  Well, there is nothing to see. I guess the camera asking BIOS password and it of not possible to remove the BIOS password without knowing the old.
  If you n t know the password the only way to remove it is to contact the Toshiba service partner in your country. Only the ASP can remove this password.

  I bought me a Tecra cos it came with a version of windows XP.
  Next to the strange effect once launched, it consumes about 800 MB, instead of the usual 300 MB, the system suspend frequently ends up in a kind of State of transition.

  I checked the definition wol bios, I changed it to disabled. (still wondering why it has been activated by default on a laptop)

  I went through all the 174 updates per DMS.
  There is still no improvement.

  For the most part, the sequence is like this:
  -cold start
  -to suspend by powermanager in 15 minutes unattended
  -wake me
  -to suspend by my
  -wake me
  -suspend again and display the message: "Please wait, windows is now ready...» "infinitely

  Well well... until the battery is discharged or I pulled the plug

  Ah. Do not get to an answer from HP as: "this is the first time we have ever heard of."
  I have two other Tecra. running latest version of XP all had the same bad habit.
  Moreover, using hibernate generates the same result.

  We are here to discuss about the issues described. If you wish to discuss with the Toshiba people that you're on the wrong place here.

  Return to describes the problem: I've heard of these issues, but it is not specific for certain model of laptop. You must understand that your configuration of the laptop and pre-installed software does not for us and it is not easy to say what may be responsible for this.

  Until we start to discuss, I would like to know if you have noticed that the same with factory preinstalled operating system. With own OS preinstalled, there are no software updates or anything else that can run in the background and blocks suspension mode.

  Have you tried to put an end to some of the laptop before running process comes into hibernation mode to see if that will help?

  This error message occurs generally when you install the printer on a network.
  When the printer asks the CD then I would suggest that you navigate to below the location by using the option of browser and check if it helps.

  If the previous step fails, then you will need the Windows XP installation CD to go further or contact the printer manufacturer for assistance.

  Thanks for the reply, but the problem has been resolved. The driver is for device Toshiba added value logical and general purpose. The PVAT pilots had to be installed from the Toshiba site.

• Tecra M11-103 - no sound on TV with HDMI

  I really need your help,

  Until today, that I used a mini adapter displayport to HDMI to connect my Tecra M11-103 to the TV while doing something today that happened and all of a sudden, I got video with no sound on the tv when I tried to unplug the device and plug it in again, he would show at all and would not recognize the tv in the future...

  Now when I go to the windows Mobility Center when the cable is conneceted as usual, I predd on connect monitor, it behaves as if there is an external display, but on the display when trying to identify the motiors example I plugged under the option double screen.
  so he recognizes my laptop as external screen and the pc monitor...
  Way the easiest would be to display an image on the screen of what I see, but I can't do it here...

  Anyway all of a sudden he tells me it's a vga connection, regardless of wethear or not theres even a cable connected...
  I need to recover my back... mini display port where I can c what happened if its damaged or something please Ive spent hours trying to sort and nothing works... it isn't the TV for sure...

  Hello

  Generally the connection to the TV shouldn't be very difficult.
  Must connect two devices with a compatible cable, and then you have to go to the external video output using the FN + F5 key combination.

  In addition, you can check the sound settings in the control panel-> sound-> the Read tab.
  Here, you choose a digital output (hdmi) as default setting.

  My other idea is that something could be wrong with the display driver.
  Try to reinstall the graphics driver and check if it helps.

  It s worth also set the BIOS to the default settings, I doubt that the BIOS could be the problem here, but it of certainly worth a try...

• Satellite C55t-B5349 - Bluetooth pairing fails

  I have a C55t-B5349 installed with windows 8.1.

  I'm trying to pair a Plantronics headset to the laptop using Bluetooth.
  The system doesn't have the option in the settings of the PC. So I tried to install the battery Bluetooth for Windows, found on the pilot site. While loading the driver a dialogue box appears asking to turn on the device.

  I turned on the Plantronics headset but there is no confirmation that the device was found and the driver installation progress meter does not advance until the end I cancelled out of the facility because it seems that the driver does not load if a device is not found at this stage of the installation of the driver. View programs in Control Panel displays the battery Bluetooth as charge however.

  The system does not find my Plantronics M25 helmet when try again matching by launching the Bluetooth Wizard.
  What happens instead, is that the driver installation dialog box reappears at the same position of progress than during an attempt to original installation.

  In addition the system still does not display the Bluetooth option in the settings of the PC. I have restart after the procedure as well.
  The Windows Bluetooth stack is reported however Version in the list 9.10.32 programs.

  Do I need to install another driver or another solution, to get the Bluetooth option work?

  I found the specs of the laptop on the Toshiba USA product page.

• 32-bit installation issues - Vista Entry Point not found error

  I'm doing a clean install of Windows Vista 32 Bit in Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4). When the installation asks you which drive I would install windows for, as I have Sata drives running of a Sata/RAID controller card he asked pilots.   Found a solution. I use the Windows Vista upgrade version & thus tried to install through Windows 2000. However Win 2 k interfaces drives in a different mode of Vista, while he was in conflict. I solved the problem by installing Vista via the bootable disc.

  Now just to find the compatible drivers for my asus motherboard and aircraft... Grrrr I'm sure I got this Vista computer previously without all these headaches...
