  I joined BI Publisher reports at the apex. I call the BI publisher reports through javascript.
  so, when I click on the "print" key on my apex page, it calls the javascript function and a pop up appears with the required report.
  
  My problem is when the pop up comes it comes with the url, the title of the page, the toolbar, but I don't want those things.i simply want the pdf file is displayed.

• AutoRefresh BI Publisher report

  Hi all

  I built a BI Publisher report that will show the current state of the business process. Report is appears on the big screen, where each Member of staff can see the last State. Database of this report is to automatically updated every 10 minutes through scripts/cron job etc. Now, I want that report BI Publisher to automatically pick up the latest data i.e. report is expected to show most recent data without human intervention. I don't want the user to close and then open report again to get the latest data, but want automatic referesh sort to the report.

  No idea how can we auto refresh the BI Publisher report?

  I have been a proponent of the ADF, new fusion app and BI publisher. We use Oracle Fusion Application version 11.1.7.0.0 for the implementation of compensation and BI publisher is a part of it.

  
  

  I developed a report editor BI, placed under the shared folder-Custom, to incorporate the same in the merger enforcement home page. By following the video How to embed a report in a dashboard sale?-YouTube, I followed steps below

  
  

  1 administration-> work area page to customize

  2. add content

  3 click on "reports and analytics.

  4. click on 'BIPresentationServer '.

  5. file sharing

  6 custom

  
  

  Question: If I have reports under this 'Custom' folder, it says "empty folder". It shows that the 'analysis', but not all reports. Problem is not with this single file but all. I also made sure that I am able to see all the reports when I browse using Navigator-> tools - > reports and analyses.

  Thanks for the link. I'm reading for a better understanding.

  I come to know of SR that in order to see the BI Publisher in the list of servers of presentation of values, we must incorporate the report BI Publihser inside an OTBI dashboard.

  So we need to create a "Dashboard" folder (it is wort then only we are able to see via fusion apps. Select and integrate), dashboard and then and add the report wanted to this dashboard. Now we can navigate to this dashboard, open it and select the page to include it.

  Could be useful for the ppl who faced a similar question. Thank you.

  I stuck in the BI Publisher RTF model.

  I want to create a BI Publisher Apex report.

  Question is.... have several activities and several Notes to a significant number.

  Not sure how to put repeating frame so that all corresponding activities and corresponding notes are a major number without repeating.

  Each main number arrive on a page, see the snapshot below.

  You must use @section. so your for each should be as below

  My company uses Dreamweaver to publish a Handbook of 'owner '. The author's site uses static HTML and Dreamweaver CS6 to create its content. There are about 100 web pages. We are looking to add a search function for all pages can search the entire site for key words of text.

  • I do not have to rebuild the site and with the help of PHP and database search is possible;
  • We can not use external services such as a link to Google Search the nature delicate and confidential of the content;
  • The use of JavaScript on each page to search text is not useful (the last page contains not only "a lot of text" is simply to find the appropriate final page that is troublesome.) Thus, at the time where ever you get to the end page, info you need are clear. It happened on this last page that takes too much digging right now, which is the impulse to our desire to add a search function that helps to reduce users 'conjecture' down to a few options, rather than "many" that we have.

  Two results I hope that the community can help us with is: is such a feature of search, even possible with HTML contained static? And if so, and suggestions would be most appreciated.

  In a nutshell, we are looking for an option search strings in a private website so that we can reduce the clickable users options based on the keywords they enter into a search box.

  I have a report classic that will always return 100 records with record 51 being that the user is likely to be more interested. I would like so open the report view this intermediate page. Before the Apex 5 I used $a_report but this code no longer works, and in all cases, I have to use a method of support.

  Is there a way to do this, perhaps using dynamic Actions, JQuery or another method?

  For reasons, I do not understand there is no way documented and supported to customize the reports beyond paging parameters available in report attributes and the very limited support for editing report models.

  The following work APEX 5.0 using the theme universal but is far from be supported, elegant and efficient. Add this script to report property Footer area:

  I've migrated BI Publisher reports in 10G in the middle of 11 G environment. I installed both applications in local machine, to carry out this activity. Post, I moved a folder containing few reports (.xdo and .xdm) in OBIEE 11g environment installed in Linux environment.

  Report units are visible, but .xdo cannot be performed. I get the error on execution it below.

  In addition, I don't have the access rights to change the datamodel (xdm) and report (xdo)

  I was able to retain the rights administrative everything on the new catalogue by doing the steps below

  1 run a fresh upgrade with destination as a separate folder (D:/dest) and not selecting "{BI_DOMAIN}... repository/bi_publisher /'."

  2 created a new catalog of presentation by specifying the path of the catalog in em ' in a new folder.

  3. copy the units OBI EE (file and files problemcs), upgraded in the shared folder in the folder newly created by Ms.

  4. go in BI Publisher 11 g-> Administration. Navigate to the directory of BI Publisher and point to the destination folder would be: / dest' and run 'Upload to the BI presentation catalog.

  5. now, all units are available in a shared folder with full rights for the user "weblogic.

  I have a requirement in which I need to conditionally hide / show button on an interactive report.

  To achieve this, I need to compare the number of reows read by v/s lines page number to be

  read as specified by the user (defined using Actions-> lines per page).

  Please help me to know if there is a way to capture these 2 values:

  1. number of records retrieved in a report by page

  2. the value set by the user for the number of rows must be extracted (Actions--> lines per page).
