• Recently added playlist

  The songs in my added playlist recently are not displayed. Yesterday there were 19 songs, but when I open it today it was a song. I don't know how to solve this problem.

  Smart playlists, which is what is the recently added playlist will update every time songs to respond (or not responding to the) selection criteria.   In the newly added case, its criteria are:

  • Date added is in the last 2 weeks and
  • Media type is not Podcast

  So if your songs have been added to your library, over 2 weeks ago, they'll automatically release out of this playlist.  You can change the criteria yourself if you want to extend this period, or create your own smart playlist, but looks like it does what its supposed to do.

• iTunes Store recently added missing purchases

  Since the upgrade to iTunes 12.4.1 my purchases of song/album iTunes Store is no longer appear in the list "recently added". Individual tracks are also not appearing in 'Song' registration and my iTunes game does not synchronize these purchases in any of my devices. I am referring only to purchases made since the upgrade.

  I tried logging in and on my iTunes account to "reset", but it does not work. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem?

  In fact, it turned out to be a matter of connecting to iTunes. Turning off iTunes game, quit iTunes, restart iTunes and then iTunes game (or iCould music library, I guess that) did the trick.

  You can disable or remove unwanted page extensions modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. If you don't it spot, perhaps in the appearance section?

• Cannot modify 'Recently added' to the title of the library to the list view.

  I am now using iTunes v12.4.0.119

  I chose the "recently added" to the title of the library and it seems stuck on the display of the album, I can't switch to the display of the list no matter what I do. I appreciate looking at album art, but I just can't stand the inefficiency of having all that unused space. I largely prefer a list view. I can not change anything on this playlist, less first how it is displayed.

  I hope this helps. Select 'Recently added' playlist on your sidebar, now in the menu bar go to "Display" and click on "View As"-> "Songs." Your playlist should now be displayed as a list of items. You can always switch between different views for each of your playlists.

  It is moved in the sidebar. Select the sidebar via the view menu.

• Problem with recently added after the restoration of library

  I recently had to restore the hard drive of my Macbook and have added my entire music library on my external hard drive to iTunes.

  I have all my music again, which is great, but now in the 'Library' section main iTunes is falsely list my entire as library recently added...

  which is obviously not the case. Unfortunately, at the moment, this useful feature otherwise is inaccurate and visually distracting.

  Is it possible to Edit / manage the recently added music section "library" in the same way as with the "smart playlist" added recently?

  Preferably, I would like to be able to personally manage what is considered "recent" in days, weeks, months, years, etc.

  I don't think that the Act of restoration should make me powerless to manage my content.

  For the Album, iTunes playlist has two sections. The highest is "recently added" - and the songs or albums, well, more recently added. Below, there is a complete list of all your albums, by icon.

  I do not use "Recently added." In fact, I would like to get rid of if. How can I prevent iTunes who trace "recently added"? I want just a list of albums, and that's all.

  Not exactly sure iTunes on Mac, but on Windows, the top right where you area selection where you see artists or Albums, if you tap it, you will see a checkbox for recently added. I have not found a way on my Windows computer so that it can remember this setting, but it's where you can turn it on or off.

  Why aren't my new purchases appear in my "recently added" playlist more?

  The recently added playlist is just a list of smart playlist that comes with the standard installation of iTunes.  Right-click and select Edit list smart playlist.  When I do that, I see that there are only two rules.  The first rule is that the item has been added to your library in the past two weeks (at least for my recently added playlist).  So, if it has been more than two weeks since the purchase, they would not be in the recently added playlist.
