  Just to clarify: you cannot turn pages with Acrobat Reader permanently but temporarily, you can rotate the view: on the file menu, click view | Rotate the view | Clockwise or counterclockwise.

  You can also add controls to display rotation in the Tools menu.

  I would ask you to completely uninstall and re-install Adobe Reader and check.
  To uninstall Adobe, you can follow the steps below:
  a. open programs and features by clicking on the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click programs, and then clicking programs and features.
  b. Select Adobe and then click on uninstall.
  c. install the Adobe reader on the following Web site:
     http://get.Adobe.com/reader/

  Touch Reader is a very basic application and is now discontinued. Any reason, why you would use the regular Acrobat Reader (as it is called now, all confused us)?

  We have created and launched a number of forms for our contacts PDF download and send an e-mail or fax back to us. The problem we run into is that our email client allows to receive only 10 MB files and smaller. We find that many of our PDF forms who complete online to end-users cannot be emailed to us because the file size is too big... that creates a problem.

  How do solve us this? Also, an end user can delete the pages of the form in Adobe Reader, to decrease the size of the file before emailing for us?

  What size are the files before they are filled? If they are close to the limit of 10 MB, you'll need optimize them before you post them or send them. Reader users cannot optimize PDF files or delete pages.

  Either that or your ISP (or service) you need to increase your limit, but it's still a very heavy file for end users to email.

  You can't add bookmarks. When the document is not protected you can add comments.

  No way with just the free reader. You have need of Acrobat, or one of its associated services.

  I created a form in Acrobat X Pro has a lot of radio buttons, the user must select. The last page is the results page, which has the code JS that is executed when you enter the page. If I test the form in Acrobat X, the results page correctly updates the fields of results as soon as you enter the page.

  But if I open the page in Adobe Reader XI, the fields in the result page will not update until I save the page. This has happened before, forms behave the same in Acrobat and Reader. I also tested the forms created months ago and got the same result.

  1. Go to Tools > Options (or Firefox > Options).
  2. In the Options window, select the Applications tab.
  3. In the Search box, type PDF. You should find Portable Document Format (PDF).
  4. On the right referring, you should find a column of Action . To select your favorite PDF reader. In order to view PDFs in Firefox, choose Preview in Firefox.

  Hi, I had the same problem. I fixed by changing the hand tool to the selection tool, clicking in the document and THEN by pressing F8.

  Under Edit - Prefs. - Documents check the box that says "Restore last display settings when reopening documents." Hide the Pages panel manually, and the next time that you open the file it should have disappeared.

  Make sure that when you download you choose Save instead of run it from its current location.

  What type of Internet connection you are on, wired or wireless? If you are on a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection and try the download.

  Click Start, type: cmd

  Right-click on cmd, and then click Run as administrator

  At the command prompt, type the following:

  ipconfig/release

  then

  ipconfig/renew

  then

  ipconfig/flushdns

  leave the command prompt

  Click Start, type: folder

  Press enter

  Delete the contents of the temp folder

  Restart the computer and try to download again.

  If the problem persists, try resetting your router if you are connected to one.

  Turn off the router, unplug it, wait 10 minutes

  Plug it in again, power up once again

  Reconnect the Ethernet cable

  Try to download again
