Strange files in the created C partition starting at only

Hello world

Recently I discovered that there are a few folders created in my C drive, I've never seen elsewhere. When I tried to delete them they don't give me permission to do so.

I'll give you some names of these folders, if that helps in any way: "62c6f26ad1942dc218d306", "7d79be14a048fd8a8515ecd6123c", "87af31044ce942c8950d9ade775b0023" and it lights up.

If anyone has an idea of what these issues are, how they were created, and how can I remove them, please help me!

Excuse my poor English...

Hello

This folder contains the Microsoft updates and are created automatically
I have the same thing on my HARD drive.

If its ok! Don t be afraid that something is wrong here ;)

    Do not delete it.

  • Strange files in the users profile

Recently I discovered a few records of stramge and I'm not sure of their source.

They find themselves in the users > Appdata > local and LocalLow folders

    The files are named:

    EmieBrowserModeList

    EmieSiteList

    EmieUserList

    These files are all empty.

Don't know what application they are associated or how to determine that.  I don't have these on any other PC, however, I have not the same applications on all, either. This is why I want to know the Association.

There are entries in the registry.  I searched the registry and delete entries, as well as all the directories. They all returned. They seem to be classified as system files.

    Using Win7 64 bit

As I said, I do not understand how to find the application that are associated with these records.

In addition to running MS Security Essentials, precaution, I ran the package of Kaspesky TDSSkiller. Records remain.

If someone saw, I would be grateful for your help.

  • The new VMFS partition size is only 1.36 to

    Hello!

We have a storage SAN with LUNS, created as a partition of 3.36 Tb I have map this partition to the host ESX 4 and you can see it in Configuration - Storage.

But when I try to create a new partition of VMFS, he said provision only 1.36 to...

    Screenshot provided.

Change the maximum block size doesn't matter...

    I ask you your opinion!

ESX does not have the right size on a longer ROW of 2 TB. Please see the document below

    http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalID=3371739

Then, you try to provide 3.6 to for a single VM (in a single hard drive)

Please note that you can extend the LUN to a maximum storage volume of 64 TB (2 TB x 32 LUNS) However, you cannot assign more than 2 TB to a single hard disk. You will still need to create 2 hard drives of 2 TB each, then I would say that you do not use extends and present the LUN 1 to drive 2 TB hard 1st and 2nd MON of 1.6 to 2nd hard drive.

  • retrieve the information of partition table with lack of offline data file

I just restored a backup of a database. When I unzipped data files, I discovered that a single data file was so damaged in the starting order of the database, I had to put the offline data file. The tablespace which reports the data file holds the information of partition of a table. Since I have no archives from when the data file has been created, I know it is not possible to recover the data file, I have to recover as many lines as possible other files in the tablespace data but when export or create the table as what to choose in the affected partition get ORA-00376 : cannot read file 1624 at the moment.

is there a way to tell oracle to ignore the data offline file and export the remaining data file information?

    Just to clarify my situation a little more;
iI have a table called PPGA_ACTABOPRE that is partitioned by HASH and has 20 partitions, each partition in a different tablespace and tablespace each have about 8 files of data. A data file in the partition 9 is missing and I want is to get the information from the files of the remaining data, but whenever I issue a select statement or an exp or anything I get ORA-00376.

I try to set the flag to ignore blocks corrupt with run DBMS_REPAIR. SKIP_CORRUPT_BLOCKS ('PPGA', 'PPGA_ACTABOPRE'); and then select the info but it did not work.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated;
    Thanks in advance

For the actabopre_p08 partition, some files are available, and we're not. You can access data at the segment level, because some extensions are missing.

You would need to access the data by rowid. You could loop through dba_extents and use dbms_rowid.create to generate a list of ROWID that may exist in the available data files.

    This may help: -.

It works well, but recently, we see the file with the extension name from "start" are generated with size '0 '. The right files always generated with the appropriate content.

Can someone tell us what is causing this problem?

    Hi Alena

I assume you are using a B2B channel tuned to retrieve messages in a folder. Please check if this channel to listen is to have the parameter enable selected marker.

Disabling the marker Enable should avoid generating the file start in the folder.

  • Need help to use a diskpart command line to create a partition.

Original title: diskpart question - please help

I really need help with the diskpart commands, so I hope someone can help out me. I recently sold a pc on ebay which would include a 320 GB HARD drive. I didn't want to take any chances on the data being restored from the disk I did a "clean up" the disk to be sure.

Seeing how it would take time, I started after work and went to bed. During the night the XP machine, it worked on that decided to do an update and restart. Long story short, I have more the diskpart command line to create the new partition and format the disk, and I can't (don't know how) get machine XP or 7 to recognize the drive.

I do not think that it will hire at all, but the reader is sitting in a docking station and mounted in the machine. If someone could help me I would be very happy. If you can give me a list of commands that I need to get this drive back to normal and ready to ship (so the buyer can easily load their own OS) I would be eternally gratefull.

Is there another way besides as diskpart to get the disk to format so I can send it ready for the new owner to install its own operating system?

    Hello

Step 1: Format your hard drive using the Installation disc.

If you have the installation disc, you can format the hard drive.

To do this, follow the steps below:

    (a) place the installation disk in the system tray.

    (b) restart the system using the installation disc. (This is commonly known as booting from the installation disc).

    (c) during the installation process, you can re-partition and reformat your hard drive

Note: the process will erase your files and programs, so remember to make backups of your data files and the program before you start.

    Check out the link:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/installing-and-reinstalling-Windows-7

You can try following the steps from the link below

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/313348

    For Windows vista -http://Windows.Microsoft.com/fr-fr/Windows-Vista/Create-and-format-a-hard-disk-partition

    For Windows 7 - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Create-and-format-a-hard-disk-partition

    I hope this helps.

  • Question about the configuration of virtual computer file and the working VM location

I noticed one of my virtual machines had two data warehouses listed under "Items" in the vSphere Client.

After some research autour, I found the virtual machine files are in the correct data store, but the 'VM-configuration file' and 'Place of work VM' are in another data store.

Can I combine all in the same database?   I'd rather have the config and the workplace on ma who has a lot of main storage.  For some reason, the configuration file and the location of work were created on a local storage on my host.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    David Moore

You can use Storage vMotion to migrate only the virtual machine configuration file to the desired location, just start the wizard of vMotion and storage step 'Select the data store', click Advanced, and you will see the option to select a new destination for the configuration file data store.
