The IPad 2 camera

I just bought an iPad 2 for my wife, mainly FaceTime grandchildren again and take pictures of them during visits...

However, I discovered (too late) that the front-facing camera is pretty rubbish with regard to quality. In this spirit, an iPad update 4 would show any significant improvement...?

I realize I should have done more in depth of the search initially, but I honestly thought that the camera would have been better...!

Anyone able to help?

  • My look of the iPad 2 came from Amazon without a sim card.  who had to be like that?

The iPad delivered by Amazon has 'no sim' at the top of the screen.  I guess that means that no sim card is contained in it.  Its a new device, so Apple forgot to pack it or do I have to buy one from a cell phone provider separately?

Finally, I got my answer from Apple.  Apple says that my dealer, Amazon, should not have sold me a cell iPad activated without SIMcard inside.  Apple says that Amazon is supposed to check everything first.  This seems odd because it came under vacuum from Amazon.  I doubt that Amazon verifies each shipment of Apple products to be tested to see if they are functional.  Apple says it was lack of Amazon that they sold me the product with pieces missing.

  • resolution of the iPad 3

I have two applications of photography, ready to go, but I'm afraid I'll have to do it again with the new iPad fate with double the resolution. Should I just create larger images now, so I don't have to redo later?

    Hi Lisa,

currently the iPad viewers will only see the leaflets that are the correct resolution, so you can always recreate the folios when the iPad 3 came out with double the resolution so that the rest of your content is of the same resolution. You must also take into account that put larger images that display resolution of the iPad (1 or 2) causes a memory low condition that can cause the iOS force quit your application. The iPad 2 is less susceptible because of the large amount of memory, but it always causes a decrease in performance and still can 'crash' app.

  • What happened to the clock app in the iPad?

I used to use the clock application in my iPad while you sleep as a kind of a large wall clock.

I just had open the app, tap on the clock I need, and he immediately enlarged its display and occupy the entire screen.

After that 10 updated iOS, the clock app is different in this regard and I can't enlarge the clock by all means.

Is it just me or the clock app came from changes (other than the bed/alarm thingy)?

Hope to have it back to know the time so only on my bed

    Hello

Go to app store download world clock.

  • Photos not appearing is not on the iPad on the iPhone.

I have an iPhone iOS 7.1 and ISO iPad 10.0.2. Photos taken on the iPhone appear on the iPad, BUT photos on iPad do not appear on the iPhone. I followed all the instructions from Apple, but nothing helped.

Please start by telling us your 'My Photo Stream' and "iCloud library" settings on all of your devices. (Settings > Photos & camera on your device iOS and Photos > Preferences > iCloud on your Mac)

Please also indicate if there is no activity current synchronization on any of your devices (includes download, update, download, or preparation).

  • iCloud library does not appear in the iPad

After uploading my photo library to iCloud, I am went to my iPad settings, selected "Photos & camera", then on "iCloud photo library." I also checked "download and keep original.» Four hours later, I see not all the photos of my library of Photos in the Photos app on the iPad.

What should I do to download the iCloud photo library on the iPad?

As long as you are connected to the same on all devices iCloud account, all that is needed is time. Even if your library to iCloud is only a few thousand large images at full resolution, it will be a long time before it is downloaded.

Let your iPad connected to the charger and a Wi - Fi connection at night.

  • Apple health must be available on the iPad

    Hello

because I mostly use an iPhone from the company with a dedicated Apple-ID company and use my iPhone private especially on weekends, I find it quite annoying that I can't synchronize data from the Tracker to my physical condition for the health of Apple on my private iPad.

Apple, it's time to bring the health of Apple for the iPad... come, this was asked as he came out.

Made of Google is available on phones and tablets, then the missing health on iPad is just embarrassing!

  • How can I get permanent marker off the screen of the iPad?

I left my nine iPad Pro 9.7 "sitting on the kitchen counter and came home today to discover our 5 year old daughter had drawn with a Sharpie (permanent marker) on a sheet of paper just above the screen. The Sharpie ink soaked through and is now all over the screen of the iPad. I tried to wipe it down with water, but that didn't work. Can what cleaning equipment I use?

Pretty much any solvent that you could use would also eliminate the oleophobic on-screen.

A quick search on the internet suggested on the felt of coloring with an erasable marker to dry and then wipe. I don't know if it would really work.

  • Workflow using the iPad in the field?

I am a wildlife photographer and usually bring my MBP and Thunder drive with me in Africa. I try to lighten my load and bring an ipad instead. But I need to keep 2 backups as well as cards. To my knowledge, I was not able to find any solutions from third-party storage to EXPORT photos to (lots of solutions to store and disseminate on the ipad). I have no internet so no clouds of access. Anyone know, or better yet, found a solution? Other than transporting a photo hyperspace for a second player, also isolated the backup.

Also, if I use the connector of the camera and the ipad and download my RAW for pictures files, it will display jpeg. No problem. But when I go home and connect to my iMac, how do I get the RAW files for import into Aperture?

    Appreciate ideas.

    Thank you

Which version of iOS you encounter on your iPad?

Do you still have iOS 7 and iPhoto on the iPad, or the most recent iOS and only Photos?

With the new iOS and Photos, you will not be able to add subtitles or tags for photos on the iPad. It would be preferable to bring your MBP.

But when I go home and connect to my iMac, how do I get the RAW files for import into Aperture?

When you connect iPad to a USB port and start the opening, it will import the RAW files of the iPad. Just make sure that RAW files are not excluded in the import settings in the import Panel.

I have no internet so no clouds of access. Anyone know, or better yet, found a solution? Other than transporting a photo hyperspace for a second player, also isolated the backup.

I did a backup drive and copied the card in the backup drive, whenever I could borrow a PC in a hotel or lodge. But it works well in many remote locations where I can't even be sure to have access to a power supply. I tried only once to travel without a Mac laptop and never again. Only, I replaced the model 17 "by a model 15" that is not so heavy. A MacBook Air at least will be much more convenient than the iPad.

Added: How much storage is on your phone?  My Panasonic camera can stream photos to both my iPad and my iPhone. It is o.k. for a few days as a backup, but not for long journey.

  • Can a crook hack an iPad with just the iPad serial number

AN alert came on my iPad while I was with safari and he said I had a virus and I had to call a specific number to solve the problem. I called and hey asked me the serial number of the iPad, and I gave that person and after that he seemed suspicious, so I hung up. They always have my serial number, so I was wondering if they can hack the iPad with just the serial number?

This serial number is linked to your iPad. The call is a scam!

If you have configured authentication code your on your iPad, even if they have the serial number it should not make a difference.

If you have not set one, do it immediately > use a password with your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

  • Transfer photos from the ipad

My mini Ipad was synced with my mac I erase and sold. I have all my photos on my ipad but not in Icloud. (30 GB of photos) Is there a way I can recover the pictures?

If I click on synchronize with Icloud will it delete all my photos and keep only about 5 GB, which was my old storage (I have now 200 GB)

In short, the only device where I have my pictures is my mini Ipad... any ideas? Is there something to send to Icloud?

    Thank you

Your photos have been synced to your iPad via iTunes sync Photo as described here: Sync photos to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in iTunes - Apple Support ?

Photo sync iTunes is only oneway.  You can get photos of the iPad, but photos will not be saved to the camera roll, and therefore, you cannot download them to a computer. If you want to do something with the photos on the iPad, copy and save copies on film. Then you can change them or share them or download them to a computer.

  • Is there a risk of overloading a pencil Apple via a USB, rather than in the iPad Pro?

I just bought an iPad Pro and the pencil of Apple. I understand that the pencil can be loaded without using the iPad. How much time will it take to receive a full charge and is there a risk on reload. Can I plug to charge all night so I have a full load to shoot during the day? Unfortunately, I found no information on this. The booklet that came with it didn't cover this issue.

I appreciate any help I can get in this regard.

Is there a risk of overloading a pencil Apple via a USB, rather than in the iPad Pro?

    Lol of course not.

No company could design a product that would allow it to be overloaded.

  • How to display images of a DSLR on the iPad without their import?

    Hello

I had a mini iPad and I want to use to view images taken with a digital SLR. I have a Flash to the USB adapter and a Flash of camera SD card reader. I have tried both to display the images, but I can use them only to import images with the photos app. The problem now is that the memory of the iPad is too small, so that I can import only a fraction of the images stored on the SD card of the DSLR. It is very annoying to wait for the creation of thumbnails of images about 500 in order to import only 50 of them, the visualization of this subset, and then throw away them so that the next 50 images can be imported. With a laptop computer or even an Android tablet I can do that in a few seconds, but with an IOS based device it takes forever to just see the images.

I could not find any application that is capable of providing a simple workflow for preview images. There are some applications of cloud based for this purpose, but they are completely useless if you are on a vacation without any internet access trip.

I read that older versions of IOS has provided an API to access images on a USB memory and there were about 150 apps using this API. But for some reason any (business?) Apple dropped of this API and launched all of these apps useful the App Store. Is there any other app available for the iPad or Android tablet is better suited for my desired use case?

    Thank you.

Is there any other app available for the iPad

  • copy of the photos of the iPAD 2

My mother died, and I got his iPAD 2. I would like to transfer the pictures stored on a PC. As far as I understand, if I sync it to another user in itunes, the current content will be deleted. Y at - it another way to do it.

    I'm sorry for your loss.

You synchronize the photos to a computer, so it has nothing to do with iTunes. You import pictures to a computer by connecting the iPad to the computer with the cable and then use any camera software you have on your computer in order to import the photos. However, you are right in that when you synchronize a new computer, or different, you will overwrite the contents of the iPad with the content from the iTunes library on this computer.

I hope it will be useful.

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your computer - Apple Support

Before you import the pictures, if you use another computer running iTunes, turn off auto sync first so that the iPad will not be synchronized and iTunes doesn't open when you connect the device. Without being connected to the iPad, start iTunes. Go in Edition > Preferences > devices > prevent the automatic sync of iPods, iPhones and iPads. Click OK. Quit iTunes.

Now you can connect the iPad to the computer to import the photos.

  • Trying to get pictures of the iPad to the iPhone. Clicked on iCloud photo library. Ended up deleting most of my photos in a second. Anyone know anything on this subject?

I tried to make my photos to iPad iPhone. The ordinary photo stream was not working. I clicked on iCloud photo library in the iPad settings. Says delete a hundred photos. I clicked on that and all of a sudden, the vast majority, perhaps 600 deleted and no sign of them anywhere. Probably shouldn't have but reset iPad hoping to my last backup I had all, unfortunately not there

During a turn on iCloud photo library on a camera that have been placed on the device via the sync from iTunes are deleted from the device. Original must be always on your computer (if they are not, they would have been removed from the device next time you synchronize with iTunes). The following link has received instructions on how you can add these photos to your iPad (see the section titled "if some of my photos are missing after I turn on iCloud photo library?': get help with your iCloud photo library - Apple Support )
