The key tone volume control

I waited for a while be able to increase the volume of the iPhone keyboard click tones.

iOS10 still does not seem to fix this most basic of needs, particularly important if you are in a noisy environment.

Is there a work around or planned to include this feature in an upgrade to iOS?

Now, with different nuances, it is even more important to have this feature.

For example, when you are in your Messages/memos app, click the volume button on the left side of the iPhone to increase the volume.

  • XBR49X800D are there no option to disable the key tone?

XBR49X800D are there no option to disable the key tone? It is very annoying navigating around and hear tones every time I hit the buttons.

I have the XBR43X800D, but I think that the controls are the same. I turned off the annoying tone by changing its system to off. In the home menu, go to settings, sound then its system. This off my keytonw sound when navigating menus. I think that some applications may have their own sound tone so this may not work 100%.

  • I was able to reconfigure the keys of volume to stay focused on VLC, but not on Windows.

    Original title: Volume control...

    Hello, everyone.

I have Windows 8.1 RT. I think so. Microsoft says that I need to update to 8.1 and system says I have 8.1. Whatever it is, I also have a keyboard modern with the volume on it and VLC keys.

Linux OSX, I am able to reconfigure the keys of volume to stay focused on VLC, but not on Windows. Is it possible to redirect these presses for volume for VLC constantly keys? Like, say, I am in Word and in the middle of a thought and can not switch to VLC, but need to lower the volume for JUST VLC right now cause of a strong scene, and yet I press volume down and Volume Windows falls down instead of just VLC.

Please tell me there's a way to do it through windows or that there is a program that I can use for this unusual feature request...?

    Hi Esau,

    1. you use preview version of Windows 8 RT?

Overview of Windows and Windows RT 8.1 8.1 Overview expire on January 15th, 2014.

The notification that you receive is the warning, upgrade to version 8.1 of Windows or Windows RT 8.1. From January 15th, 2014, your PC automatically restarts every 2 hours, potentially causing you to lose all unsaved data.

You can update to version 8.1 of Windows or Windows RT 8.1 by clicking on the Get Windows button that appears on these notifications.

For more information: Learn how to update Windows 8.1 Overview to Windows 8.1.

Note: I highly recommend back up all your important files and folders on an external storage device before performing any type of repair operating system or upgrade.

Unfortunately, you can't set the separate volume just for VLC. Key functions of volume on the multimedia applications running on the Windows RT.

  • FN keys and volume control does not not on Satellite A210-131

    Hello
I have a Satellite A210-131 for 3 days now, and the FN keys do not work. The numeric keypad using FN works fine, just the F1-12 combined with FN do nothing. I have the latest drivers and utilities from the website...

In addition, my touch volume control works quite stupid, it takes less than 20 seconds to set and then its way too hard... I always have to go to the sound control menu to change...
    Help, please!

    Hello

It's very strange. Usually, if you press the FN key and keep down flash cards must be indicated at the top of the screen. Please try to restart flash cards: start > all programs > TOSHIBA > utilities > restart Flash Cards.

I don't know what the problem with the touchpad and the control volume but friends Satellite X 200 (the same tablet like on your A200) works well. Problem described is quite strange, and to be honest, I don't know.

  • All the sounds that are specifically related to the Microsoft system works not-missing the system tray volume control and Accessories Entertainment empty folder.

I have no volume control icon in the system tray and my Accessories Entertainment folder is empty.  I can play the sound through iTunes and VLC media player but is no longer the Player Windows Media can play CDs or mp3 files.  I have more Microsoft system sounds and the sounds of a large number of online streaming sites no longer play unless I can their route via iTunes or VLC media player.  Windows Media Player says missing codecs if I try to play mp3 files.  I have upgraded to Windows Media Player 11 to see if that would bring codecs, but without any result.

My problems were not related to the missing CODECS.

I knew the sound on my system was basically correct, given that I was able to listen to free VLC Player I downloaded to replace the Windows Media Player while he was not working.

However, the solution to my problem of noise was really simple, but the answer was just very complicated track.

I noticed that a lot of the chatter about similar problems on other forums was related to Adobe Flash Player.

I had recently upgraded to the latest versions all Adobe products on my system.  I didn't make the connection that Adobe software could affect all the sounds of Microsoft.

Finally, after doing a Google search on Adobe Flash Player issues, I found a partial solution:

    Here's an exact quote:

Very well, the problem is really the wavemapper mapping in the registry of Windows such as reported by a member of the forum.

All you have to do is to open the registry editor by going to start menu, run, type regedit, then Enter.
After that, in Registry Editor, navigate yourself in the left pane until you reach

    My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32

And then in the pane, right-click and click New, select string value, enter "wavemapper" (without the quotes, of course), ENTER, enter "msacm32.drv".
    Come in.

Well, of course, it didn't work the first time. I received this message:

the Registry Editor cannot rename the new value #1. The specified value name already exists. Type another name and try again

I was puzzled for a while, until I saw someone in the forum with a similar problem mentioned that they had found a fix for this problem by granting permissions subkey. This led me to Google search for registry permissions.

After that here, that's what I had to do, and although it seems that a lot of steps, it's really very simple:

Once I had reached the drivers32 registry entry I pointed out the entry in the right pane. Mine said (default) REG_SZ (value not set). I then clicked on change on the Bar Menu and clicked on permissions on the menu drop down.

This opens the permissions for Drivers32. I highlighted at the entrance of the Administration and click the Advanced button.

This opens the "Advanced Drivers32 security settings. I made sure that I was under the permissions tab in this window. I noticed that the box called "inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries explicitly defined here"was checked. Yet once, I did ensure that the entrance of the Administration has been highlighted and then I clicked on the button change.

This opens the "permission for Drivers32 entry. I chose "this key and subkeys" apply to: falling to the bottom of this window. Then, I checked the full control checkbox. I clicked on OK.

I clicked on apply advanced Drivers32 window security settings.

I clicked on apply permissions for Drivers32 window.

Once that I had done it all a lot more entries appeared in the right pane for Drivers32 including my wavemapper entry. This is where all along; Quite simply, there is not all the permissions to do anything, including being in the registry pane.

I left the registry and now all my sounds are back and the volume icon is once again in my system tray. Who would have thought?

    Hope this helps someone else.

  • The notification area: Volume control freezes

In the properties of the taskbar and Start Menu, the Volume/clock/network and power supply are checked to show in the notification area.  Sometimes, Windows Explorer stops responding and when it is restarted, the volume and network icons are missing from the notification area.  I can run a registry fix and sometimes retrieve the icons, other times I have to reboot to get them back (I can't get back them via the properties because they are gray).  Sometimes, only the volume control stops working.  Once again, I can sometimes get the volume control work by launching a registry fix.

Now, here is the solution I found.  If I go into the properties of the taskbar (notification area) and uncheck CLOCK, my volume control never a problem, not Windows Explorer stops working.  I can run for days without any problem of Volume or Windows Explorer.

But as soon as I'm back at the helm of the properties and turn the CLOCK on in the taskbar, my volume and Windows Explorer problems all over again.

I've renamed TIMEDATE. The CPL and the system re-create it.  The size is 698 kb (714 240 bytes).  It is identical to the one I've renamed.

Is this a known problem and is there a solution?  I'm just short without the date and time displayed in the notification area to avoid the problem, but VISTA should not have this problem.

I'm closing this.  I think I have a problem with Firefox.  Uninstalling Firefox results in days that I can run without any problem.  Firefox reinstallation the problem to reappear.  Especially, when I close Firefox, the process is still running and the parent.lock file is not deleted.  I have to restart (the icons disappear after reboot), delete the parent.lock and then restore the icons, but updating the registry (TRAYNOTIFY).  So I restart Firefox until the next shot.  I think I'll start fresh (this isn't my main PC)

  • The Distribution of Volume control

    Hello

We have a table Installer 3 members where they all part of the default storage pool.  Is it possible to control the distribution of volume among members?   Specifically, I want it so bad it only 2 volumes (out of 10) can use 1 members.  (We have a member that has the SSD).  We initially in a separate storage pool, but we didn't have enough space for replication to take place.  Now, we have some of the Volumes that are used for file servers taking up valuable SSD space.

    Thank you!

Are the units to perform various raid types? If so, you can use the option for raid on each volume preference to set a preference to raid for a volume.

    Hi JoeRowland,

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    · Is the proper functioning of the computer?

    · Do you remember any changes made before the show?

    1. check the State of audio device in Device Manager. Follow the steps for the same thing:

    a. click on start

    b. click Run, in the Run dialog box type devmgmt.msc

    c. in the Device Manager window, locate the drive of its controller and expand the drive, double-click the sub element to check if an error message or error code is listed.

    2. try the steps listed in the link below and check off the results: no sound in Windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/no-sound-in-windows

  • The volume control on the Satellite Pro A200 with Ubuntu 7.10

I have a Satellite Pro A200GE-1F9, I did recently to dual boot with Vista and Ubuntu 7.10. It's the first time I used Linux and most things are going well so far.

However, the volume control (a wheel at the front of the laptop) does not control the volume correctly with Ubuntu, rather than increase the volume smoothly as with Vista, it increases in a 1/8 of maximum volume jumps, the on-screen volume control is always smooth. I think that it is at least partly due to the change of a material volume wheel, as with the latest Toshiba, I have used, for a version of software based. It controls the system volume and runs continuously, without stop at maximum or minimum volumes.

Does anyone know how to change this change in volume for a smooth jump?

    Thanks for any help

    Hello

given that no one here has no idea, nor pilots, nor any information about the driver from toshiba support, nobody will be able to give you some useful information.

Have you ever google and checked the ubuntu forums? According to me, which will bring you closer the source here instead.
So just to start to ask in the ubuntu forums because I think that someone is there who maybe has the same problem as you.

I hope that artistry a kind of programmer. ;)
