  TLF is just the underlying text support. For more information on using TLF buttons, I would say looking at Flex Gumbo, if you are a user of Flex and post questions on their forum. Peter deHaan has some blogs that may also be useful.

  Hello!

  I have to lean to the right languages left in my application, but I can't find any information how to make some right-aligned UI controls:

  • Title bar;
  • Drop-down list;
  • SystemPrompt;
  • StandardListItem.

  They are all the interface controls user base for BlackBerry 10 and I can't believe that they have no support for RTL. Someone has ideas how to do press for RTL for these controls instead of creating custom controls?

  Support RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) is now in CS6 products. At the bottom of the Apps & Services page for the creative cloud (https://creative.adobe.com/apps) is a link http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tech-specs.htmltechnical specification. If you then click on the link of an individual product like InDesign (http://www.adobe.com/products/indesign/tech-specs.html), you'll see this a TEC Spec.

  To access these languages download the Adobe Application Manager from the Apps & Services page. At the top left, you'll see your name. Click your name, and in the context menu choose Preferences. Choose the desired installation language. See screenshot:

  From what I can tell, none of the major controls are supported a RTL layout.  Really, you have two options:

  -Living with everything you are looking for evil in RtL languages

  -Create your own custom controls that support the LTR and RTL layout modes

  (Considering how popular BlackBerry 10 currently is in the countries of the Middle East, I am frankly surprised that they do not have a lot of effort in the RTL support yet.)

  I need to enter (spark) TextArea scrolling to appear depending on the writing language.

  IE: scrolling to the RIGHT in LTR languages and scrolling to the LEFT in RTL languages.

  For now, it looks like the scrolling is hard coded to be right.

  I did some research and found the suggestion of how to get a similar thing in Sparks lists (the s:Scroller in the skin class to s:VScrollBar), but in this way, that scrolling is permanent, and I need the smooth scrolling in the behavior of textArea - this wheel is added only when the text overflows the size.

  Flex 4.1 adds better support for RTL languages. Then, you should be able to set the direction and the layoutDirection style, as seen in the following example:

  If the language is entirely right to left, then you could try:
  (1) using a special font, where all characters are reversed
  (2) reversing the text sprite in which the characters are displayed.

  If it's a language such as Arabic, where letters go from right to left and the numbers go from left to right... and you need allow users to enter numbers, this solution does not work.

  I uninstalled InDesign CS6 and when I tried to install it back in the Adobe Application Manager I don't see. Instead, there were CC available InDesign. So I install it. However the CS6 InDesign I have to support RTL languages such as Arabic and Hebrew. I need for certain projects that are still under construction.

  Now, to my surprise, InDesign CC have no such thing. I do not know I did something wrong, but I do not understand what.

  File rtl120.bpl Embarcadero Technologies and is installed on your system to third party such as software packages:

  AVG (their component PC Analyzer)
  TuneUp Utilities
  Advanced System Care (ASC)
  IOBit Malware Fighter Pro

  For example, if you have installed Advanced System Care and rtl120.bpl file that is installed with it goes missing, the message may look like this:

  ASC.exe - Unable to locate component
  This application has failed to start because rtl120.bpl not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
