  Most people would say that if it worked, say, a couple of days and you can't even start on your LCD screen, then the screen or its cable or mobo circuit feeding the LCD failed.

  I had this on another laptop too, and Toshiba are not something so special that this kind of thing is not generally a valid diagnosis.

  2. are you able to play videos other than video .wmv successfully?
  3. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

  Method 1
  I suggest you to check if the hardware acceleration of the display device setting is too high.
  a. Click Start, click Run, type desk.cpl and then click OK.

  b. click on the settings tab and then click Advanced.

  c. click the Troubleshooting tab, and then move the hardware acceleration to none.

  d. click on apply and then click OK twice.

  e. If the problem is resolved after you move the slider hardware acceleration to none, contact the manufacturer of the graphics adapter driver to determine if there is an update that resolves this specific problem.

  Thanks for providing the dxdiag.

  To disable hardware acceleration, just add the threshold at the end of the file (mms.cfg):

  DisableHardwareAcceleration = 1

  Also, while your changes if you get an error similar to: "the file is already in use", follow the procedure; below

  1 copy the file to another location(for eg desktop)

  2. then make the necessary changes, then save the file

  3. copy the file to the original location.

  I am before a green screen using keylight. When I look at the 'Status' view in keylight, I notice a strange result that I can't solve. Inside of the massif of the matte (actor) his field of pants and shoes are filled with clear green dots. They seem to be the cause of distortion on my final rendering.

  That's what options despot in the section matte screen for. Other options include Minimax, Simple dog collar or plug-ins from third parties such as Re: fill of RevisionFX. Also take advantage of the various options to control your rollback Alpha levels.

  Since the update to MAC OS Sierra, I noticed that my screensaver activates when using FaceTime - most annoying because I have to quickly move the mouse to put it all again.

  iPhones have a proximity sensor which is supposed to automatically turn off the screen when you hold it in your face. If this is not the case you can take the phone and have it checked.

  You can change this as follows.

  Open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons".  In the new page layout, select the entry of Synaptics.

  The option you're looking for is called "Pinch Zoom" - see image below.  Remove the checkmark against this article, click on close in this window, then apply then Ok in the previous window to save this change.
