  I installed ColdFusion 8.0.1 (multiserver) on OS 10.5.2 and chose to start when the system starts. I want to be able to stop ColdFusion and disable auto-start if I need in the future. I downloaded several times, but I don't know what inputs to be used repeatedly for ColdFusion (or even if I have to use Lingon at all).   UPDATE: I found, I can stop ColdFusion using the "ColdFusion Launcher" in the JRun4 folder, but I have not yet found a way to keep ColdFusion from starting when the system boots. I tried to uninstall ColdFusion and then re - install and de-selection of the option to start ColdFusion when the system starts, but ColdFusion is still running at startup. I see no Lignon launchd config and nothing in the login items, so I don't know how ColdFusion is underway (and how to stop it).

  You can go ahead and remove the boot file located in/Library/StartupItems/ColdFusion8Multi (for multiserver) and/Library/StartupItems/ColdFusion8 (for independent). This should solve your problem.

  I tried to back up my files using an external hard drive (which I have done before with Windows 7 64-bit), but recently I get the same error code. I have re-formatted external hard drive, run diagnostics on it, restarted the computer, etc and nothing seems to work. I also tried both options posted in another forum with the same error and too, they were not successful (external is already NTFS and now that it has been re-formatted is completely empty). Windows has more suggests? I hope not to have to use drag and drop my files whenever I want to save my computer.

  Read this article because I believe that the amount of free space in the 100 MB partition is too small. Article is a different error code, but the technique to increase the size of the 100 MB partition is the same.

If you still have the problem of storage, you could extend peterof idea and write to the file using some proxy in the buffer until the storage is available.

  To disable automatic disk checking at the start of Windows through registry, go to the following registry key:

  In the right pane, double click BootExecute.

  The default value of the key is autocheck autochk *

  * means that each drive is checked for consistency. Just add /K:C to the end before *. /K switch will disable autocheck on C: drive at Windows startup. If the final value should look like this:

  / k: C to autocheck autochk *.

  If you want to add more drives, the key should look like this: (by disabling the drives C and D)

  / k: D / k: C autocheck autochk *.

  If you want to restore all default, just replace the key with the default i.e.

  autocheck autochk *.

  I think it's necessary for a process to screen lanuch a GUI. However for the background process, looks to me that this is not necessary since the OS already started the process for our application. I just changed my code without waiting here and my background process starts correctly. However the API doc http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/5.0.0api/net/rim/device/api/system/ApplicationManager.html..., he says the following to the inStartup method:

  I'm not 100% sure of what th8s means either, but I guess you run level 7 (which you will if you haven't changed it, and this is the last layer, then you're probably OK.

  That said, I would always run not really any startup code until appManager.inStartup () is false.

  Evaluating 60A expired on my ESXi (5.0.0.623860) host which runs a couple of virtual machines. Virtual machines have been setup to autostart when the host said, but now the assessment is complete, the virtual machine no longer autostart.

  In addition, I ran a simple scipt using PowerCLI. This was shot issue a stop host command, which in turn stop the gracfully VMs, then stop the host: the script command were:

  Connect-VIServer -server mysESXiHost -User root -Password xxxxxxx
  Stop-VMHost mysESXiHost -Confirm:$false -force
  

  If I run these commands from the PowerCLI confirmation, I see the following error message:

  You have a service for the instance of XE, is it not? his name must be OracleServiceXE: set as manual, and you can launch it whenever you want.
