  So I have a Toshiba Satellite L650 - 1 M 8 Mobile and last year, I bought and downloaded Minecraft for play.

My hard drive died, I just buy a new one and I would like to install the operating system (xp) and all the necessary driver. Until a few months ago, I was able to download all the drivers, now my laptop seems not to exist more... Am I wrong? Could someone provide me with all the drivers? • Impossible to update the display drivers for Satellite L650

  I have L650 and AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470.
  First of all, I wanted to update my drivers Toshiba program showing that this driver is old. OK, I downloaded, install and then, months later, window pop-up, this driver is always old. I did it again and I noticed that the driver is not updated at all.

  So I went to the ATI site, and there I discovered that the latest drivers for my card there but they will not work with Toshiba. Weird is, I tried anyway, they don't work.
  So I went to Toshiba site and start downloading AMD, each of them display drivers. None of them worked: errors or 'installation complete', but nothing works. I tried other sites with drivers for my model. Resut: Nope, once again.

  Finally, I found the most up-to-date drivers for my Radeon, from Toshiba Web site... from 2011. Is this some kind of joke? Why can't I have the drivers updated just because it is Toshiba? Why Toshiba is not updated their drivers, when the software they gave me with the laptop gives me alerts that my drivers are outdated.

  It seems that Toshiba provides special and changed graphics cards drivers that have been specially designed for mobile use. These drivers support a kind of protection which is important since s graphic portable units are equipped with large modules of cooling the overheating.

  However, there is a solution to install the page ATI original drivers, but the use of these drivers is at your own risk. You need to download the driver package that contains the dll and ini files.

  Then you should be able to update the driver through Device Manager by using the Advanced installation procedure which allows to point to the folder that contains the mentioned dll and ini files.

  In any case, you need laptop with factory settings, preinstalled original Win7 64 bit? What graphics card has your laptop? ATI or Intel? What version is older than the version preinstalled on your laptop via Satellite?
  Your model of laptop is more recent and all the drivers, that you got in the recovery image are essentially the same as drivers on the Toshiba download page. So I think t is old version proposed by Toshiba.
  For example, if you have the graphics card Intel initially we version 8.15.10.2086, the same as on the download page.
  Can you confirm this?

  The SATA drivers are part of the Intel AHCI storage controller.
  The storage controller driver Intel AHCI Matrix can be downloaded from the Intel page.
  You should know the chipset of your laptop.
  AFAIK the L650-11F supports the Chipset Mobile Intel HM55 Express.

  I have one of my games and Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic) needs me to set specific options for OpenGL.   Recently replaced the HARD drive and loaded to the top of W8.1. My wife was not impressed. I started W7, but this has been removed and the driver of the object. I'm unable to located on the Toshiba download page, and as I don't know what kind of network controller, is, I am unable to get it is through other means. The model is PSK1JA.

  As far as I know for Satellite L650 exist no high capacity batteries but only one original with capacity 4400mAh.

  Do not use other batteries which are not compatible to your laptop model and this largest battery does not fit into your laptop.

  What you should try is to reduce power consumption. Use the power saver Power plan. Reduce the brightness of the display, close all unnecessary applications and disable all devices that you don't need.
