  I'm afraid that the answer is Yes.  Several keystrokes are problematic in this way.  You will need to find another shortcut to use.

• Text captions do not appear when it is used with text entry areas (C3)

  I'm building a simulation of accounting system where the learner needs to enter data.  I entered text boxes (one per blade) appearing all the time on the slide.  I have captions that tell the student what to enter, but are synchronized with the audio, then a final text legend who told them how to go to the next slide (press tab, etc.).  My problem is that the text captions do not appear if they are configured to appear after the text input area appears on the time line.  Has anyone experience this problem?  Any suggestions?

  We have created a work around using a highlight box where the text entry box will appear later - so that all the text captions and text entry boxes appear at the same time.  Should be an easier way!

  Yes, we see this question over and over again. Especially with new users.

  You need to come to terms with the works of Captivate. Imagine it's like a stream flowing by. Expect a legend to appear, but something stopped the flow. Blocking is your text box for entry (TEB). He interrupts the slide, waiting for your user to enter data.

  The key here is that you need to adjust the point break for ETB.

  You can of course do it for your own application then I suspect that you ask to substitute other apps as far as I KNOW is not possible.

• Bottom of page interferes with text entry

  I'm a newbie with InDesign CS6 rank. I have a document preset for 3 columns. If I enter text with Shift-click, the text flows properly column to column as I want. But if I apply a background first color page (using the Logframe tool and filling), then I can not enter text in the column, but instead, it goes into the background space. And if I have everything first enter text and then apply a background color of page, it covers the text and I can't object-organize-send to the rear, because the function is not active. What can I do to get a page background color AND be able to enter text in a column so that it automatically empties into the following columns?

  1. Use of layers, the background should not be on the same layer as the images or text or page number, I use for each one its own layer. You can lock the layers to protect it from accidentally changing.
  2. Use the object Styles, for each type of text, color or picture frame. Specify it.
  3. Use character and paragraph for any text Styles.

• Text entry fields

  Hello.
  I have a clip that contains an e-mail form with text entry fields. This MC is then added to another clip which is then added to an another MC. When I test, text entry fields are displayed. The cursor changes to allow the input text, but you can not see the text and can't even see the white text boxes. Something that happens when the MC e-mail form is added to another clip, when you test the form e-mail MC on the main timeline, I have no problem.

• Removal of spaces of text with JavaScript entries (2016)

  I hope someone could help me with a script or even a regular to remove the empty spaces between the words in the text entry boxes.  I found this thread from 3 years, but the code doesn't seem to work - I use 9 Captivate:

  At the time was the posted solution:

  Nevermind, I think I thought about her. For future reference, this seemed to work - exchange the multi-word cpQuizInfoStudentName to OneWordName without spaces:

  Hello, can someone help me create the measures following advanced (I think that's what I need).

  When a learner types 'A' in a text input field, the 'excellent' word appears (on the next page in a summary text box)

  When a learner tape 'B' in a text input field, the word "property" is displayed (on the next page in a summary text box)

  Do not validate the TEB, but you will need to include a conditional action advanced as action of success. I don't know if you also want to ensure that there is an entry? And what must happen even when another character was typed? I would like to create a custom rather than generic user variable attached to the ETB (easier to understand action): v_answer. And for this example I expect a click on the button submit, or use the shortcut entry (default for TEB). This will be the event triggering the advanced action

  On the next page, create two text containers (you don't tell what version? I say text container because you can use both a legend or a form) with the text you want to appear and hide them (in the properties panel). I have them tagged the txt_Excel and txt_Good.

  Your conditional action needs two decisions:

  First great decision

  IF v_answer is equal to A

  Go to the next slide

  See the txt_Excel

  Second good decision

  IF v_answer is equal to B

  Go to the next slide

  See the txt_Good

  ON THE OTHER

  Go to the next slide

• Text entry to the area of dynamic text with answers

  I need to create a demo of an application of "Technical Support".
  
  I have a text entry box, a dynamic text box and "submit" button.
  
  When a user types in the text entry box, then press the submit button that their "issue" appears in the dynamic text box.
  
  It all works as should be outside of a thing. I need to be able to have the user enter several questions. Now if they first enter press and "chicken fried" submit, then enters the 'pizza' and presses to resubmit the text displayed in the dynamic text box should show two lines:

  but instead, whenever a user presses on submit text is replaced (i.e. 'fried chicken' is replaced by 'pizza' on the same line).

• CP9: Text entry box: Lost Focus displayed when you click Submit

  I seem to have problems with my text entry areas (TEBs).

  Sometimes, these problems do not appear all the time.

  Later a being that when I click on the button the Focus Lost text caption is displayed.

  I came across the question when you work on a project, so I decided to 3 slides project to test.

  1 BER on the screen.

  • Success goes to the next slide.
  • Failure displays caption built-in failure.
  • Focus Lost shows a text caption.

  Slides mask lost Focus of text caption at the entrance.

  No advanced actions.

  Timeline shows just TEB and lost legend for Focus text.

  

  CP9, project that is unresponsive (a new project - only 3 slides), project preview & Preview in the browser. have not yet published.

  I deleted the slide and added a new slide.

  I deleted the cache and reset the preferences.

  The way you described the configuration and screenshots, it seems to be behaving exactly as it should.

  I was expecting to see THE text caption every time that you click the submit button.

  Should the lost Focus event fires when the cursor was placed in field ETB and then you move outside this field and click on anything, which of course would include by clicking on the button submit of the BER itself.

  So far I don't see any bug or issue here.  Can you describe what you think that SHOULD be the case?

• Text entry area > background transparency to Cp5

  I have a project where I need to put in place all the objects of Text_Entry_Box with a transparent background 0% while keeping black text by default visible input characters.  When I apply a transparency of 0% value to the property "Fill & STROKE > Fill ' of the object Text_Entry_Box, the whole of the text box and its contents displayed in transparency of 0%; input background characters and text of the box are not visible on the Flash preview or publish.

  • Enter property element of the text box is set "visible".
  • Property 'Display the text framework Box' is not selected
    
  • No fade transition is applied to objects
  • There is no timeline stops keep popping up
    
  • With the help of Cp 5.0.0.596 (Win)
    

  Note that in previous versions of the Cp I have managed to make the background transparent text entry box object while keeping the visible text (with no problems).

  Could be a possible bug in Cp5 or I'm missing something.  Any ideas out there?

• Captivate: Keep the cursor in the text entry box

  I would limit the cursor on the input text in a slide area, regardless of where the user can click.

  I am doing a project of training for an application interface text, and I simulate the application entry field by placing a unique text on the slide entry box.  Although the cursor starts in this field when the slide is displayed, if the user can use the mouse to click anywhere but the text entry box, the cursor disappears and the user can enter data until he or she clicks on the text with the mouse input box.  This problem occurs in both the preview and the. Output of the EXE.

  I tried to activate and deactivate the 'click' option under select key... in the parameters text box properties.  I also tried setting the action on the lost update to allow for the text control, or make her display a legend that says "click in the area of selection."  Apparently, remove the cursor of the box isn't enough to trigger the event "has lost the Focus.

  While this isn't a complete show-stopper, it is an irritation that I'd rather not have my users deal with.

  I am using Captivate 4 v4.0.1 build 1658.

  I was able to do the following.

  Insert a box click programmed object to go to the last slide when you click it.

  Insert a text entry box and configure it so that it does not keep the text.

  Insert a blank slide just before the slide with the TEB, then once it is longs.1 seconds. You should also give the same origin as the slide with the TEB. Otherwise, you will see a 'flash', as the previous slide is visited.

  The way this works is that the user clicks anywhere but the BER and transport action click on box to the previous slide. But this slide is really super short. .1 second if it is visited and the read head again enters the slide with the TEB.

  One thing to be aware of, is that if you plan to view the Captivate 'as a whole', which means that you have no idea what browser is used to view it, you must consider the insertion of a button object on the first slide that requires the user to click on it. This way is is moved to the Flash sitting inside the browser object.

• Notification does not work with social networks or email

  I have a Backflip Android 2.1. While notifications are defined for all my email accounts, only text messaging sounds the notification. Email or social media (Twitter/Facebook) will give a notification. Text messages and other functions of system will sound Notification by itself or with vibrate if selected. The other two do not Crouch.

  At the suggestion of tech media, I installed Ringdroid, which was supposed to solve this 'known problem '. I have reset the settings factory and restarted dozens of times, without success. All other functions seem normal and functional.

  If anyone has experienced this problem and better yet, no one knows how to fix? I love the phone and don't want the inconvenience of having to send it to the shop.
