Substantive issue, thanks in advance!

For more investigation.

I have now 3 columns.  Because I wanted to be a pest at the bottom of the page to inswert 120 x 120, I created a set of pictures cropped color blocks or studio photos... This is actually a beautifully designed thing.  The blocks perfectly in them.

But this sort of caused a question 'low '.  I had to change the width of my columns above (hehe)

So my gradient in the middle column background... is being confined to the edges of the cell.

The cell is 360 pixels wide.  The gradient background is 400 pixels wide... I want to get the gradient to cross the left and right sides of other cells limiting.

Is this possible?

Thank you very much.

Another idea is to add the white of the image itself, not of the cultures and then apply it to the background, to deceive dreamweaver thinking there are a lot of white, which will always show the gradient of color that I need in the right place.

Yes, if this is the desired effect.

Unless there is an easier way to do this?

Easier is not always better.  Gradient CSS level 3 property has limited support of the browser. To date, this method only works in WebKit & Mozilla based browsers.
