Hello

Modern games can strain the resources of the computer. A computer that runs some programs perfectly can become slow and potentially insensitive to the demands of complicated games. You may notice graphics reduces flicker or rates that make playing your game feel like you're watching a slide show.

  • Why Windows 7 Prof 64 bit because most of the games are placed on 64 bit 32 bit

Don't work very well on this system at all.

    Are what games you referring?

What do you exactly by "don't work very well..." » ?

Most, but not all 32-bit games/programs works at least as well on Windows 7 64 bit on Windows 7 32 bit thanks to SysWOW64 which acts as an "emulator". A notable exception to this are very old games that contain 16-Bit code that will not work on Windows 7 64 without virtualization software.

  • Why games are bad for the laptop? and what is the reason?

Please can you help me I bought a series of naw computer hp laptop Pavilion g6 and I want to keep it quick and clean and no problem in

the problem is I like to play to the laptop... my mom tell me that the games are bad for the laptop, so I won't know what is reason to make bad games for laptop?

    with

    my respect; ruaa17

    ..

    Hello

Probably your MOM is right. More than 90% (or more) laptops are not good for modern games because their video cards can't handle the graphics in games or have to work very hard causing the machines may be overheated and the HEAT is not good for any machine.

    Hope it makes sense.

  • Given that downloading Firefox, my mouse is sticky and MSN games are hard to play and very slow to download. Any suggestions?

I checked the system, apparently the mouse works fine. The games are very slow to download, and it is almost impossible to play because the mouse is so slow.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Why microsoft has so many technical problems with the Gaming area?

The site is down a few times more than 72 hours in a row.  There was opportunities, that the site went down every other day for a week.   The page that opens after the servers have been can be improved.  Error messages its users the impression that this is a technical error with their equipment.  This only promotes the frustrations of users because they spend hours trying to solve a problem that never existed.  Players are NEVER kept in the loop. Updates on Facebook are not and some who are regular users of the game area are forced to explore other sites of games because of that.  Microsoft has the best games around.  It would be a shame if they lose all their followers to a competitor.

    Hi rjs6455,

    1. what version of Windows 7 use you? It is 32-bit or 64-bit?

This problem may occur if the games are not fully compatible with Windows 7.

As you could use games in windows XP and windows 7 laptop computer previopus, you can try to install the game using administrator privileges.

    Step 1:

If you try to install using a CD and then try to copy the files for installation on the desktop and then repeat the installation with administrator privileges:

    a. right-click on the installation files and select run as administrator to install the games.

    Step 2:

If you're still having problems, then I suggest you to install Windows XP mode and then install the games in XP mode and check.

You can view the following link to use Windows XP mode:

Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/install-and-use-Windows-XP-mode-in-Windows-7

Note: Windows XP mode will only run in Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise edition

  • Mahjong Titans was "Falling Tiles" Sound at the beginning of the game

After having upgraded from Vista 64 for Win7 64, I noticed that the sound "falling tiles" at the opening of the games of Mahjong Titans is now really bad quality.  All other sounds in the game are very well (even under Vista 64).  I was wondering if there is an audio file that is corrupted in the version of Win 7?

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game (via Windows power features) and uses the latest audio drivers etc...

    Any advice much appreciated.

  • I deleted all the games that come with Windows XP including Solitaire. How can I get that back?

I deleted all the games that come with Windows XP including Solitaire.  How can I get that back?

    Hi andypily1,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers community.

Try the steps one by one and check below.

    STEP 1:
How do I add or remove games in Windows XP
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307768

    STEP 2:

In most cases if the games are deleted from the computer files will remain on the computer.

I suggest that you are looking for game files in the system32 folder.

Later, click on Start menu click on run and type c:\\windows\system32 in the following search of the window for the file of games like free cell. If you get the files in the system32 folder then copy the file to c:\\program files\start menu\ later in the game folder.

    STEP 3:
If fails it above steps, try a system restore to the point when the game was available on the computer.

See the link below to learn how to perform the system restore.
