Text and icons of style catalog

I'm working on this web page: http://www.cprtrainingmackay.com.au/courses and trying to style boxes catalog so that they display the icon name and image catalogue. If you look at the page now, you'll see that the text is currently hidden behind the image of the catalog. Is there a way to fix this, so that if the customer has entered a long name catalog, the box automatically adjusts its size to accommodate?

Also, I tried to play with the line-height property of css from the text itself, so that there is not such a big gap between the lines, but it doesn't seem to change anything, how can I change this?

Thanks in advance.

Nicole

Looks like it works for me - edit your file 'all.css' and go all the way down it.  Add the following two lines of CSS:

. Shop-catalogue h4 {line-height: 1.2; height: 3.25em; overflow: hidden; margin: auto 5px ;}}

. Shop-catalogue image {padding: 0 ;}}

Now except all.css and download again to BC, and then refresh your page several times and it should work.

  • T510 - Win7 64bits/Random fuzzy text and icons - please help...

So I just got my T-510 after a month wait with the screen WLED HD + 1600 x 900 and NVIDIA 3100 Mr. Ocassionlay I would notice some weird pixelation on the desk, but I use it I start to notice an ocassional but a very annoying artifact.

This can be Blur/Blur text and icons. This text can be on a web site, fast moving text, and even the Start button in the corner appears blurred along the circumference. Also applied to other windows browsers. The blur lasts a few minutes, disappears and is completely random. It can be really pronounced on sites such as Youtube and DIsney. I confirmed this on all major browsers.

It's really annoying and I have a hard time he described in support of Lenovo. Any help will be appreciated. If anyone else has noticed this?

  • Is it possible to expand the text and icons in Windows Explorer without changing its framework or my screen resolution?

I started meeting with eyestrain from prolonged use of the computer.  Of course, I must simply reduce screen time, but may not reduce significantly again. During this time, I set it on a few minor visual adjustments that might be more favorable to the eye to me.  A change would be to increase the size of the text and folder icons in my field of Windows Explorer. I tried to achieve this expansion by increasing my overall screen resolution, but that change has become cumbersome and actually greater stress perspective.  Is it possible that I can change the size of text and icon from the Windows Explorer, without giving up its current location (details) and without affecting the size of anything else (for example, my office)?

I know that my investigation is not in the urgent category, but I would be grateful for all the advice. (Well, almost everything...?)

    Thank you now also.

No do not trust them - it's a widespread scam underway.  They want to ask you to install support software (usually decent software, like Team Viewer, that legitimate companies use to provide assistance), but then they use it to implant viruses. Or, more often, they open an arbitrary log file, claim this means that you have a virus, and they will help you conveniently 'fix' for a fair cost.

No one will ever 'cold call' offer to help you with your PC.

  • Resolution Poblems - small texts and icons display when the selected maximum resolution.

Trying to solve another problem ("when starting Windows Vista screen colors and a resolution do not display correctly'), I discovered that my monitor has been set at a much lower resolution that he is capable of. It's a (Digital) 2408WFP Dell I bought specially for editing photographs. I turned to the top of the resolution, that the monitor is capable of displaying, and everything makes immediately smaller - all icons on the desktop, all of my Web pages and the print size and icons on Picasa and my Photoshop software!

I returned the resolution to its original value and the icons on the desktop are back to more or less normal size, but other items - of pages web, Picasa and Photoshop have remained the same.

I have been in accessibility in Windows and increased the font size of 144dpi (larger than the largest suggested) and now I can at least read the drop-down menus in my software and headings on Web pages.

    I have two questions really.

    1. How can I restore everything to its right size?

    2. How can I make use of the full resolution of my screen without it again?

    Any help would be welcome.

  • Fuzzy text and icons, pages zoomed

Hi, I have recently updated to version 22.0. Now everytime I open a new Web site, it starts with zoom and more than it was in previous versions, causing the text/icons/images to become blurry, how to restore the zoom level or set a zoom of coverage for all sites/pages?
Also, all the icons and boxes/tool bars are "fuzzy" but not the text on them, I have a 1920 x 1080, but have not encountered this problem with another program or version of Firefox so far. How can I stop them appearing blurry?
I hope that was clear, thank you for the help

Hello, firefox 22 is now about the density of pixels you have upgraded to system in Control Panel > appearance > display. more information about this is available at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/make-the-text-on-your-screen-larger-or-smaller

If you want to set the text size/pixel density in firefox is different that your system settings as it has been addressed in previous versions, enter about: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named layout.css.devPixelsPerPx. Double-click it and change its value to 1.0 (or any zoom factor that suits your needs; -1.0 is the default and will respect the parameters of the system).

  • Is it possible to resize the text and icons in the user interface?

I'm on a Windows 10, 15.6 screen laptop "4 k. The menu bar along the top is sized very well, most of the time. However, all the icons and the text to actually work on fuse are too small for me to look at and click on without having a fight.

Are there ways to manipulate the proportions of the UI? Thank you!

Hi Brandon!  Great question!  Unfortunately for the insight we have not a scalable user interface, but it's certainly something that we will keep in mind for future releases.  Now this is resolution dependent so you need reduce the resolution setting (we've only really tested until about 2 k ~ monitors).  The user interface is pretty basic at the moment, but there are a few changes, you can do it.  Here is a link to the user guide on the user interface customizations for details - but you can change the position of the toolbars by clicking the separation Strip and you can change the width of the canvas/editor fracture by dragging on the edge of the editor Panel.

  • Updates Windows gave me the version of Firefox which does not allow me to have the text and the icon in the menu bar, lost my AutoFill. How to bring back old version?

Windows updates this morning gave me a different firefox: Customize has fewer choices. No text and icon, what I want. In addition, this new version has dropped my AutoFill.

  • text for icons cut

Since the last update to the text that labels the icons in Thunderbird are cut short if they have more than 4 letters (i.e. Pri... for print and DELETE... to delete and so on, and so on.) It does not matter whether or not you add a bunch of spaces, nor is it important if you choose 'Text and icons' or 'icons next to text. I'd love to send you a picture, but the link on this page now works for me to choose a file that shows you what I mean. What is done is the icon of all, but I want to show the icon and text. When you reply to this, to my e-mail included, I'll be happy to join the photo of my problem then.

So, I suppose that there are two problems to watch you, that where it reduces the number of letters in each word of the Thunderbird icons programs and why the button 'Browse' on this page to request support Mozilla does not. When I mouse over the button it blue gray to a slight gradiation (sp) and when I mouse click, it does not turn a darker with a blue border dark blue with the normal black border. It opens not just a window to select, and then choose the image I want to send you that shows the problem with partial words and icons.

You gave us Firefox troubleshooting information.
But I see that you have a user.js (you have you?)
It can reverse some of your configuration settings.
I also saw that you have some pop up blocker. That will prevent the Explorer to open when you press "Browse"?

  • My text and fonts and the screen on AOL 9.6 is too small to read, I can fix it?

I upgraded to AOL 9.6 and done a lot of cleanup work on my computer and when I signed to AOL 9.6 screen had shrunk, the text and icons had shrunken, far too small for an older person.  I know I deleted something I shouldn't.  I tried to use system restore and it does not work.  I can go to different places and make it large enough to read, but there are not left like that after I left and open the next time.

the screen has shrunk, the text and icons have shrunk

"Screen" do you mean window?  For example pressing F11 does change the part of your symptom?  If the text and icons it had shrunk could say that your IE magnification settings, then change your magnification affecting, for example, press Ctrl-0 and set it to normal or press Ctrl - + to zoom in even more.  BTW, none of these changes necessarily persist.  Usually change the size or your normal mode window, and then close in fact persist but some sites when running under windows (for example instead of tabs), try changing the size and position through scripting.  I am unaware of any ability to script to change the zoom setting, but judging by the problems people had with Hotmail, especially Google Chrome users, I guess it must be possible also.
