Text truncated in the dialog boxes to print and export

Someone has any idea how to correct the text in my dialog boxes print of InDesign and export? CS 5.5 on El Capitan

I deleted all caches of fonts and it made no difference. Also on occasion, drop down menu police will show no previews of all the fonts, just all white.

Thanks in advance.

Did you uninstall all fonts? Looks like the system font required may be missing.

You can also try clearing the police puts in cache and replacing the prefs. For the latter, see replace your preferences

  • Open / Save the truncation of the dialog box items and miniature

    When I use the open/save dialog box in Adobe applications in Mac OSX Yosemite, the image of the file and information intersect on the right instead of the fitting of the column. This can be solved by clicking on the column separator and choose the size of the column, but if I choose a different file, it regresses back. Is there a fix?

    Use the display of the list. It is a bug.

    Select a file, and then press the SPACEBAR to preview. Work within the dialog box.

    You can resize the image as the Image sizing in the export dialog box.

  • Addition of a new paper in the dialog box size print CS6?

    Some paper companies have published a new document size - 9 x 13.

    I find it excellent for Fireworks and prints some architectures.

    Problem is that I can't settle in CS6, Set Up dialogue to obtain any document printed correctly. The printer (from two Canon 9000mkii/9500mkii) always have a border. Red River (the book I use) sez use 8 x 12, but there is no parameter 8 x 12.

    Can anyone help to set up the paper size in the print menu CS6 (PS manages color) so the copy is inked 100%?

    Thank you!

  • Related workflow in the dialog box / popup window and Session Timeout

    Hi team.

    Using JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.

    We have several use cases that have linked the workflow shown in dialogues.  Dialogues are defined in the workflow.  The dialogues show very well related workflows.  However, if we have a session timeout, we are witnessing the login page that appears inside the window of dialogue instead of the home page.  Any suggestions out there?

    I have the text on a command button, invoking the action of dialogue BTF.

    useWindow = "true" windowModalityType = "applicationModal.

    Thank you

    BradW

    Hello.  Digging into the issue, we had a requirement to force the user to the logon page when the session expires.  However, the Service of Dialogue rich ADF fires and wants to ask us if we want to save the changes or continue leaving the popup.  To work around this problem, we made a JS call, follow these steps:

    AdfAgent.AGENT.removeBubbleEventListener(AdfPage.PAGE.getDomWindow(),"beforeunload", AdfDhtmlRichDialogService._beforeUnloadHandler);

    So, in summary, we had created a PagePhaseListener to inject some JS in every page to make a timer based client-side redirect.  However, the Service of RichDialogue ADF complain if there are changes in the pop-up window.  To work around this problem, the timer called the removeBubbleEventListener.

    It works, I think it might be a bit fragile between versions.

  • Application that shows only the dialog boxes

    Hello

    I would like to write an application that typically runs in the background, but in certain conditions will need to display a dialog box. The dialog box is modal and on a separate thread.

    My question is whether it is possible to have this application that does not show a display main but just the dialog boxes when necessary.

    Is UiApplication the right approach? Can I have this app slot with invisible main screen or no screen at all but still be able to display dialogs?

    Best regards

    Orlin

    Apologies, one thing I forgot to say.  When you use GlobalScreens, you will notice that you can't push a Modal screen.  If you want to get feedback from the user and act accordingly, you will have to manage this feature using a DialogClosedListener.

  • Report opens in the dialog box, on the client.

    Hello

    I use 11.1.2.1.0 Builder, and I'll call you a form report.

    If I run/call report on my pc it opens perfectly in the browser (pdf format), but if the same report opens on the client pc, it opens the dialog box save as and request the user to save the report.

    Can you please let me know, how can I achieve to open a report in the browser on the pc of the client, without saving it in the logon dialog.

    Looking forward to your answers.

    Kind regards

    It is probably because the browser does not support opening a pdf document.

    Most browsers support pdf, some need a plugin. Check what is happening with any other pdf document on the web you want to open on PC of the user, as http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E16655_01/server.121/e17643.pdf

  • How to remove the dialog box "print to file".

    Initially up to and subsequently, I get a dialog box titled 'Print to File' and invites me to enter a "output file name" How can I get rid of this box? No matter what I do, I keep coming back!

    Hi cups WI,

    ·         Since when are you facing this problem?

    ·         Have you checked the problem in safe mode?

    Check if the following might help.

    Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check the number.

    Step 2: In safe mode, delete the printer and spool driver files. To do this,

    a. Click Start, click my computer.

    b. navigate to the following locations and then delete all files and folders in the following two folders (where C: is the drive where Windows XP is installed):

    • C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers
    • C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\w32x86

The box is too large to be completely visible.   What should I do to make things for the parameters I used a couple of weeks.  I made NO changes.  I've printed PDF files recently, cannot now.

    Hello

    1. what upgrade Adobe do you have installed?

    2. not this problem only occurs when you try to print from Adobe?

    a. you can resize the dialog box by going into a corner and get the arrow to decrease the size of the dialog box.

    b. you can also change a smaller screen resolution to see if that helps.

    Check out the link:

    Change your screen resolution

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-your-screen-resolution

    c. also, you can use your scroll button and hold down the ctrl key at the same time. It changes your whole screen turned to more or less important.

    You can also visit the Adobe support links and check if it helps:

  • Leave the dialog box change the text display/display

    I have a dialog box that is created with some text objects attached to its buttons. The user can make choices for each one, press OK, and asked of their choice. What I would like is for the buttons to the user in the text, so that they can see it in the context as they decide (that's the only reason why they are buttons; otherwise, they would be static text). I know how to handle this with a palette, but I wonder if there is a way to do it with a dialog box. With the help of a palette for all this seems unfair; I really don't want users to be able to make changes to the document, while the palette is open, and I don't want to change anything in the document until the user clicks OK. It is a dialogue with a palette as oddity, really.

    The problem is that. showText() and setting the activePage throw them the error "Cannot process the request because a modal dialog box or the alert is active." I tried to adjust the dialog box to .the = false or .visible = false, but it has no effect. Is it just impossible? This feature, change the view but not the content, seems to live in a grey zone between the way in which the work of dialog boxes and palettes of way work, so I don't know if I'm just a useless way. Any idea would be appreciated.

    Here's a code example to illustrate what I'm doing:

    #target indesign

    main();

    function main(){
        if (app.documents.length == 0){createTestDoc();}
        runDialog();
    }

        //create a test document
        var myDocPre = app.documentPresets.add({name: "testPre", createPrimaryTextFrame: true, pagesPerDocument: 5});
        var myDoc = app.documents.add(true, myDocPre);
        var myPSty = myDoc.paragraphStyles.add({name: "newPageSty", startParagraph: StartParagraph.NEXT_PAGE});
        var myCSty = myDoc.characterStyles.add({name: "CSty", underline: true});

        myDoc.textFrames[0].contents = "1\r2\r3\r4\r5";
        myDoc.textFrames[0].texts.everyItem().appliedParagraphStyle = myPSty;

        app.findTextPreferences = app.changeTextPreferences = NothingEnum.NOTHING;
        app.findTextPreferences.findWhat = "^9";
        app.changeTextPreferences.appliedCharacterStyle = myCSty;
        myDoc.changeText();

        myDocPre.remove();
    }

    function runDialog(){
        //find text with a particular character style and send that text to my dialog creation function.
        var myDoc = app.activeDocument;
        var myCSty = myDoc.characterStyles.itemByName("CSty");
        if (myCSty.isValid){

  • reason for commas not allowed in the dialog box select text resource

    Hello
    I use jdev 11.1.2.2 and I was quite surprised by not being able to put the comma in the key in the dialog box select text resource. This behavior forces me to change the resource group by hand and not through this dialog box.
    Is there a reason for this undocumented? Because in my teams, nobody thinks that something like:
    mainTable.header=header Text
    secondTable.header=different Text
    is worse than the variant with underscore...

    If I interpret things the way that I think you mean, for example in the dialog select a text key resource cannot be a string without a period (or comma never seen that myself) as a separator, then the explanation is simple.
    This function of "convenience" of a resource string mapping depends on the access of the implicit getter of the Expression language.
    for example, the created EL is in the form #{viewcontrollerBundle.key}, which corresponds to the bundle.get ('key'); in terms of java.
    To support the use of the period (or the comma!) inside the key, the generated form will have to implement: #{viewcontrollerBundle ['key']} otherwise an example like this:
    #{viewcontrollerBundle.mainTable.header} would be generated which, in words EL would be mapped (as a Variant) with bundle.getMainTable () .getHeader () because of the way periods are interpreted in EL.
    So basically, the dialog box is properly in the light of the real EL that is generated.
    All this side - it is a known restriction and 12, we changed the EL format to the more flexible form in this case and therefore the dialog box will accept periods.
