  Probably, you pressed the O key which runs through overlays of harvest when the crop tool is active.

  Click on Tools / Guide of cultures overlay in expand to see the different choices.

  You should be able to hold the command key to prevent the crop tool to slam on the edge of the document.

  I have problems with the crop tool in CS5. All picture information are ignored rather than just the croped the picture part leaving me an image of 0 bites. Can anyone suggest a solution?

  Check all the settings in the farm tool options bar.

  If that does not show anything (like a bad resolution value), plan to reset the Photoshop preferences.

  If you listen to a single artist, or whatever song you can listen, bring this song to full screen, so you can see all the controls. At the bottom of the page, to the left side, you will see two icons that contain arrows. The first has the crossed arrows, and the second shows their type of verse in a circle. If you press them, then get highlighted, which means they are on. Shuffle is the first left, and then repeat is the second. Tap it to make sure it is off (not highlight).

  All of a sudden my perspective crop tool no longer works. So use it and pressing on enter to run, opens a window with 'treatment', and the green bar of treatment is not more than third. Wait another 10 minutes is not going anywhere, and the program is just stuck. I can't leave or cancel, the only way out to restart the computer. I cleaned the RAM and made room on my hard drive.   Claire on the 'resolution' in the options bar. You have probably set it to the cadence of the file size huge pixels.

  I found that it is more difficult to explain than I thought

  I don't like the new behavior in the latest version of Photoshop (CC 2015.1) regarding the way in which the background layers automatically unlock and convert to regular layers after using the crop tool. It's completely different to how things worked in previous versions, where a background layer remained in locked state flattened after using the crop tool.

  I get a LOT of images and this change has added an extra step to each image that I harvest, because I flatten the layers after cropping before saving the image. I looked through the preferences but cannot find a way to change this new behavior. Am I missing something?

  See if checking Delete the cropped Pixels in the tool options makes a difference.

  Select the text and use the Warp tool to give a fake italic.

• Can Acrobat XI - I add the crop tool in the Acrobat in Internet Explorer toolbar?

  When you use IE, I am able to select the quick tools Acrobat by clicking on the Acrobat logo in the context menu that comes when pointing down to a downloaded document.  The toolbar does not include the crop tool.  I wish I had this tool, so I can crop the document before saving the file.   When you view a PDF file in a browser, you are in fact using Adobe Reader (which is how the Safe_mode in Acrobat is implemented). The tool you want does not exist in this context.
