  Hi, I'm on a mac OS 10.11.1. 24 GB of memory are installed. The graphics card is NVIDIA Quadro 4000 2048 MB. I use photoshop CC 2015 01 Release. Recently I started having a problem in camera raw which may coincide with a recent update CC15. When I treat a raw file in ACR, words like clarity, contrast, exposure, etc., disappear as soon as I move a slider. This also happens when I use the camera raw filter. Move the sliders again changes the image, but I don't really know what I am drag once the descriptive text disappears.  I 'use the graphics processor' unchecked preferences in camera raw. • Problem of Camera Raw 5.5?

  I upgraded to Lightroom 2.5 yesterday (20/09/09), which includes an upgrade to Adobe Camera Raw 5.5.  I started to see a purple artifact appear in highlights after making changes.  (I haven't studied yet enough to identify what editing tool triggers the artifact, or maybe all of them.)  Even when I get back story to the stage of original import the purple artifact remains visible on the screen.

  I work with the E-510 of Olympus ORF files.  ORF is Olympus RAW format.

  When I use the command "change in" LR to open the same file in Photoshop CS4 11.0.1, with or without changes in LR, artifact highlights remains.  LR instructed me to upgrade ACR 5.5 in Photoshop, for compatibility with LR 2.5, which I did before opening the first file.  When later, I opened the same ORF file directly from PS, it contained the artifact of highlights.

  When I save a JPG of LR, the artifact has remained in the JPG file.  Open the JPG file in preview from Apple shows that the artifact is at the pixel level - this is without using an Adobe product to view the image.  The bug is therefore not limited to the display of images, but also to the treatment and saving images.

  To verify that the ORF (RAW) file was modified by LR, I opened it in LightZone 3.8.  Points strong artifact is missing in the image processed by LightZone.  That is why the products Adobe has not changed the ORF (RAW) file.  Because the artifact is present in two Adobe products that depend on the ACR 5.5, the bug is probably in ACR 5.5.  Maybe in the calibration for the E-510?

  I suspect the bug in ACR 5.5 is caused by a bad normalization of the channels R, G and B bright at the end of the histogram, so that the color balance is not maintained when a channel is blown.

• Problem updating Camera Raw in PSE8

  I PSE8 (no update available via help/updates) and a version of plugin Camera Raw default 5.5.0.97 installed.

  However I need at least version 6.2 of camera raw to be able to read my taken with the EOS 60 d raw files.

  When I try the updater 6.2 (or another more recent update) Application Adoble Manager gives an error message: "Failed to update" - updates cannot be applied. The patch is not applicable to you.

  It worked on my old computer, but when I transferred to my new computer pse8, I'm done with this problem.

  Is there a place I can dl pse8 with a newer camera raw plugin included?

  -There's a link to Camera Raw 6.2 'normal install' (not the update), so I can uninstall the version I have and install a new one?

  First of all, you are right that your camera requires the version of ACR 6.2 and PSE8 is indicated as being able to be upgraded to 6.2.

  So the question is, have you used the menu Help > Update to update your version of PSE8? Do you have an error message?

  If you used the menu Help > about Plugins and you're still on ACR 5.5, will have to find a way to install ACR 6.2 with PSE8.

• Help! Problem with Camera Raw image settings

  Hi all

  I've recently upgraded to El Capitan in Snow Leopard. I use Photoshop CS5.1 and 6.3 of ACR. I work with my Canon T5i DNG files. (conversion from the CR2 files with the DNG Converter).

  OK, so this is the problem: before upgrading the operating system, everything was fine. Now, I noticed that all the files that I have previously set in ACR, are always "adjusted" visually, but all the sliders have been reset to default and some are grayed out.

  For example, let's say I have an image that I've desaturated in the past. Now, if I open it in ACR, the image is still gray, but all cursors are reset to zero, and the saturation slider is sometimes gray. Nevertheless, the color information is gone, so I can't go back to the original version of the color.

  Again, what are the DNG files, so no XMP file don't like using CR2 files...

  Any suggestions?

  I saw your picture on my computer Windows 10 using Camera Raw 9.3.1. On my computer, loaded with the basic settings the image that looks like this:

  

  And on the Panel of Hue/Saturation/Lightness "Convert to grayscale" was checked. But the image was posted in the 2010 process version. As soon as I changed the version of process for 2012, all cursors Basic returns on their positions by default. I don't know if that answers your question. But it is the behaviour that I have seen.

  By mia earlier apro file complete tutti raw in Camera Raw, e li directly seleziono e correggo, scelgo immagini afke salvo of li e dove necessario. Da oggi questo funziona no sul Mac Pro. File to salvo al massimo 1 o 2 by volta, goes: to solo provo a salvarne 3 TR impianta tutto e devo fare uscita forzata. Ho gia tried a compresa of preferences of Photoshop che bridge of sia disinstallare (pensando che di problema ditch UN Camera Raw) e a re-installare di nuovo senza risultato. Notare che stessa identica versione Ho sul MacBook e funziona regolare li... A ' idea di come risolvere he problema?

  Hey so I don't know what the devil is going on, but the Camera Raw worked perfectly for me when I first came to this computer. It is a work computer, and all programs have been installed recently. I like to use Camera Raw due to changes in basic easy and made massive (from .nef to .jpg) because I do a lot of shooting as a journalist.

  As I said, it worked very well for me these last three weeks. Now, I get this error message:

  The Camera Raw editing is not enabled

  Camera Raw edition requires a product calling it launched at least once to activate this feature.

  I just installed the program, alongside the editor of PES 12, and I have no idea how to solve this problem. Of course, I opened the Bridge and PSE, so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now.

  Please please help. It's a MAJOR pain in the anus to change each picture manually in PSE.

  Try resetting preferences.  Hold down the option key and launch Bridge.  You should get a window to reset.

  If this does not work, it may be how they programs installed.  They use a disc?

  I have Photoshop CS5 loaded on my lap top and my counter top.  When displaying of images in Bridge 4.0.5.11 which have been published in Camera RAW 6.7 I see edited vignettes all Imagers edited on my lab top.  On the desktop, I see the new thumbnail and right click and choose 'Generate high quality miniature' for each image to see the changes in Camera RAW.  Why is the program work differntly on each computer?

  Look at the small icons of checkerboard top right in the Bridge window. The left is for the embedded thumbnails (works faster but has no picture quality)

  One on the right gives you the option set to "always generate previews HQ" If you select this option the previews will be done automatically.

  I'm trying to download a new camera raw plug in.  I use CS6 on two macs (one with 10.9.5 and one with 10.11.3).)  I need a plug-in that is compatible with Nikon D4s.  I downloaded 9.1 and installed but when I reopen it photoshop (even after rebooting), the 7.1 still appears.  How he do it in Photoshop?  Please notify.  Thank you!
