  Apex 5.

  IR (departments) on page 2 I want to open a modal page 3 (classic report) with the detail data (from emp) for a Masters depno via a link on depno column.
  In Page 3, I created two elements P3_DEPNO and P3_DNAME. These elements are defined in modal page 3 of page 2.
  When I do these two visible elements on page 3 I can see, the values are set correct according to the value in column (depno) link on page 2.
  However, I would like to place these element values in the page title of page 3
  Title: PGE for DepNo: & P3_DEPNO., DepName: & P3_DNAME.

  It happens that the values mentioned in the title of the page are not the same (good) as in the items himself.
  Initially, they are NULL. Only when I refresh page 2 the values change but remain the same (last called depno) as long as I'm doing a new refresh of page 2.

  I wonder how I can run to display the values of the correct point in the title of the page corresponding to the values of the correct page element (that I have hidden).

  Page title is rendered before the page elements, that is why is not highlighted in your title.

  I don't think directly, we can use the page as a page element value.

• BPEL variable, take the time to 1 min just for the assignment of value in the Assign activity

  Hi all
  
  We get a strange question in BPEL production environment.
  In the assign activity, there are 3 variable hardcoded with some default values.
  At runtime, a variable is to take more time from 1 minute to initialize just this default value.
  We do not get this problem of time in Dev and Test environments, so we are not able to test this.
  Please look in the Audit trail for the BPEL instance in the Production environment.
  Request to let me know if them work around or fix for this issue.

• How to set a default value for a page element

  I work with an array of facilities that has the name and the address. The user can add information to the contact person on a separate page. Because the address of the establishment and his contact is generally the same, I want to add a default value to the contact address. The installation page is on 201 and the link to add a new line of contact is on page 202. I showed in the default value: P201_street to the address of the contact. But, when I run the page, contact the address field shows the: P201_street, not the address of the actual plant. Do I leave? Must be something obvious?

  I work with div tags to display a box in a location that is specified independently of the other objects on the page.
  
  I have one of my divs like to stay in the same place on the screen regardless of whether the page is reached or not. To this end, I assigned the CSS position: fixed; property to the div.
  
  When I view the page with Firefox it is superb: everything as planned. When I view the page with for example, the div takes the entire width of the page, between two other regions.

  Note: Internet Explorer supports the fixed value only if a !DOCTYPE is specified.

  Hi Gregory,

  You can configure the! DOCTYPE in your page template. If you do not want to modify one of the existing ones, you can create a copy to play with.
  Another option would be to remove the old! DOCTYPE of the model or, if the model you are using already comes without one! DOCTYPE, you can create a process page of PL/SQL that runs "Before Header" and looks like this

  But I found the exact cause of this "Invalid cursor error' (ORA-01001) in Oracle forms. It is because of the unique enclosed in quotes the select statement of the REF cursor. I found in the paragraphs below Oracle.

  Once I deleted the quotes, it's working properly now.

  Does anyone have an idea how to set the value of several page elements using apex.submit?

  I get the kDeletePageItemBoss in my observer if the user deletes one or more page elements. But I don't know if I can remove the deletion.

  One way to do this would be to create a custom implementation of ICommandInterceptor. You can search 'ICommandInterceptor' of this forum and you will encounter an example you could get going in the right direction. Unfortunately, the example is a bit blurred due to the conversion of forum, but it's a start!

  However, now I have logic to determine the button of the page which should route traffic and I'm storing in a Page element called P6_PAGE_ROUTE (the value is 10 or 23). How can I get the URL to direct traffic based on the value in P6_PAGE_ROUTE? I did some research and I've tried using the & P6_PAGE_ROUTE. but it does not work:

  URL addresses by passing the values generally have this format:

  There is a problem in the APEX when I open a modal page-> submit modal page and refresh parent region (report one).

  When I first open a report from the region and click the modal page, everything is ok:

  

  Modal page values are defined in the sense of link that open to it.

  Submit after modal page by button (there is a process of dialogue), the dialog box is closed. On the parent page, there is a DA - dialogue close report parent refresh.

  After update - waiting indicator is indicated - all the element referenced in the link to open modal values are defined as empty values.

  

  Is there a problem in the links when I use it it set the values of the elements of the page? (not report items)

  Hi Jozef,

  the values of your page P9_NEW1 - P9_NEW5 items are not in persistent session state, they are only available in memory at the time when the page is rendered. Every time when you want to refer to an element in your report, and no matter if it is in the report SQL statement or as a substitution in a link, it must present the server as part of the "Refresh" / AJAX call so that the server can initialize this session state and you are able to reference it. You can do this by setting "Page elements must send" your report. In your case, you must set it to P9_NEW1, P9_NEW2, P9_NEW3, P9_NEW4, P9_NEW5. See the example updated, you provided.

  I have a form build on table T1. The T1 has a primary key defined (T1PK) and four other columns (C1 - C4). I have a form in this table. This form accepts the values of C1 to C4 and displayis an extra point, is not based on columns of T1 - P1_DUMMY. The form for T1PK element has the value "hidden and protected.
  When creating the form, I wanted that the value of the primary key (T1PK) will be obtained through existing trigger. I want to use the value stored in the page called "P1_DUMMY" for P1_T1PK.
  
  No matter what I do, I always get this error when I hit the button 'CREATE' on the page of the form:
  
  ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ('DEV'. "" T1 ". ("' T1PK")
  
  The Create button is a condition not to show if the the P1_T1PK page element is NULL. I created page rendering process, the process of transformation of page like this bock of PL/SQL:

  But I still get ORA-01400. The form has the P1_DUMMY as display only, not not to store the State, so I can see that the P1_DUMMY element has the value I want (2).

  The belief question is the way in which the calculation is being defined. You are not using the &. rating (dot ampersand) in PL/SQL and SQL.

  Try this.

  1 define the calculation on P1_T1PK of Type calculation of value of the element
  2. on the next page to load textarea, enter P1_DUMMY. No. colon or &
  3. give appropriate conditions
