Support of the functions of the table...

Hello:

Developer SQL supported SQL as below with the table of functions that return nested tables...

Select * from TABLE (CSSGLOBAL. EMPDIV('454424'))

I get error ORA-00902 invalid data type

I'm on the Sql Developer 1.5.3

Thanks - Yesh

Try:

select *
  from TABLE(CAST CSSGLOBAL.EMPDIV('454424') AS my_table_type)

Where my_table_type is the user-defined type of table as CSSGLOBAL. EMPDIV returns.
If CSSGLOBAL. EMPDIV returns a PL/SQL table type that is not defined for the database with code like:

CREATE TYPE my_row_type AS OBJECT (my_col1 VARCHAR2(30), my_col2 NUMBER(10,0) ...);
CREATE TYPE my_table_type AS TABLE OF my_row_type;

then you have to re - write this way - SQL does not include PL/SQL tables.

  • By using the impl class for functions on a table

    I'm looking for a bit of advice on best practices.

    I have an app with 35 paintings.  I need to have a button "reset comes out" on each table.

    Each resetSort method should specify the table and the specific iterator.

    I tried to not having all the functions of 35 in the bean to support (1 for each table).

    Can I bind each table has associated feature class impl and each resetSort button call a method in this class?

    I use jdev 11.1.1.6.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Then your real mission is to find the table for which the use wants to put sorting by pressing a button?

    This should be doable with the bean and a function that you bind to each of the reset buttons that you use for your tables.

    If your presentation is for the tables and the button to reset sorting, you can use an actionListener to the button. In the event of action, with the knowledge of the layout, it is easy to get to the table and once you have the table that you get the iterator from the table.

    Assuming that your tables are always surrounded by a panelCollection, who owns a toolbar now your reset button

    emptyText = "#{bindings." EmployeesView.viewable? "{'No data to display.': 'Access Denied.'}".

    fetchSize = "#{bindings." EmployeesView.rangeSize}' rowBandingInterval = '0 '.

    selectedRowKeys = ' #{bindings. " EmployeesView.collectionModel.selectedRow}.

    selectionListener = "#{bindings." RowSelection EmployeesView.collectionModel.makeCurrent}"="single"id ="t1">

    You can use this code actionListener

    {} public void resetSort (ActionEvent actionEvent)

    get the link container

    BindingContainer links is BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();.

    DCBindingContainer dcBindings = (DCBindingContainer) links;

    UIComponent toolbar (UIComponent) = actionEvent.getSource ();

    Try to get the source of the event table

    assuming that the button is in a toolbar of a panelCollection we get using parent.parent.children

    List of children of = toolbar.getParent () .getParent () .getChildren ();

    Table richeTableau = null;

    for (UIComponent uic: children) {}

    If (uic instanceof richeTableau) {}

    table = uic (richeTableau);

    break;

    }

    }

    If (table! = null) {}

    the model in the Collection is the object that provides the

    structured data

    for the table to render

    CollectionModel tableModel = (CollectionModel) table.getValue ();

    the purpose of the ADF that implements the CollectionModel is

    JUCtrlHierBinding. It is surrounded by the CollectionModel API

    JUCtrlHierBinding adfTableBinding = (JUCtrlHierBinding) tableModel.getWrappedData ();

    Acess the ADF, which is used with iterator

    ADF table binding

    DCIteratorBinding iterBind = adfTableBinding.getDCIteratorBinding ();

    table.queueEvent (new SortEvent (table, new ArrayList()));

    CurrentRow key = null;

    Line = iterBind.getCurrentRow ();

    If (line! = null)

    currentRow = row.getKey ();

    SC SortCriteria [] = new SortCriteria [0];

    iterBind.applySortCriteria (sc); iterBind is that the table iterator use

    iterBind.executeQuery ();

    If (currentRow! = null)

    iterBind.setCurrentRowWithKey (currentRow.toStringFormat (true));

    }

    }

    This code looks for the table of the source of the action, which is the button in the toolbar, get the tabel. Once you have the table you get the iterator from the table and reset the sort. This works as long as we find the source of the action table. If you always use the same layout for tables (for example. panelCollection > table), which is a practice of good uix, you have need of a bean to reset all tables. Simply link the toolbar button actionListner to the listener in the bean.

  • Calibration error SMU-4141 niDCpower version 1.8, "calibration function is not supported by the device."

    Dear Sir.

    Nice to meet you.

    When I run the SMU-4141 "Adjust voltage Leve.vi niDCPower Cal" calibration function niDCpower version 1.8.

    It shows an error "function of calibration is not supported by the device." (false cae)

    But if I run the calibration function SMU-4141 "niDCPower Cal Adjust voltage Measurement.vi", (real deal)

    It will work.

    See attachments.

    Hi Peter,.

    The calibration process indicates that the call of the function of voltage adjust NI - DCPower Cal calibrates both the output level of the device as well as the ability to measure of the device.  It is even for the Cal of NOR-DCPower function adjust a current measurement.

    You must perform a calibration automatic on the device prior to the initial audit of the device, before the adjustment process and before the final verification process.

    I'm not sure I understand your question very well.  Please let me know if I have not responded sufficiently.

    How to use the values of the input variables on the table select statement names?

    Hello

    Here's a way you can use dynamic SQL statements for this task:

    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION IS_YDAYDATA_TO_TABLE

    (

    in_schema IN VARCHAR2,

    in_tablename IN VARCHAR2,

    in_datefield IN VARCHAR2,

    in_first_date DATE DEFAULT SYSDATE - 1,.

    in_last_date DATE by DEFAULT NULL

    )

    RETURNS INTEGER

    AS

    -IS_YDAYDATA_TO_TABLE returns 1 if in_schema.in_tablename.in_datefield

    -contains all the dates in the in_first_date of the range through included in_last_date

    - and it returns 0 if there is no such lines.

    -If in_last_date is omitted, the search only the data on in_first_date.

    -If in_first_date is omitted, it defaults to yesterday.

    -Time parts of the in_first_date and in_last_date are ignored.

    -Declaring variables

    sql_txt VARCHAR2 (1000);

    v_is_true INTEGER.

    BEGIN

    sql_txt: = 'SELECT COUNT (*).

    || 'FROM ' | in_schema | '.' || in_tablename

    || 'WHERE ' | in_datefield | ' > =: d1'

    || «AND» | in_datefield | '< >

    || 'AND ROWNUM = 1';

    dbms_output.put_line (sql_txt |) '= sql_txt in IS_YDAYDATA_TO_TABLE");  -For debugging

    Sql_txt EXECUTE IMMEDIATE

    IN v_is_true

    With the HELP of TRUNC (in_first_date) - d1

    TRUNC (NVL (in_last_date

    in_first_date

    )

    ) + 1                -- d2

    ;

    RETURN v_is_true;

    END is_ydaydata_to_table;

    /

    DISPLAY ERRORS

    If you must use dynamic SQL statements, put all the SQL statement in a single string variable, such as sql_txt in the example above.  In this way, you can easily see exactly what will be executed.  Comment out the call to dbms_output under test is completed.

    Try to write functions that will address not only the question that you have now, but similar questions that you may have in the future.  For example, now that interest you only to the verification of the data of yesterday, but later, you might want to check another day or range of days.  The above function combines the convenience of a function simple (looks like yesterday data if you don't tell him otherwise) with the power of a more complex function (you can use the same function to check any day or range of days).

    I would like to connect with the database instead of "writing" all the tables in the bearings inside the Jquery page

    This is usually done with a CMS (content management system). There are commercial products CMS like WordPress, Joomla and perch. You create one or several layouts and then create pages of these page layouts using the CMS. In this way, it is possible to have hundreds of pages, each with unique content, but a page layout that can be managed in a place of sharing.

    CMSs on shelf don't require programming skills. Otherwise, some of us write our own CMS with custom functions, but this requires back-end, as with PHP programming.

  • Name of the table as parameter of function

    Hi all

    can someone help me with the below question...

    I have a function like this:

    * create or replace *.
    * the 'IL_SUM_AVG_FN' function return number is *.

    * the cursor c1 is *.
    * Select sum_avg_val value *.
    * from wel_10_tab *.
    * where type = '1'; **
    * number of v_sum; **
    * number of v_count; **
    * BEGIN *.
    * v_sum: = 0; **
    * v_count: = 0; **
    * for i looped c1 *.
    * if v_count = 0 then *.
    * v_sum: = i.value; *
    * other *.
    * v_sum: = abs (i.value + v_sum); **

    * end of loop; **
    * return v_sum; **
    * END; **

    now my requirement is like... I want to pass a value as a parameter to the function... say I'll or11 10 or 12
    then he should change the table name in the cursor according to the parameter.i.e
    If the setting is 10, it should be: select sum_avg_val value in wel_10_tab where type = '1';
    If the setting is 11 it should be: select sum_avg_val value in wel_11_tab where type = '1';
    If the parameter is 12, you must: select sum_avg_val value in wel_12_tab where type = '1';

    parameter only has these three possible values...
    How to get there?
    Help, please...

    Sybrand already showed you how to manage the setting if you look at its code.

    You need the dynamic sql statements because you can't pass the names of tables in pl/sql standard.
    His example has dynamic sql.

    So now you must only adapt to your needs.

    Default you may have a separate slider for each table name and choose the cursor based on the name of the table that is passed.

    Those are your only 2 realistic options at this stage.

  • Get the ID of the table to zoom before (javascript functions)

    I want to implement custom drill downs. When you click on a column to dig, it uses the following javascript function: Basanta (saw_5_6, 0, 0) where in this case, "saw_5_6" is my current table. Because it is defined dynamically and can change the name of the table, is there a property that I can get the name of the table from?

    I see where the object is created. (I might add dynamically)
    Window.saw_5_6 = new Object();
    saw_5_6.sJSObjName = "saw_5_6";

    I was wondering if there is a way / property that gives me this information so you can call RTDr() and provide the name of the correct table.

    Thank you.

    If there is only one table in the page then you can use my function as it is. I wrote it to implement custom writeback. Of course you can modify it to get all the objects in the table.

    function getSawTableObject(){
         var ptrSawTableObjectName = /saw_.\d/;
         var obj = null;
         for (var propertyName in window){
              if ((ptrSawTableObjectName).exec(propertyName) && String(propertyName).charAt(0) == 's'){
                   obj = window[propertyName];
                   break;
              }
         }
         return obj
    }

  • Count when the boolean function is true / complete the table

    Hi all

    I think that this is a task fairly easy, but for some reason, I can't get it to work.

    The problem is explained below:

    I have 3 slider that gives either 0,1,2. I have a button "next" which is actually a Boolean button. Every time I click on the 'next' button, I want the values of the scabbard 3 (0,1,2) to go into a table. The array index is decided by how many times I clicked on the button "next". Basically if I click Next the first time, the values should go to the 0th row, when I clicked on the second time, he should go to the first line, etc... This should continue to happen until I click on the button stop, when it should display the table populated with its index corresponding to me.

    I tried to use a program for a Boolean County who continually keeps count how many times I pressed the next button. But this loop continues indefinitely. Otherwise, it starts from 0. I don't know how to do it well.

    The program is presented here with comments.

    Help, please

    Gayatri

    You should really use a structure of the event.  Keep the table in a shift register and simply use table build to y to add whenever the next value change event will occur.  Have another event for the stop button.

    I have a work around for this bug to Oracle.  I have a version in 037 sample that actually works and that will sort the field date.  I'm ready to download a copy to replace the download version that is there if Oracle is listening.  The sample was there 5 years ago so it is regrettable that this bug still exists.

    That's what I did

    create beans with custom queryListener

    On the table

    change

    queryListener = "#{bindings.allEmployeesQuery.processQuery} '"

    TO

    queryListener = "#{queryListenerBean.processQuery} '"

    Add an additional field to the line which is a long value of the Date column.   In the queryListener I change the input filter on the value of long type instead of the date value.

    I do not display the column containing the value of long (time) in the table, but she must appear in the binding of the tree. (shuttles to the right)

    In the listener query

    • Read the filter value Date and read the value of time full, clear the value of the filter date
    • long time set in the filter
    • Run the query by call of the listener of the original request #{bindings.allEmployeesQuery.processQuery}
    • Set the date value to the value entered by the user
    • erase the value of long type

    Here is the code

    {} private void processQuery (QueryEvent queryEvent)

    Table richeTableau = (RichTable) queryEvent.getComponent ();

    FilterableQueryDescriptor filterQD = (FilterableQueryDescriptor) table.getFilterModel ();

    Card filterCriteria = filterQD.getFilterCriteria ();

    Date dt = (Date) filterCriteria.get ("hireDate");

    time of to of subject Date and filter on hireDateLong instead of column hireDate column

    containing the value of long type of date instead of the Date

    If (dt! = null) {}

    TM long = dt.getTime ();

    filterCriteria.put ("hireDateLong", tm);

    filterCriteria.put ("hireDate", null); This must be null or will not work

    }

    DCBindingContainer bc = (DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    Object execBinding = bc.findExecutableBinding ("allEmployeesQuery");

    does not perform a cast of the class internal oracle but another technique guided under

    does not work with POJO data control

    run the filter

    (ExecBinding) .processQuery (queryEvent) (FacesCtrlSearchBinding);

    This will fail

    invokeQueryEventMethodExpression ("#{bindings.allEmployeeesQuery.processQuery}",)

    restore the value of the filter if he continues to display in the QBE bar

    filterCriteria.put ("hireDate", dt);

    filterCriteria.put ("hireDateLong", null);

    }

  • Save the result of the functions of the MDGS in the table

    I build a model like the k-way clustering in the MDGS. I need to record number of cluster in the table. How can I?
    and then I put this building to automatically run all week?

    If you want to store the results in a table, create a node 'Create table '. To connect to the cluster use the node to the node "Create table". Be sure to include the PK attribute in the output, in addition to the attributes created by the algorithm of clusters. Then all you need will be in the table.

    If you click right on the node to apply it there is an option to deploy on the menu drop down. Select this option and save it to the Clipboard. Open something like Notepad and paste. You will get the code necessary to run the cluster. You will need to make some changes to this code to make it work automatically.

    I have a couple of posts on Clustering and a little more to come in the coming weeks. Discover them at the
