Table with list of value to load on another value of the column that is never changed by the user

Nice day!

I work with JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.

I have a Table of the ADF that has 4 lines.  Each row has a column with a unique value.  The plan should include a LOV column in the row show a different list of values based on a single column value.  I have install the list of values, use a display with a variable binding criterion.  When you create the data LOV source, I Specifies the name of a single column for the value of the bind variable.  However, it seems that the LOV changes none selecting different lines.

Is there a good way to handle this?  I did LOVs of person in charge in the past, but this isn't quite the same as the user can view only the value that depends on the LOV on.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

BradW

Hey, it's always a case of use of the dependent list of values. If the attribute that you bind the bind variable view criteria at part of the view object then the value LOV to be examined accordingly. I did a quick test case and I see my lists filtered by an attribute in line (I used the HR schema and posted employees as candidates managerId. The employee list is filtered so that it only shows the employees in the same Department that the employee I want to put a new managerId on) Frank

    But I have 2 questions.

    1, where we give value to the element of LOV

    I created the list of values like the bar chart, histogram, Pie Chart.these the list of values added to the text box named as a type of cat.

    When you say "text field", do you mean literally a text element? If so, why do you use it? A select list or radio group would generally allow to select the chart type.

    Usually the user "will give the value" (for example, select the desired option). You can provide an option by default when the page is rendered first with a header of computation that runs under certain conditions, if the value of the element is set to zero. (You must use a calculation for this rather than the property item by default so that the value is in session state to operate in conditions of graphic region.)

    2, please give some examples of Expression1.

    Expression 1 is the name of the element used to display the options. Following the convention of the APEX of prefacing names to page elements to make them unique, it will be something like P2_CHART_TYPE.

  • Copy a table with its index of Oracle 12 to another instance oracle 12

    Hello

    I m using 64 bit Win8

    I have a huge table T1 (about 200 million) on user storage space and its index is on different tablespaces on DB1

    I built an other empty DB2 with the same names of storage spaces. I d like copy the table T1 of DB1 with all its indexes in DB2 so that the table will in User tablespace and the index go to their corresponding storage spaces.

    Is it possible to do?

    Currently I T1 to export into a CSV file and re - import to DB2 and build all indexes manually.

    Concerning

    Hussien Sharaf

    1. What is the exact syntax to export and import a table with its index?

    You will need to use the "Table". An export of table mode is specified by the parameter TABLES. Mode table, only a specified set of tables, partitions, and their dependent objects are unloaded. See: https://docs.oracle.com/cloud/latest/db121/SUTIL/dp_export.htm#i1007514

    2 How can I import the indexes in one tablespace other than the table itself?

    You can only export the table first without the index by specifying the EXCLUSION clause in order to exclude from the index (see: https://docs.oracle.com/cloud/latest/db121/SUTIL/dp_export.htm#i1007829) and then manually create the index and specify the different tablespace when you create.

    Hello

    When you use this type of report model, you actually control on where the column values are used - and they can be used several times.

    For example, a setting of 'Model line 1' for one such model could be:

    <tr>
    <td class="c1">#1#</td>
    <td class="c2">#2#</td>
    <td class="c2">#3#</td>
    <td class="c2">#4#</td>
    <td class="c3">#5#</td>
    </tr>

    #1 # fact refers to the data in the first column, #2 # for the second and so on. So you can do:

    <tr onclick="javascript:dosomething('#1#','#2#');">
    <td class="c1">#1#</td>
    <td class="c2">#2#</td>
    <td class="c2">#3#</td>
    <td class="c3">#5#</td>
    </tr>

    For example, by clicking on the line would trigger the dosomething() function and pass in that the values of the first and second columns. Also note that the 4 # does not appear now - this column is 'hidden' (but note that you must check the box to show the column)

    Please let me know is there within language plsql or not? Or it is possible by taking help of coding code plsql with unix environment or java to achieve?

    It's getting all values quoted with & got invites quickly even if requested subsequently.

    Of course they are! SQL * more is a client tool. It will be:

    1 parse the input

    2. ask all THE required values

    3 replace the values by the user entry in the code

    4. present the code for execution

    5. display the results.

    The code runs on the server and the server has NO contact with the user.

    What is my requirement is: I want the value that arises only when it is requested in order. As choice is requested only after successful authentication.

    Then, you will need to write a client application that will ask at your leisure. Write a Java application to do and then use JDBC to send code or queries to the database.

    Have we not all features in plsql done for user input in this way.

    No - PL/SQL runs on the server. The server has NO contact or interaction with the user.

    Hello

    what you trying to do? You insert a line only a checkbox is enabled, or are you trying to save the values of a group of checkboxes?

    I had an example for the removal of a line with a check mark:

    In your process of

    DECLARE
       va_val APEX_APPLICATION_GLOBAL.vc_arr2;
    BEGIN
      va_val := APEX_UTIL.string_to_table(:P20_PARAMETRES, ',');

    FOR i IN 1..va_val.count LOOP
        DELETE MY_TABLE WHERE ID = va_val(i);
    END LOOP;

    :P20_PARAMETRES := '';

    END;

    In the header of your page (javascript)

    function delete(){
       if(confirm('Do you really want to delete the checked options ?')){

       var param = document.getElementById('P20_PARAMETRES');
       var root = 'f20_';

       var i = 1;
       var id;

       do{

         id = root + i;

         obj = document.getElementById(id);

         if((obj != undefined) && (obj != null)){
            if(obj.checked == true){
               if (param.value == ''){
                 param.value = obj.value;
               } else {
                 param.value = param.value + ',' + obj.value;
               }
            }
         }

       i++;

       }while((document.getElementById(id) != undefined) && (document.getElementById(id) != null));

     doSubmit('BTN_DELETE');

     }

    In your report, your column should be something like this:

     apex_item.checkbox (20,
                               a.id,
                               NULL,
                               NULL,
                               ':',
                               'f20_' || '#ROWNUM#'
                              ) delete_checkbox

    In this way I remove only those that have been verified. You can make or try

    FOR i in 1..APEX_APPLICATION.G_F01.COUNT LOOP
    ...
    END LOOP;

    But I don't know how you notice those who are true or not that way... If I remember correctly, it stores only those that are verified...

  • TextField display only when you select list = - 1 value in the report can be updated

    Hey guys! Only shortly after, find a solution for my last prblem (thank you), I have another that I find very interesting. In VBA it is not an agreement but in Apex is still something else.

    I have a report to be updated with a couple of columns, let's say column a, column b, column c. column a is from a LOV. Now I would like to show column b only if the value in column a is - 1. Of course, this must work individually for each line. Is there a method that works in Apex?

    I tried to declare a condition for the column 2 > > > value of element in the expression 1 = value in the expression 2.

    One article is in turn the LOV column i.e. APEX_APPLICATION. G_F02. This attempt does not work and never displayed in the column of the entire report.

    Do you have an idea how achieve this conditional display referring to another column?

    Best regards

    The first lines of your application, simply add jQuery. The following code uses jQuery to do what you are looking for. The trickiest part may be understand the references 'f10_' and 'f12_ '. All you have to do is to think of the query in the form of tables. The first column of the query will be f01, f02 the second and so on. Each of your items receives a unique id that is based on that, and those are the jQuery selectors that touches off this fact.

    It can be a little confusing at first, but take a look and let me know if you have any questions. Also, check out www.jquery.com for more information.

    Kind regards

  • From the list of values in the procedure and trying to validate values

    Hello

    I create a procedure that will allow to validate data entered by the user.  Users can add values in a text box on my web page and I need to pass to an oracle procedure and check the table if these values exist.  I need to return a list of values that do not exist.  That's what I have so far

    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE VALIDATE
    (
      P_VLIST IN VARCHAR2 ,
      P_RECORDS OUT SYS_REFCURSOR
    )
    AS
      V_SQL VARCHAR2(4000) := '' ;
    BEGIN
    V_SQL :=          'SELECT VAL '||CHR(10) ;
    V_SQL := V_SQL || 'FROM DVALUES '||CHR(10) ;
    V_SQL := V_SQL || 'WHERE VAL NOT IN (' || P_VLIST || ')'||CHR(10) ;
    V_SQL := V_SQL || ' ORDER BY VAL' ||CHR(10) ;
    OPEN P_RECORDS FOR V_SQL;
    END VALIDATE ;
    /

    My problem is that it will return all the values of DVALUES.  Can I put my list into a temporary table and do a left join to DVALUES and where the values of the two tables I can create a bool column that has a 1 or 0 indicating whether or not the value is good then select on the table and return the list of bad values?

    Thank you

    SQL > CREATE OR REPLACE
    PROCEDURE (2) P_VALIDATE
    3 P_VLIST IN VARCHAR2,
    4 P_RECORDS OF THE SYS_REFCURSOR
    5                        )
    6 AS
    V_STMT 7 VARCHAR2 (4000);
    BEGIN 8
    9 V_STMT: = ' SELECT ELEMENT FROM (SELECT ";)
    10 V_STMT: = V_STMT | REPLACE (P_VLIST, ',', 'ELEMENT OF DOUBLE UNION ALL SELECT');
    11 V_STMT: = V_STMT | FROM DUAL) WHERE THERE IS NO (SELECT 1 FROM DVALUES WHERE VAL = ELEMENT)';
    12. OPEN P_RECORDS TO V_STMT;
    13 END P_VALIDATE;
    14.

    Created procedure.

    SQL > EXEC P_VALIDATE('10,15,20,25,30,35,40',:V_CUR)

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    SQL > V_CUR PRINT

    ELEMENT
    ----------
    15
    25
    35

  • List of values of the parameters Sys_Context

    I have a package which is store values in a context of system so they can be shared by all sessions without the overhead constantly querying a table. My question is, after I have a number of pairs name / value of the context, is there a way I can get a list of the parameter set following context he names?

    All the examples I found in the docs use USERENV as the context and extract the values using the list of names known. I need a way to get all the parameters without necessarily knowing the name beforehand.

    Thank you

    Use the view system "global_context".

    select * from global_context;

    select * from v$globalcontext;
