Submitted by users web app

Hello world

I need to create a webApp submitted by the user where someone types a testimony in a web form, and then when the form is sent an email is sent to a user admin who then approves the testimony by clicking 'activate' in the webapp element which then displays the testimonial on the Web site. I know you can do this "out of the box" in catalyst for business but is necessary for the form be in a secure area, as I want the form to be on a page that is not secure if possible?

Would be very grateful for any advice.

User must be connected to the web app points.

  • The submitted user Web App point release Date

    Hi guys. I'm kinda a beginner so excuse me if this seems a simple question.

    I dragged the forum and cannot find an answer to this.

    I created a Web application for the new arrivals and created the user input form in the secure area.

    I can't find a way to allow users to set the release date of the news item which, in many cases, not be the date of their entry into the information but at some point in the future.

    It doesn't seem to be a way to add the release Date for the user input form,

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Silverfox01,

    There are a handful of items that can not be updated from the entrance of the Web App / modify forms. Release date and weighing are two examples.

    There have been several requests for that lately, then you are not alone in your quest! - And expectations.

    Still no solution has yet been taken available. Please lets you create a support in British Colombia ticket so that they can get an idea of are weight and release date are to front-end web app entry/change of important forms.

    Hope that this 'help '.

  • Limits the user submitted Web Apps

    Is there a way to limit the number of times a user can send a piece of webapp? For example, a user can send an item of webapp once a week.

    I wondered if I can check the date of last users submitted web app then hide/show the form create web app in office how long the person has presented a web application.

    Has anyone tried this before? Thought I would ask before spending the time to try.

    Tips are welcome.

    Not quite what she asked Karim.

    Lynda - you can not return the form if you use module_webappcustomer to retrieve the elements, if it were a collection, you can use the features last Board just get the last, get the last date. You have the date server and you can perform a calculation on it in a liquid. If the date is less then 7 days - does not show the form but a message.

  • The feature "Display list of web app points submitted by a user" is not available in the free trial version?

    The feature "Display list of web app points submitted by a user" is not available in the free trial version? I can see it in the tutorials but its not available when I am connected.

    It is just named differently now. You should be able to add the {module_webappscustomer} module through the Toolbox Modules in the web page editor window, as shown below. Please note that the webapps function is available only for sites webCommerce. • Submitted clients web app elements without secure area?

    Is it possible to have a submissive client web app / Articles to a website without having to be installed in a secure area?

    Everything was hoping to do was to create a simple web application to testify so that customers could write a quick review, then that would be checked by a moderator and then allowed to display in a public space on the site.

    Its a big limitation with submitted if customers BC web app components cannot be displayed in a secure area.

    The only way to do it is through a workaround hack thing work that will involve some javascript relatively complex.

    When someone hits the thing that you want to submit and they not connected you must do some ajax connects effects connect them with a client of custom CRM stored with loging details (sales person). And then allow them to submit the web application without having to appear to connect but they actually are.

    Any others so it works around it.

  • Submitted clients Web App with profiles of customers with categories

    How would everyone on the creation of a Web site where customers could submit web app where the customers have a public profile that shows all of their memories, web app?

    My first thought would be to create web applications 2: a customer introduced web app points and the second for customers to create their own profile. The trick would be limiting only the profile web app for communication by the customer and list all their bids to point web app in their profile. For the client the web profile app it's because (as I'm sure most of you know) that the CRM information is not visible publicly.

    It seems that the only way to do it is to create a category for every single customer and then assign the category to each individual web app submitted by the client. It seems that there is a lot of work of the Chief Executive and perhaps some confusion.

    Is there a way to capture client web app profile ID and possibly use the item form in a hidden field on the present client web app to enable them to classify it themselves? I think the best way would be for them to do, but without being able to classify their submission under another customer accidentally.

    Is there a best way anyone has found to do this?

    Actually, on second look this Kiyuco.com tutorial only covers that allow members to change their elements of web application in a secure area, not not to view them as part of a public profile.  You should find what you are after in this forum thread I posted - Nicole de BCGurus described a good solution.

    This question has been posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.Adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/building-Web-app-visitor-submitted.html

    To save other hours in research to do this, if you want to know how to set the Expiration Date of a custom HTML Web App point presentation shape, you can do something like this:

    input type = "radio" style = "" display: none; "checked ="true"value ="2"id ="daysRB""

    input type = "text" value = "60" maxlength = "2" style = "display: inline;" Width: 25px; "id = 'Days' name = 'days '.

    You cannot set the date directly, but you can tell how many days from today, you want it to expire...

  • Presentation Web App notifications

    I would like to than system administrators (or user specific admin) to receive an email notification every time that a user submitted web app element is executed. I don't want to require the approval of the content well. Is it possible to assign a workflow or send a notification by email once a user has completed a form of web application?

    Thank you!

    Assign a lead role.

    I don't know if the notification will be requires an approval is not checked so. You will need to test this.

  • Web App point record and present functions is possible?

    I created a web application I want the user to be able to record without trigger a workflow, then go back and change the content and save again if necessary, then when all is complete submit so that it launches a workflow and web app submitted can be verified.

    This should be used for a course so that assignments can be submitted online.

    Thanks for your help

    Eamon

    To do this, is to use a form in line/update - details - form to collect and record data, they can continue to come back and update the form, you need SAR = false on the form action, if you want to stop the answering machine, and you can easily define the workflow against zero on the form itself with in the admin. The thing to note is that you must use system fields or extended CRM fields in the online form that you can not use form fields custom Web in a form of updating details. Also note that the person needs to be registered to do it all.

    the next thing is to send them to the form of submission Web App (which should be a mirror of your previous form fields) preloads all fields with their customer data and data CRM extended, configure the fields to read only so they can not make changes, do as "final review" page, then all they need to do is to hit the submit button.

    Hope this helps - Billy. P.S. Let me know if you need clarification or expansion on any of the points

  • Web App store Item produced

    Is it possible to transform an element of web application in a product from store through Automation?

    I work for an organization not-for-profit and we have a web application that allows users to submit projects that can give donors to. Once a user proposes a project and it is approved by us, it will be on our "online store". I know that we can manually create a new store, but I hope that he stays the way with BC that once a user submits a project he could automatically become a disabled product.

    Hey there,

    You can not convert a web application in a prodocut.

    If you have a seamless payment gateway you can sell the items web app themselves however. Looked at this option?

  • Out of shape at web app?

    Try to wrap my Design brain around the functionality of web application of catalyst for business so I have a few questions.  (1) I have a form called to become a reseller. I want that companies wishing to become a distributor of a product to fill out a web form. I need then the data of web form to automatically feed a web application. Is this possible?  (2) how to make a web app output data to an XML file and a block-shaped?   Example: dealer fills out form: form data collected: dealer is approved: garage data auto fills to see a list of our dealers page.   Thank you.

    Hello

    To become a reseller, you can have users fill out customer this Web App.

    (There is a way to ensure that users should not be signed in, I'll try to find the tutorial for that, but with all the adobe move, it is lost on me.) I'll link when I find it.)

    You can set the submitted web user elements app need approval, attached to a workflow. And when approved dealer is added to the list of dealers on your dealers Page.

    Hope that makes sense. Until I can find this documentation on the presentation of a web application without having to log in, you will need to get your dealers to sign up for a secured area in order to submit an element of web application. It's the only way I know how to do something like that. And I don't think that there is a way for all web application data in an output XML file. I may be wrong on this one, but enough course.

  • My web app does not work with the new version of firefox 31. It uses the heatmap.js for leaflet.js plugin to generate the plan of the temperature.

    There is heatmap.js site: http://www.patrick-wied.at/static/heatmapjs/example-heatmap-leaflet.html
    There example of layer of flyer.
    I could see after upgrading firefox to version 31 temperature map in the browser for this example. But with a previous version of firefox I could see it.

    My web app users leaflet.js and heatmap.js plugin. It users the same code as on the example page.
    After update firefox version saying "your script take too long to run. Continue? "again and again and not contains a temperature card.

    I use the folder plugin - 0.7.2.js and heatmap - 1.0.js for brochure.

    Seems to work here.

    You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

    You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

    Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • Editing Web App - demand payment? And limited to certain fields.

    I have a web app created by my client. These are listed on the site and visitors to my client can 'book' an element. After an item is reserved for the customer completes the sale offline process to complete the sale.

    Currently, this is done manually using a web forms with payment. When payment is received my client is going in and marked as reserved element of web application. I would like to automate this process...

    To automate it, I think that I can add a field to the form of edition and once they make the payment, the item will be reserved. I have not actually tried to insert a form of payment in a publishing page layout. Which will work?

    Assuming this works, I have another concern. Each Web app has fields 70 or so custom element. Many of these custom fields are for internal use and should not be available for the customer to see or change. If I have a change and the list only form fields I want the customer to be able to change it will erase the other fields. (I know I could hide the other fields in the edit form that the customer sees, but I prefer to keep completely hidden fields if possible).

    This explains, someone has some ideas or ideas to manage such a situation?

    Thank you!

    Hello Lynda,

    The webapp associated forms use a different .aspx treatment of active payment webforms, I fear that you will not be able to create a form of editing form to process payments online.

    In Exchange, you can collect payments using a form enabled for the classic payment and using JS just after the form of payment, you can trigger the modification of webapp form is submitted.

    There are some obvious drawbacks to this Setup, such as: you can't wait to see if the payment goes through trigger the webapp change form when the payment process is complete for example. Another disadvantage is that the process is not wise, that a visitor to the site can just trigger the webapp change form "manually" bulletproof security.

    I hope this helps.

  • Customers Web App does not not inside another Web application?

    I have a web application, in this web app detail page, I have a form. I want to take the URL of another article of web app (completely different web application), we introduced the user connected, and insert it into the form.

    I tried to use the following code:

    {module_webappscustomer id = "34977" filter = 'all' resultsPerPage = "1" hideEmptyMessage = "true" sortType = "date" collection = "Summary" template =""}

    {% for r % resume.items}

    View my RESUME online at: example.com {{r.url}}

    {% endfor}

    When the page loads, it inserts the URL of the current detail page, I'm.

    For example:

    It must be returned: example.com/job-seeker/my-resume

    but he makes: example.com/job-posting/job-post-title

    Is this a bug or is at - there a way around this problem?

    I found a work around taking my code {module_webappscustomer... and put it inside an inclusion.} Insert the include instead of the code and it works fine.

  • Anyone can send a web app article

    Hello

    I do a page where anyone can send a recording of withput point web app. Is there a way I can do?

    Here's the idea:

    Create a CRM record to an anon user and password of Anon Note name: you don't need to subscribe the user to a secure area.

    Then use javascript. When the person clicks send run the following AJAX:

    $.ajax({)

    type: 'POST',

    URL: "/ ZoneProcess.aspx?" ZoneID = 1 & Username = Password = anon & anon',.

    Async: true,

    beforeSend: function() {},

    success: function() {},

    complete: function() {}

    The Web App form

    }

    });

    And then to full web application form you submit.
