editing.

  I wonder if anything under $100 would make a significant difference, or whether to just save for a newer computer.

  I have a dc7800 with processor E8300 (stock entry) and I like the additional performance due to the larger cache.

  I don't know how the FSB of 1333 MHz plays in the equasion, because the memory at 800 MHz is a bottleneck.

  And HP installed memory PC2-5300 in most dc7800 who makes it worse to 667 MHz unless you put all chips from 800 MHz to your PC, as I did.

  If you want to upgrade, I'd go to E8600 and which should be a nice improvement.

  I also maxed out the memory to 2 x 2 GB PC2 - 6400, running W7 Pro 64 bit.

  You can buy a used, but tested and functional E8600 for $48.00 on eBay.

  I'm sure that you will need to install the latest firmware update for not having any processor microcode error.

  I would also add that if you do not have a dedicated graphics card then, it will do much more for you than upgrading the processor, what about the graphics performance is concerned.

  I put a Radeon HD 6570 in my dc7800 CMT and it works just great.

  You can do an update of the video card for $75 or less.

  Just about everything with a 400W or card should less work.

  It's the one I got. I love the fanless models because it does not add noise and Fanless do fall on you.

• Nexus 1000v - this config makes sense?

  I started to deploy the Nexus 1000v at a 6 host cluster, all running vSphere 4.1 (vCenter and ESXi). The basic configuration, license etc. is already completed and so far no problem.

  My doubts are with respect to the actual creation of the uplink system, port-profiles, etc. Basically, I want to make sure I don't make any mistakes in the way that I want to put in place.

  My current setup for each host is like this with standard vSwitches:

  vSwitch0: 2 natachasery/active, with management and vMotion vmkernel ports.

  vSwitch1: natachasery 2/active, dedicated to a storage vmkernel port

  vSwitch2: 2 natachasery/active for the traffic of the virtual machine.

  I thought that translate to the Nexus 1000v as this:

  System-uplink1 with 2 natachasery where I'm putting the ports of vmk management and vMotion

  System-uplink2 with 2 natachasery for storage vmk

  System-uplink3 with 2 natachasery for the traffic of the virtual machine.

  These three system uplinks are global, right? Or I put up three rising system unique for each host? I thought that by making global rising 3 would make things a lot easier because if I change something in an uplink, it will be pushed to 6 guests.

  Also, I read somewhere that if I use 2 natachasery by uplink system, then I need to set up a channel of port on our physical switches?

  At the moment the VSM has 3 different VLAN for the management, control and packet, I want to migrate the groups of 3 ports on the standard switch to the n1kv itself.

  Also, when I migrated to N1Kv SVS management port, host complained that there no redundancy management, even if the uplink1 where mgmt-port profile is attached, has 2 natachasery added to it.

  While the guys do you think? In addition, any other best practices are much appreciated.

  Yes, uplink port-profiles are global.

  What you propose works with a warning. You cannot superimpose a vlan between these uplinks. So if your uplink management will use vlan 100 and your uplink of VM data must also use vlan 100 which will cause problems.

• Adobe Premiere Elements 10. Does make sense to upgrade my 32 GB memory?

  I have the following Setup (purchased in September 2011).

  • M4 128 GB crucial SSD
  • ASUS GeForce Ti DirectCU TOP 1 GB 2xDVI II GTX560
  • WD 2 TB sata 600 (black edition).
  • Windows 7 prof 64 bit.
  • Adobe Premiere Elements 10 + Photoshop Elements 10

  On the 128 GB SSD, I installed Windows 7, office 2010, Adobe software, and the SSD is used to swap/temp-drive for Adobe elements and Windows 7.

  The second WD SATA 600 black 2 TB drive is used for all my equipment photo and video.

  When searching on the internet and on this forum, I understand that until the first elements Adobe 9 unused RAM memory beyond 3 GB because of the 32-bit adobe core of the series of elements.

  Can you and first Elements 10 (or higher) will use memory beyond 3 GB?

  When I install 32 (4 x 8 GB) GB of DRAM memory, the recommended windows pagefile will be around (2 x 32 =) 64 GB. With windows 7 and some software installed there are not a lot of space on the SSD to the first elements temp adobe reader. I probably set the temp on the WD 2 to 600 sata drive because there is more free space left.

  I don't know if it makes sense to upgrade my memory.

  You have a lot more power to edit AVCHD and other high-def video.

  You certainly won't hurt anything by adding more RAM - but you won't see better performance with first Elements 10 from 8-16 GB of RAM.

  You can rename a bookmark in bookmarks (library) Manager in the details pane lower right, after selecting a bookmark.

  You can also do it in the bookmarks bar (view > sidebar) through the context menu > properties.

  "Bookmarks > organize bookmarks ' has been renamed to"show all bookmarks"in Firefox 4 and later versions.

  As you reinstalled just Vistas, you would have a very limited number of Restore Points!

  Try the system restore.

  If this does not work, and you don't know what you were doing, reinstall it again.

  Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

Make a right click works, but cannot get rid of blocked dialogue. I see people saying Flash dialogues only work with the scaling to screen 100%, but this would make the screen of 3000 x 2000 pretty unusable. Is there a better solution?

  I just ordered a couple for the team the other day.  It took some time for our supplier of equipment start their storage.

  These dialog boxes are problematic for a number of reasons.  I'd love to see them disappear entirely.  In most cases, what you run is our protection fromclickjacking anti - being overzealous.  Flash Player is in an uncomfortable position, where it is difficult to ensure that we are the object of above and that our security dialogue box is not obscured by something malicious that tries to make you click on it.  This is particularly problematic if the dialog box appears on things that move, such as video.  Fixed bugs in the logic of clickjacking is a game of whack-a-mole, so usually set us on a config and finds that he has beaten another combination of factors of density/zoom screen/resolution.

  The best way to deal with the situation is to simply stop the dialog box to display in the first place.  The days when disabling Local Shared Objects in Flash you bought anything in terms of protection personal information are over long - HTML5 provides much more powerful functions to develop behavioral followed resilience.  The best approach in trying to stay private is to use only the browser incognito-private browsing mode.  This tricks Flash into thinking it has access to whatever he wants to write, but it happens in a temporary directory that is destroyed when you exit the private browsing session.

  Anyway, for this purpose, you can configure Flash Player to always allow sites to store local shared objects, or you can allow it on a site-by-site basis if it is a site of particular video or something that gives you consistent headaches.

  To do this, go to control panel > Flash Player > storage and choose an option.

  It is also interesting to note that there is a lot of superstition there since the beginning of the 1990s on the 'Flash Cookies' / shared/LSO local objects that holds true anymore.

  When you clear the cache of your browser, we remove our LSO.  The feature was scheduled for things like game save data and caching assets, but some smart marketing people find it useful to backup the data in the cookie of the user store, so that they had followed who survived a user to delete their cookies.  While the unfortunate and embarrassing, we corrected for a long time that, by adopting a behavior that we believe best match user expectations.  Unfortunately, once you get the stench on you, it is difficult to reverse.

  Miracast protruding on windows 10 not cross. When I click on connect, it does not detect the Roku streaming stick when I click on "Connect". I ran a DirectX and the paper says "Miracast: not supported.

  Question: is an add on / care equipment I can reach to see that Miracast is supported? (In the same sense of how I stick to USB adapter that supports blue tooth)?.

  Seek the advice of knowledgeable people to make the lap top Miracast compatible so that I can get computer TV set.

  I read your message and understand that you try to use Miracast on your Pavilion dv6 notebook. As noted in your post and Maintenace and Service of Guide, Miracast is not supported by this type of laptop. There are a few third party options that don't use Miracast, more commonly known as transmitter and receiver HDMI systems.

  What exactly you need to know? Ask it help on the error you saw, or just for general information about storage screws?

  Storage screws are really cool technology, mainly for playback of files of different formats. You can write multiple formats of files as well, but the screw storage are not optimized for streaming data quickly on the disk. Use the TDMS functions directly for it.

  The coolest thing on the storage of screws is that they provide an interface of type TDMS (groups of channels, channels, named properties and data) for many formats of various files using a plugin system. So, you can download of the plugins that allow the screws to read (and sometimes write) storage formats TDM, PDM, CSV, TXT, DAT, MDF, MAST, XML and so on. It's perfect for your users, because you can give them a generic tool and that they use the file format of their choice they already have. From 2010 the screw storage can even automatically detect which plugin to use. Before that you have to manually choose the plugin right you based on the file format and what plug-ins have been installed. Very cool.

  The screw storage are wrappers around the layer of the ICU, who was born I believe in technology of DIAdem. I said before, they are optimized for playback of data quickly, do not write it. It has to do with the TDM storage format, which is the Basic for storage format live. TDM always stores all data of the contiguous string in the file. This makes it very quick to do research, analysis and other types of treatment. However, it is not ideal for streaming data to the disc, because usually you try to write small pieces of many channels at once. Try to do this while keeping all data of each channel as a whole is not optimal.
