Suite CS5 update, re-installed problems

A suite CS5 on my old computer. He just died a horrible (loud) death in such a way that it does not start and could not be repaired. Could not find information on the transfer of a licence in these circumstances, so I installed it on my Windows 10 new machine. Install seemed to work fine, but when I tried to pick up the old updates I ran into trouble. There are a lot of updates, but all have failed with the message "there was an error downloading this update. Please stop and try again". That did not work. Managed to find someone on chat that has checked the serial number and said it was fine, but she referred me here. You are not sure if this is related to the Windows 10, or the age of CS5, but if updates are still out there and he finds them, I shouldn't be able to apply? The programs themselves do not seem to be affected by Windows 10, at least so far.

    Each license transfer requires to go through the procedures. There are no shortcuts. Sale of upgrade versions requires to include all previous qualifying products.

    Hello - I am new to this forum, so please forgive me if my question is somehow out of line.  I need to update Adobe Photoshop CS5.  Bought for the use of the company in 2011 (purchased in DVD format).  I recently installed on a new computer (iMac El Captain 10.11.1 running).  I downloaded Adobe Photoshop 12.0.4 updated for Adobe Photoshop CS5, but when I run it, I get error "update is not applicable."  Impossible to contact customer service - seems the forums are my only hope.   Thank you.

    Creative suite Adobe CS 5 is a very old software and the operating system you are using is the most recent, so there may be compatibility issues that adobe has not tested these applications on newer operating systems.

    3. What is the version of Windows installed on the computer?

    I suggest that you reset the Windows Update components and check.

    If fails it above step I suggest you check in the history of update or details about the failure of updates and post back with the details.

    View update history to know which update is not installing.

    (a) open Windows Update by clicking Start , all programsand then click Windows Update.

    (b) in the left pane, click view update history.

    (c) to view more information about an update, double-click it.

    I got a license for creative suite cs5, just bought a mac os x 10.11 book 'el capitan', downloaded more on adobe.com and when I try to open the installation program can't open it and it gives the following message "'Install' is damaged and you must move it to the trash.

    This error message is a bit misleading. What happened is that CS5 that was issued before the "custodian" is not "signed" and installation is blocked because it is considered to be "unreliable".

    Solution: Temporarily set to "Everywhere" and then open the dmg file.

    I know it's late, but I just encountered this problem even after you have reinstalled cs5 on OS X 10.11

    Manual updates did not work, but I found this link to update the update manager that solved the problem:

    I'm having trouble installing the creative suite cs5.5 on my mac. I used the link to the adobe site and download the installer, but when I try to jot pen to actually download the suite it does not. I tried several times and it never works. I had more on my computer before, but my computer crashed and I lost the programs so I'll try to get back them. I have the key to license and all ready but I can't get the installer to open and download the suite. I checked the system requirements and I am sure that I have everything, so I don't know why it does not work.  What should I do?
