  • Behalf of the community created under false account of Netgear

So, it's annoying. When you create a username for the community of Netgear, I didn't notice I was logged in as our sysadmin account of company we use for our hardware monitoring, rather than be signed as my own account. Is that what I can do to solve this problem, to get this username moved to agardner at sharpshooterimaging dot com? Note that I don't mean to change the e-mail address associated with our netgear sysadmin account, I'm just trying to change that netgear represent this community account belongs to the.

  • Pavilion dv6500z: fingerprint reader not activated / work

    Hello:

I have a HP Pavilion dv6500z (32 - bit laptop) running Windows Vista Home Premium.

I have a handset problem and don't know if they are linked, or separate.

    (1) I'm missing an icon on the initial screen you are presented with when Windows comes first to the top, where you choose which account to connect to, before any screen of Login/PW. (see other comments below).

This departure occurring at each "seed" (cold or hot) after running my laptop in safe mode, to analyze a different problem.

    (2) my fingeprint scanner does not... I get more no pop-up window if I accidentally slip a finger in the eye of the scanner.

Normally, when I start my computer, I get to choose two icons: one with my name/icon.

My account is a SysAdmin account, not a normal account.  I know what is its icon.

I don't remember what the other one was... I don't think it was a guest since icons (images) choose account

Since when creating a guest account will seem familiar, what was on the screen as the 2nd icon.

I don't remember what is was, but think it was logging in using the fingerprint reader.

    Any ideas?

    Thanx

    DaleBr

This problem seems to be resolved.

    Here's what I did.

At first, I just had an icon of my connection to the administrator account.

After recording, I created a guest account.

Once rebooted (hot and cold), my initial login screen had to choose 3 items:

    1) administrator account

    2) guest account

    3) finger slide to unlock a session ... it's the icon that was previously missing for the fingerprint reader.

I went and turned off the guest account.

I have closure for a few minutes and made a cold start.

Icons for both the administrator account and the finger swipe to open a session showed the choice.

This is how it should have been... How it was before the start in safe mode.

  • Advice for the implementation of Test Modules (HRMS, AR, AP) in R12

    Hello

I am pretty new to Oracle Financials and R12 recently installed on my linux machine to try and test. My question may sound silly in a lot but please bear with me. After Installation I could login with SYSADMIN account and I can see Oracle E Business Suite, Oracle Applications Home Page.

On the left side, I see the following options.
    Application developer
    The application Diagnostics
    Audit Manager
    HTML of CRM Management
    HTML CRM Developer
    Integrated SOA gateway
    Preferences SSWA
    The system administration
    System administrator
    Users management
The administration of the process Web applications
    Workflow user Web Applications

Now my question is how can I go to the screens of HRMS or account receivables etc I can customize the module. For example, if I want to set the chart, form where I will start from the options listed above do mention not everything related to accounts or HR or inventory etc..

    Any help will be appreciated.
Please note that I chose, so almost all the options during installation time I'm 100% sure that these modules must have been installed.

    Thank you in advance.

Click on these responsibilities to see their screens. If you do not have the responsibility added to your account, go to (responsibility of the system administrator > Security > set), ask your username and add responsibility.

    Any help will be appreciated.

  • Difficulties to access the pages to implement roles

We are implementing EBS R12 14 modules. My company currently uses 11.5.4 in warehouse and purchase and 11.5.10 in finance, but we are extending to the entire company to work on the same system. We are currently working on an instance of partially configured system development.

We currently set up roles with the Sys Admin responsibility and security: user: define and apply exceptions and responsibilities if necessary. We are interested in using roles in the future. I read in the Sys Admin Security Guide and several messages on the forums. We mapped what functions and tasks must be performed for the employees, and so I started to penetrate the system and play.

My problem is the following: using the responsibility for the management of the user (UMX), I can access the top of the manage user html page, but when I click Create Role, or attempt to modify the hierarchies or whatever it is, I get an error message indicating that I have not sufficient access to the system.

Any suggestions? I use the wrong responsibility? Anyone would be able to guide me through the creation of a personal responsibility that would have access to these things? I tried to create a liability, but it either runs on the same point as the UMX one done, or gives me an error saying that the responsibility does not have functions that are associated with, or that the menu could not compile correctly.

FYI - my email is [email protected] I need to post to my account here yet.

    Thanks in advance

    Rick,

You don't mention which account you use to do this - I think you are using your own account. What you'll notice is that if you log on as the SA account and use the responsibility of the management of users, you will be able to succeed :-) In a real situation, the SYSADMIN (being a generic) account is usually locked, so using the SA account is not feasible. You will need to do is connect as that of the SYSADMIN account (this once) and with responsibility for the management of users, given the role of "security administrator" your apps account (assuming that it is one you use). Then log out and log in as yourself and you will see that you will be able to do what you need to do. Unfortunately, this step is not documented very well anywhere AFAIK. PL let us know if it works for you.

  • Password account sysadmin for UCM 11 g

    Hello

I have problem to start applications as archiver stand alone, because I need to log in with the account sysadmin for Complutense University of MADRID. The account is that I understood created during installation by the system itself. I tried to change the password but the change is not saved and I have tried to create another admin account and tried to connect to the stand-alone applications but even that do no work to connect with.

    Need urgent help!

    Thanks in advance,

    Ibrahim

    Hello

Neither idc or default welcome1 because it is coded according to the encoding set in the column dpasswordencoding in the users table.

    update users set dpasswordencoding = "where dname as 'sysadmin ';

    update users set dpassword = "idc" where dname like 'sysadmin ';

Run these 2 queries on the scheme of the University Complutense of Madrid, then connect with the user / pwd.

  • Monitoring stops working after changing the SQL Service account

I have the Foglight for SQL Server cartridge. I recently changed the service account that is running the SQL Server engine and SQL Server Agent from a local account to a domain account. Everything works fine on the SQL Server side.

No configuration changes have been made on the Foglight end, and none should be necessary Foglight is configured to use a separate service for SQL account both OS level followed. This account has always been in the local "Administrators" Group on the database server, as well as a "sysadmin" on the side of SQL Server server role. If I 'validate connectivity' within Foglight to that server, it shows that the connection is correct. I tried to remove the monitoring officer and recreation, but yet to see errors in the attached screenshot. Has anyone meet a similar problem?

Although I couldn't find any indication that the agents were locked, I tried to release them anyway. That seemed to do the trick!

    This can be found here:

  • ACS5: method of different external authentication for each user account

ACS4 I could specify a different external authentication for each user account. I'm trying to find a way to do the same thing to the ACS 5? When I go under identity in Access Services, I see the system requirement: username I can use to identify the user who logs in, so that I can directly to a source of different identity, but the separate political configuration for each user is very inconvinient and would require hundreds of policies, in our case.

I was hoping that we can create a kind of attribute for each user. SysAdmin > Configuration > dictionaries > identity > internal users. I created the new attribute called 'Storage of identity' with the enumeration type, which has 4 values: internal, Entrust Token, Token RSA, counts AD and checked the box "add a political Condition." I can then go under each user and select the storage of identity for each user. But now I can't find where I can use under part of identity of an access policy. I can use it under "Group mapping" but that maps to one group and not to an identity store. I need to use it under the identity somehow, but I can't find how.

    Hello Roman,

The attribute you created will be available when the user is authenticated through internel ID store, so that you cannot use to select the store ID.

The best way to do this would be to use other attributes to differentiate the identity store.
Allows you to create a sequence of identity store so that for each user, ACS will try to authenticate by using multiple identity store.

For example, you can use these:

    Network status

    > End Station filter

    > Device filter

    > Devide filter Ports

Here you can import filters from a file and it would therefore be more scalable.

    Hope this helps.

  • Can I use a modified process (from seeds) in FA account generator workflows?

    Hello!

Can I create a copy of the FA account generator workflows generate a default of the process account, rename, change and use it instead of the one sown? If Yes, where is the installation program in which I can say the EBS to use my process changed rather than the seeds?

If this is not the case, can I change codes of seeding?

    Thank you.

    Jon

You can create a copy of the seeded process, once you have done this, you will need to select the custom process in the form of 'Account generator process' which is available in the Sysadmin or superuser GL responsibilities.

  • How to show (list), all users / user accounts in R12.1.3

How can I list all the users (user accounts) in R12.1.3?
Is there a way to do this using, for example, wildcards in < User Management > - < user >, or other places after connected as a sysadmin?

    Thanks in advance.

If you are referring to the list of users defined in the system, you can make the application (responsible for system administration > Security > user > set) or by sending 'Active users' simultaneous. Since the backend, you can query the FND_USERS table.

For logged in users, you see old similar threads - http://forums.oracle.com/forums/search.jspa?threadID=&q=Connected+users&objID=c3&dateRange=all&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001

  • Unable to connect with the sysadmin user applications

    Hi all

We cannot connect to applications with user sysadmin

check all possible alternatives of there we cannot connect and finally we program the password by FNDCPASS

    VERIFIED SOLUTIONS:
    ==============
    (1) locked account - no.
    (2) Guest user password - valid and check with to validate the password function
    (3) checked tablespace APPS_TS_IDX space - enough space available
    (4) checked signon profiles all who are very well
    (5) No person changed the password before there is no activity for 2 days
    (6) active in fnd_users and all are looks good
    sysadmin 7) validation through fnd_web_sec

Select apps.fnd_web_sec.validate_login ('SYSADMIN',' & pwd') of double; -display "N".

Finally reset us the password with fndcpass but the customer claim the CAR for that matter

Please give me your valuable inputs to this so that it will be useful in the future to support

    Thank you

    Hello

So in my case the hash value has been changed according to the post above to right?

In your case, the password has been changed and this has changed the hashed password that is stored in the table. When you have provided the initial password, the FND_WEB_SEC hash and compares with the hashed value and it returns N because the hash values do not match.

Can U please tell me how this change in the hash if no users changed the password earlier?

It represents the value has changed because the password has been changed or the hashed value has been changed manually.

    Thank you

  • Can I combine 3 accounts 1 Apple?

I've made several purchases (apps, music, movies) from the iTunes store.  Unfortunately for me, until I realized it was a problem, I made the purchase of three different accounts.  I asked once before and I was told that it was impossible to combine accounts.  The situation has changed, or is there a reasonable workaround?

If it proves impossible, maybe set up a family sharing and the other two ghosts that is your family.
