  I used this machine, Tablet not SL510 Windows 7-based remote control a X200T Windows 8.1 running with the screen folded up to cover the keyboard. It works very well using Teamviewer. I have not tried the other way around.

  I could possibly test later with a X60T, if it would help, but I have no one running XP - they are Linux or W7 or 8.

  I don't know about the X41T, but my understanding is that the X 60 / 61T came with Vista Business or XP tablet edition. I saw a few X60T with Vista Basic stickers and knowledge of a running Vista business that has the base sticker on top. But if your phone and Tablet include the same content, but you want to just browse different page layouts, you can create formats of presentation for phone and tablet.

  If your content is sensitive HTML, you will probably be able to stick to a higher level. If your content is fixed provision based on InDesign, you probably want to create a new project with two levels.

• Windows 8 reset on Tablet

  I have a 10 inch next book tablet that is pre installed with Windows 8.1. It came with about 10 Gig of disk and the problem is that the disk is full. I deleted all the personal files on the hard drive and moved all my files to a memory card external and essentially left the system files on the hard drive, but it always reports a full hard disk. I tried to reset to factory settings, but I just get an error "room was error reset your on-board computer" with two options, the first being cancel, which turns off the pc and the second being "more about this problem. By clicking on that returns nothing with the back on the desktop machine. I don't know what to do and suspect that space issues may be the cause of reset to fail. Are there requirements for storage space to reset Windows 8.1? How to do this? The Tablet only has a USB connection and I tried to create a Windows Recovery USB and then use it instead. He also returned nothing and returned to the previous screen after reset.

• Can't get multiple tabs with multiple web pages

  Hi, my plain vanilla firefox browser to Win 8 ceased to give me multiple tabs when I access more than 1 web url. Before you say I have access to 5 sites, and then for each site I get 5 tabs so I can easily switch between web pages. Now they all appear less 1 tablet only. Checking the box in Tools/Options/Tabs/open new window in a new tab instead, not working... very frustrating... any ideas? Thank you very much

  I'm not sure that understand the change, then allow me to mention a number of things, and you can respond with comments and clarification.

  How you direct links to new tabs: do you use any of these methods?

  • Right click > open link in a new tab
  • CTRL + left click
  • Click middle (using a mouse scroll wheel)

  Other questions:

  • Is Firefox bar tab not showing or behave strangely? (Please describe in more detail if necessary.)

  After I installed 10.11.4 on my 2012 13 "MacBook Pro with 4 GB of RAM, I found a lot of to use it. Recently, when I have frustrated its use, I checked the activity monitor and found that Safari tablets ONLY for gmail eats a lot a lot of memory, which seems ridiculous to me.

  Gmail has been known to be a very light e-mail client. But I see that just by opening gmail inbox page, takes about 250 to 300 MB of RAM memory. And after a while (20-30 seconds) the consumption of memory goes up to 450 to 600 MB. I usually keep an eye gmail open in my safari browser all the time to check emails and not to close. (I do not use Mac Mail application, thinking that the Mail app will eat more memory than tabs in Safari). I also have emails with the normal text or advertising emails. No data high image or video files in my regular emails.

  Here are the data of the activity monitor. Look at the memory for the process "mail.google.com":-the largest is 692MB taken up by a tab.

  I bought a Tablet Toshiba still WT8-A-102 a couple of weeks, and unfortunately, I cracked the protection glass, a fall on a concrete slab.

  ~ 300 EUROS for sale at retail and service price, they asked for about 160 EUROS fix the thing (which I think this is outrageous).

  So, I'm looking for using the following questions:

  (1) I can't find a service manual. I need one to see if it is mandatory to replace the whole or just the glass screen / touch as well as for finding how to disassemble / mount the thingie.

  (2) depending on the answer to the first question, I'm looking for spare parts (i.e. either a display or the touchscreen device, as I have a VERY good repairer, which ows me a favor, that is why the replacement would cost me nothing)

  (I'm well aware I'm void the warranty, but given the service invoice by the official service of Toshiba, I find myself with choice of o).

  Is anyone else received an OTA to 4.1.2 Android for their Xoom Wifi only? I got the update on Friday, but did not receive an invitation for a soaking test I think this update has been a update of all tablets we Xoom Wifi.

• switch 10 update camera (2400 PSI)

  I installed a windows update to 2400 PSI. After I tried to launch the camera app and it now tells me, first install a camera. I tried to roll back the driver yet am still not able to get the camera.

  I had the same problem. After I restored the ISP 2400 driver, the camera work again.

  This problem happened also to other tablets only after the windows update driver update.

  So I think that's not for lack of acer.

  Uninstall the 2400 PSI update driver may fix the problem.

• MS exchange on android works... .and then no

  My husband has a Samsung Galaxy Tab. It runs the latest OS Android (honeycomb). We had no problem place setting his work email using the parameters of Exchange provided by his employer. Mail, contacts, calendar everything worked very well.

  His company requires a password reset every 90 days.

  Its password changed mid-December and it has updated the information in the e-mail on its Galaxy Tab settings... but could no longer receive e-mail... Outlook on his computer showed new e-mail, but the Galaxy Tab does not. He always send e-mail... and update of changes to its schedule. .. so obviously, it linked to a certain level.

  He ended up deleting the account and entering again... and it worked fine... until today... same problem... .Although no password change happened.

  The Galaxy is a Tablet only wifi and it cannot connect to work (no wifi, everything must be plugged into the network for security reasons... they are rather old school). It uses the tablet to work, but has the wifi turned off to save energy.

  Any ideas? Or at least a starting point... everything I can find starts and ends with 'check your settings' and 'contact your administrator'... his company has 3,000 people, they don't really care if he can get the e-mail on his Tablet personal as long as his computer works...

  (oh and he has also his email {POP3} put home and it works fine)
