• Text entry and message choice question

  Hi all

  I have a Standard Iproc no catalog page request customization. Customization is that I introduced a new link on this page. Once the user clicks on this link he navigates to a personalized page and the user can find data and select it.

  Once the user selects a value I'm getting back to the seeded page and assigning return the value in the standard field. Also before you navigate to the custom page, if the user has entered something on the standard page then I send this information to the custom page and keeping the back upon return.

  So now my question is.

  1. I send you the value of choice of the message selected in the custom page and once the user returns I am affect back as below

  It works very well. But after that I assigned the value it does not allow the user to select a different value. If the user selects a different value it is put back to the old value of the code.

  2. on the same page, there are a lot of fields messagetextinput. But a field is a weird behavior. User not between any value in this field when it accesses a custom page. So I also send you anything and when he comes by assigning nothing.

  But whenever an action is happening in the page (Lov, Refresh the Page), the value of this field is clear out even if the user has entered this later.

  In the definition of page seeded, I can see that the VO attribute is shared between 2 fields.

  Everything seems fine. Can you add a text box next to the link and set the ViewInstance to "NetappCatCodePVO1" and assign to "HideShow" and see what get printed in that.

  Also, can you change the firePartialAction to fireAction on the link and see a difference? If possible can attach you the VO.xml also.

  Your ATV1 has an old software system not updated for years.  You have 2 factor (6 digits) or authorization of step 2 (4 digits) enabled for your Apple account.  Here are the characteristics of the latter.  I disable these on your Apple account and try again.

  My problem:

  I have a text entry field that is named in the box of properties like 'numberOfKids '.

  When the program is run, and a DELETE or BACKSPACE is pressed input textfield turns off

  and all the calculations that use the "numberOfKids" shows NaN.

  I got trapped in NaN and indefinite so that a digital 0 appears instead of a white one.

  There are two problems:

  First problem:

  The cursor to the left of zero, so the first number entered by the user is 10 x larger than what they want.  0 becomes 10.

  Question: How can I get the cursor to the right of 0?

  Second problem:

  When I manually move the cursor to the right of 0 and a number of entry, let's say 4, it appears like 04.

  More important answer first: you get two helpfuls and one correct answer per thread. I think that once you give a specific answer a useful, you can't give the same answer. But I don't know.

  First of all, make sure that none of these text fields have a property of vars set.

  Also, you don't need to do it in two steps: revisedValue =-100 * parseInt (numberOfKids.text)

I'm done and get my single file with all the PDF pages included, but nowhere I can't find where them prohibit printing of the any PDF combined or refusing to be seized of the text... as I'm able to do when I export to PDF from InDesign.

  It's really a question of Acrobat, but in any case the answer is you open the file in Acrobat and go to properties (Ctrl + D), and then click the Security tab.

  I create several CBT intended to show users how to navigate a new software. When I record, I choose the demonstration and training modes. For the part in training mode, I have several click boxes, and text entry fields. At the present time, when the user clicks on or between text, it has to click in the right place or enter the correct answer to move forward, otherwise a failure caption appears that says something to the effect of 'should have clicked here, please try again.' They try again and go to the next slide. When the training section is marked, everybody gets 100%.

  I was wondering if it is possible to create a user click in the wrong place or enter the wrong answer and still be able to advance to the next slide. So, not everyone would have a 100% automatic.

  As I wrote in my first response, simulation training is not intended to be marked. You should really start with a simulation of assessment to avoid having too many change thereafter.

  Have created a lot of assessments used in examinations (do not use an LMS, but this is not necessary) and my students would have been very happy if they could all have scored 100%.

  Enough joking. How you have configured the settings for the click boxes, text entry boxes, buttons? I give them only 1 attempt, never show failure, success, or legends of suspicion. As both actions for success or failure, I put in 'go to the next slide. The evaluation progresses so what was the action of the user, correct or incorrect. And the score will be awarded only if the user has performed the correct action. It works fine, really. If some actions need to be repeated several times, sometimes I will put the note of some of them to 0.

  Really think you can change the training simulation to work as an assessment, in the future it would be best to start with the last mode, possibly in combination with a demonstration or a training simulation.

  I have a few questions if anyone can help me.

  First of all, I'm doing a box where a student their name and then clicks on a button, therefore their name is rememered and arises.  I created an instance of text called "nameText" entry and a submit button that he called "submitMe".

  Second, in this game, that I like to keep track of when a specific button is clicked.  In this game, I have students of first year entering the College decide if the statement applies, college or high school, by clicking a button (called high school or college).  I want to keep track of their choice and display them on a results page, then turn off when I click on the BACK button on the results page.  Each button has its own name for each of the 12 issues (hs1 school C1 for the College, and so on until hs12 and c12).

  Thirdly, I'm looking for advice on how to print in flash.  The person I'm developing this program for wants students to print their results (with their name on it since the input field "nameText") and be able to put him in class.  I don't know how to do this and I can't seem to find a clear way that works.  I made a button called "printMe".

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  If you need to send the flash file to look at you, please answer me.

  If you have a textfield with instance name tf, you can use:

  TF. Text

  to reference the text in the TextField.

  in as2, you need a movieclip for the addPage parameter.  in as3, you can use a sprite.

  I created a software simulation in which I used a text entry box. The user must enter the text and Captivate must validate without the learner input (for example, press the Enter key).
  
  The text ends with the number seven. Therefore, I put Captivate to validate text input when 7 came.

  I text boxes and select the entry in the form.

  I have the width of the box text = 200px html property and select entry have CSS style width 200px.

  It shows the same width at design time, but the much shorter run-time text box, and then select list.

  Are there assets that I can configure to adjust their width to the same to make the shape as more enjoyable?

  You can also experiment using Firefox addon "Firebug".

  Try to put a picture control on the top of the chart legend and when the user tries to click on the name of plot, it avoids text entry

  You may also toggle the visible property of the image control to allow text in admin mode

  Do not design your own text input field - build a Manager around it that meets your needs.

  Here's an example of how this can be done:

  A scrolling line text entry field

  Read the comments - there are a few examples here on adding borders. I don't think you need boundaries, but they can give you ideas on how to position the fields in order to create some padding between the text and the surrounding black background.  You seem to be advanced enough to be able to easily change the code corresponding to your needs.

  The library QNX has any user interface element for text entry that takes several lines. For example the kind of thing you would find in a text editor such as Notepad. It seems that something very basic, but I can't seem to locate a class for itself in the API. The closest thing I can find is the TextInput class, but that is optimized for the single line.

  I was wondering if I missed it, or if it does not exist. And if not, are there no other alternative, we can use?

  you do not have missing something. Unfortunately there is not an existing input QNX mult-line text object. However, there are some workaround solutions and others, you can find in these forums. one in particular is a thread linked below. Basically, you need to change the internal textField object of the input text to make it work. Here is the link:
