I upgraded LR LR 4 to 5 in the past and then update to LR 5.5 to 5.7. My SSD drive is quite full and there is enough significant LR 4 files such as Lightroom_4_LS11_win_4_4. Can it be deleted from my hard drive or upgrading to LR 5 somehow relies on them?
Yes, you can remove previous versions.
but do not lose their serial number. you will need serial number of the previous version to install lr 5 in the future, if you've always wanted.

Once that a file is uploaded to iCloud drive remove it from my hard drive to free up space?
I want to free up space on the hard drive of my MacBook Pro. Once I have download on iCloud can I delete from my hard drive and still maintain a file of cloud? Another way to put it: once a file is uploaded to iCloud by car, if I remove my hard drive it will remove automatically iCloud drive?
Thank you
David Goldsmith
iCloud Drive is a synchronization service. If you delete a file from iCloud, it is removed from iCloud drive and vice versa.
It is not an effective way to free up space on your MacBook.

How onw eliminates old, deleted from the hard disk of the computer e-mail?
After that I deleted my MSN (Premium software) e-mail (inbound and outbound) emails, old e-mails are not completely deleted from my hard drive of the computer. Deleted messages still indicate a file containing the 4K bytes of space. There are about 500,000 of those email old, deleted files on my hard drive which absorb 60 Giga bytes of space. How can I completely remove these old email files from my hard drive?
You will find help and support for MSN in the MSN Solution Center, not here at Microsoft Answers. Noel

Recovery of data from a hard drive.
I have a hard drive that was used to store data (i.e. The drive D:\). Suddenly, it is not recognized as being in the format and/or I'm unable to access the data.
You can use data recovery software to restore your data from your hard drive inaccessible. The I know is Remo Recover (Windows), it's a good recovery software. It supports recovery of files from the formatted hard drive. It can also recover your partitions deleted from your hard drive.

(you may need to restart the computer)Right-click on the file you want to delete, and then click unlocker.A new window opens showing all applications using this file.Select all files, and then click on unblock. Now right-click on the file you want to delete, and then click on remove.YOUR FILE WILL BE DELETED SUCCESSFULLY.If you are still unable to delete that file and unlocker shows no application, then follow these steps-Right-click on the file you want to delete and click unlocker.A small window will appear. In the drop-down list, choose delete, and then click ok.Your file will be deleted on the next reboot of the system. -

Two points:
1. If you want to delete some installed programs, do not make
deletion of the folder they are in. That doesn't remove them only partially and
can cause problems. Remove programs by in control
Configuration/program Panel and features.2. a drive of 74 GB is a tiny disk these days. There are a number of
things you can do to save space, but they are all basically
temporary and you will soon find yourself in the same situation.
The only real solution is to buy and install a larger capacity drive.
Fortunately, they are very cheap these days; You can buy a 500GB
drive for about US $65.Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP

I have recently reinstalled Windows and IE8, but before I did, I saved all my files on an external hard drive. My computer upward and the race and then began to manually recover my files from my hard drive. Thinking that I had recovered everything what I needed/wanted, I then deleted everything on my external hard drive. Unfortunately, I forgot to copy my favorites on my computer!
Is it possible that I can get back my (old) Favorites from a previous installation of WIndows on my computer?
In addition, in recent days, I have placed thousands of files in the Recycle Bin and have deleted however, I've heard that the files that are deleted in a computer can be recovered, but I don't know how to do this. My old favorites would be there somewhere?
You can also to the above questions, Microsoft stores my old favorites anywhere in their system as my username/password? If there is anyway to recover my old favorites, I of course would like to learn to do this, because at the moment, I have no basics! Well sad really. I should have been paying attention to what I was doing!
Hi Arlywig,
Once removed the HDD data can't be recovered. However, you can use your favorite search engine to browse third-party data recovery software and use this software to recover data.
Note: software use of third parties, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.
Hope this information is useful.
