Switching power supply issue 301 RSS

Hello

So I have a podcast on the iTunes store, which currently has a feedburner feed and pulling the MP3s from an Amazon AWS account.

All episodes are now also hosted on SoundCloud so I want the iTunes and Feedburner, feed to point to the SoundCloud RSS like this will obviously save me money on my AWS account.

I added the tag to my current xml, but before I download that for the server that both iTunes and feedburner watch I don't know there is something else I need to do, like set up a 301 (which I do not know how!)

I'm also not 100% on this wise backend operation.  When someone accesses the old RSS feed it will just point their SoundCloud RSS as well which means that all future episode downloads and will come from there?  Then I can remove the current episodes of AWS and only add new to SoundCloud?

Thank you very much

If the iTunes store using the Feedburner and streams that feed pulls its information from another stream. and you want to change the original feed to another as the Soundcloud food, you don't need to enter the new-feed-url or 301 redirects. All you need to do is tell Feedburner to use the stream from Soundcloud. So the next time that the bank check supply - usually a few days or more - she sees news feed via Feedburner.

The new-feed-url method is necessary only when the flow of the iTunes Store is actually being used needs to be changed. A 301 redirect behaves in the same way, but is only possible when you have control of the server. If you add the new-feed-url tag to flows that FeedBurner is currently using it will redirect the store and all the subscribers of the Feedburner feed and streams referenced in the tag. You should not add this tag (or delete if you added it) If you want to go on the use of Feedburner.

If the Feedburner feed is currently using a food to which you are happy to continue to use, all you need to do is change the URL to the media file of each episode to the new URL. This also applies if the current stream is built directly in Feedburner.

Each episode must (although she can't) contain a "guid" tag which is a unique identifier for the episode. If you move to another stream that you if possible keep the same tags 'guid' to your episodes, although very likely you will not have sufficient control to do this. In this case, your subscribers will see old episodes as a new episode and might well find themselves download again, according to their parameters. There is no way round this if the 'guid' tags have changed.

You shouldn't remove anything of AWS until you are sure that the store has evolved to the use of flow Feedburner modified. If you add a new episode to the modified food, but not to the former, which appears in the store (not only for subscribers) as soon as you are sure to close the AWS account.

  • G4 MDD power supply Issue

My MDD was recently stop only two or three minutes after a cold start. The power led lights up, the gray screen with the Apple logo appears with the spinning wheel, but then the machine suddenly loses power as if the power cord was disconnected. These are the things I've already tried:

    1. Removed the PRAM Battery
    2. Disconnected all devices except the keyboard and the monitor
    3. Tried a different power cord

Start in safe mode did not help. The fans are all running, the red LED lights on the logic board and disk drives seem to work. This could be a power supply issue or a problem with the motherboard and is it possible that I can definitely identify the problem without being able to start the G4? The startup time has been considering more when everything worked last week, would that be a clue? I've owned this machine for more than twelve years and it put to the test so I wonder if it's time to retire him.

    Hello

In my opinion, you should first check if the power adapter is not a malfunction.
If the AC adapter would work properly, then the battery might not be charged and the battery led not turn to blue because the battery is not fully charged.

I would recommend so check the AC adaptor first.
Of course this is only my personal opinion and I could be wrong too

  • 3010 - 3 bad switching power supply

We have 20 Optiplex 3010, bought in 2012.
I recently had the power out in 3 separate units, on a space of 2 months.

Anyone has an idea why a diet would go out and why so many of them would be? (There is no light, when I push the test button)

Is that what I can do to fix a power supply? Is there a fuse in the power supply? Some power supplies in older computers have a fuse, but I do not have a fuse in it.

    Thank you

    Doug

Honestly, I'd say a normal wear and tear or bad luck?  I have a brand new power SUPPLY Corsair PSU in my computer custom-made who started making noise and its only 4 months :-(

Regarding the fuses etc, if it doesn't have them it would be HIGHLY recommended to just replace the PSU because no user is fixable in these power supplies.  They are slapped together and as cheap as possible, but it may be possible to replace them.  Sometimes the fuses are covered with a plastic/rubber sleeve so that they can be hidden (from some of the ones I've seen).  Just be sure that the capacitors are drained of power and the power supply died worldwide before tinkering with it beyond.

  • Please help me with the video card and power supply issues!

Hello and thanks in advance for any help. I'll try and do a short explanation, but I can't promise anything. I bought an a6620f Pavilion about 2 months ago I didn't know that you had to purchase a special hardware in order to play video games. In any case, I bought about 300.00 worth of new video games and none of them works. they say because of my video card. Then try to buy a new video card and it won't work because I only have a 250 watt power supply. I spoke with a hp technician before you buy a PSU and I was told that my motherboard was only designed to use a 300 watt max power I tried to buy one at best buy and the clerk said 4500 is the smallest they sell. and I need at least a 400 Watt or powerrsupply to make the new video card with a value of buyiong. My questuion is what can I do if I can't buy one more big power supply how can I install a new video casrd? Please help me I'm lost

    Hi chefinomaha,

Sorry to hear about your frustration. Here's some good news.

I think you have been misinformed or there was a communication error. Your motherboard should not be limited to the only 300W. I don't know with certainty how high you can go in watts, but you can go higher and should go higher, if you add a video card.

The important thing is to get the right kind of diet that fits your connectors.

    Here's your motherboard page.

Here is a document with step-by-step instructions and video for adding a video card.

Here is a document with the video to replace the power supply.

  • Acer Aspire 7750 G power supply Issue

    Hello

I have a recurring problem with my Apire 7750 G - while the laptop is turned on and the charger is connected, the battery charge for 5 minutes and then both the power light and seeing the flashing battery and load stops. If I disconnect the charger and plug it in again, the battery starts charging again but stops again in 30 seconds, with the same problem.

I just want to know what is the cause of this problem, as its very frustrating indeed. The laptop will charge very well while turned off. I can use the laptop for about 1 hour on battery fully charged, so I don't think it's a problem with the battery. Can someone shed light on this please?

    Thank you.

Hard to tell from a distance. Could be the loosening of a screw, a bracelet of ground or metal leaves touching a record of the Board of Directors, a misaligned or not completely seated connector, - any number of possibilities. If it was mine, I remove the back cover and closely check in the vicinity of the power plug, tighten the screw, re-seat all accessible connectors like the fan on the CPU - some systems detect fan connectivity issues and power down even if the temperature is not enough high to trigger active cooling. Use your good judgment and common sense in the search of inside things that aren't quite right.

  • Compaq Presario CQ50-110EM power supply issue

    Hello

I have the laptop above and, recently, it wouldn't boot, I discovered that it was due to a faulty memory.  As I have 2 slots memory (1 GB of RAM in each), I decided to order a new module of memory 2 GB RAM and just use working memory.

However (I have not yet rceivedthe new RAM) since this problem my laptop is currently not supported.  The adapter does not witness charge LED and when mobile I take out the battery and try to start it just via the adapter it does not.

After searching for the official HP troubleshooting tips everyone ended up with "you must buy a new adapter" which I ordered now.  However, since she told me it might actually be the power socket on the laptop that is the issue and that it is welded oto the motherboard I had an enormous cost.

Anyone had the same problems as me?  Might the matter to be able to be linked to the question of memory?  The laptop is only 18 months, and if the memory slot and power went on the motherboard I certainly don't buy Compaq again!

Problem solved was fortunately just the power adapter.

I left it on charge for a few hours and nothing, I tried to use it without battery and nothing husband checked plug fuse is fine.

    Can someone please help?
    Thank you

    > Don't know what to do next.
I'm afraid there is not much you can do about Mr. always is your laptop's hardware problem. On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what it is. I can't say for sure, but I assume the electronic power pack is a troublemaker.

Now, all you can do is contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They have special diagnostic tools and can check what the problem is here.

  • Lenovo 3000 N100 power supply Issue (can not be powered by AC adapter)

I apologize in advance if this is something that has been covered here before. I searched and could not find anything.

My laptop was working fine up until this morning when I woke up.  Which is normally green power light was orange.  I turned on the computer and it worked as usual, except that it was with batteries despite being connected.  I was able to use the laptop until the battery is dead. Now the power light blinks orange when the AC adapter is plugged in and is off when the laptop is not plugged.

I am sure that this is not a battery problem and the adapter itself is brand new (I bought it only two weeks ago) and seems completely in good condition.  I know that this is not a problem with my surge protector, which works very well for other devices. My opinion completely non expert, not technical, is that there is an internal problem where the adapter connects to the laptop.

    Any thoughts?

If you feel able to disassemble the laptop yourself,
It is possible to check it out.
If this isn't the case, find a competent computer repairman.
The Jack is a cable, so isn't a major problem to replace,
Unlike some that are soldered to the motherboard.

Here are some videos of disassembly:

  • (Redirected) Place 11 pro Dell power supply issue

    Hi supports,

I recently have a problem, when the machine come sleep automatically or press the power button a times, the machine doesn't have to wake up. Pressing once, machine vibrating, pressing home page, it vibrates too, but does not not in the following seconds.

Pressing the power button for the other 3 seconds it vibrates, I think that it is a power on action, but it takes about 20 seconds to the account indicated by the dell logo, compared with 2-3 seconds before. It will then start normally, just Can not sleep.

When I go into Device Manager, it shows an exclamation point on the management engine intel, showing a status_device_power_failure error. See my screen below Cap

I have updated my machine, can not help

I ran the diagnostic test at the start, no problem

I format and reinstall a new 8.1 victory, still a problem

installed the latest firmware, bios, drivers shown on the dell support page, no luck.

management engine intel installed provided by intel, does not work neither.

Seems this product only is not supported in my region (HK) yet, I can't find any local support to help me.

    Help, please. Thank you ~ ~ ~

  • Satellite X 200-219 and power supply Issue

About 2 weeks ago, my adapter has stopped working, I know its a problem with that and not a fatal outcome with the laptop.

I know that I can buy one from here, but I really don't want to pay for one when I could ask a.
I have a 1 year with Toshiba warranty which has run-out and also purchased 3 years extended warranty with the Comet UK.
I was wondering if the adapter is covered on warranty toshiba or the comet.

    Any help would be appreciated.
Bought a laptop from May 2008.
Extended warranty expires in May 2011.
Budget is pretty tight at the moment, otherwise I would have already bought for £80 of toshiba.

In my view AC adapter is covered by Toshiba and you should contact or visit nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer and clarify this here.
They can answer all of your questions and also help with ordering new parts.

  • Replacement of power supply Acer M3985

Hi guys, my acer M3985 just food fried last week I need your advice what power supply should I choose I do not know if a high quality such as corsair or other brands would fit... any ideas what should I do?

Your proposed replacement seems fine to me (assuming that it meets the requirements of power as noted finlux - more power = less stress). Your current power be 300W or 500W according to specification. The image of newegg shows the power supply upside. In Acer, there the fan down and the outlet to the left. Switch POWER supply power switch is the insulator and would normally be left at any time. PC normal power would be the front switch as you do now. It should be a straight replacement.

  • Rattling noise - the graphics card or power supply?

    Hey guys,.

I've had my HP Pavilion Elite m9300t for almost 1 year now. About half of that time, I had to deal with the annoying rattle noise that I attributed to one of the fans in the case. Unfortunately, my PC is equipped with GeForce 9500GS formidable card (with the black cover) and so noise, while annoying, is not surprising. The rattling noise has been stronger and more widespread during initialize and not significantly lower over time.

But now I have an another problem and I'm not sure if the two are related. Now, the sounds rattling calms down (no noise whatsoever) and in 20-30 seconds, the screen empty... similar to the computer goes into mode 'sleep'. More funny thing is, the PC is set to operate at full capacity and therefore the 'sleep' mode. This problem started occurring 4 weeks ago and happen once a few days ago. Now, I am unable to work for more than 5 minutes after the initial upward boot before the screen turns off.

I concluded (don't know if I'm right or not, where my post here) I have a power supply issue. The PC came stock with a 350W power supply, but I don't know if my linked overuse of heat damage on the motherboard or the power supply failure. I work with software music production and large audio files 70-80% of the time and the PC stays on for long periods. I am aware that these applications are stressful, but I'm not sure whether or not they can cause the types of symptoms that I described.

So basically I guess what I'm asking is the following; is my problem, a graphics card or POWER supply number or both? Then based on the advice given, I would also like to know what the next step is to get my PC to 100%.

Thanks in advance for the help.

If your PC still work with a white screen, I would check the video card first, especially since you did not get the new & improved version

Try to isolate the problem step by step, the PSU isn't necessarily the problem as the system is in place.
