The matrix in the Apex report

I met a delicate situation and would need the support of members of the community of Apex here.

I would need to build a matrix report in Apex over a table containing about 500 rows and 2 columns.

The report of the matrix must be format (col X lines) 20 X 25 to display all the data in the table.

Please consider the following data containing 15 rows and 2 columns

Table A

Col_data Col_status

ABC to the top

BCD upward

CDE upward

def upward

EFG down

FGH upward

IGS upward

hij upward

JKL upward

KLM upward

LMN upward

MNO upward

NOP upward

Professions down

PQR upward

Now these data in the table should be displayed as a 3 X 5 matrix report.

The idea here is to display only the col_data to end users.

Col_data text would be colored in red or green according to the col_status than upwards or downwards, respectively.

Formatting conditional html should be applied in this case.

The problem here is that we report of matrix in Apex. This must be done in the sql query.

While generating a matrix report using the sql query, we can select only a single column, and the status column is missed.

This is why the data required for the conditional formatting (color) are not yet selected if generate us a matrix report using the sql query.

Any help or alternative approach here would be greatly appreciated.

    Obiously, there is something wrong with my code JS... What can I do to make my report interactive sort DESCENDING column selected in my page element?

    Please note that I also tested the JS without comments and I get pop ups (test1, test2, test3 and the correct name of the column of my_column) but the report isn't back to normal... What am I doing wrong?

    Hi all

    I found the answer to my question by navigating through the java scripts in Apex.

    So, this is what works:

    gReport.last_col_id = "BCV";

    gReport.column.order ('DESC');

    Where "BCV" is actually your name of column position, you can send it by a Page Item and means of descending "DESC" and "CSA" means growing.

  • How to display bfile in the Apex report

    We already have the table that stored the bfile and I want to display these files (PDF and Images) in the report of the Apex.
    How to do this? I checked ApEx Guide.pdf document user but could not find an answer.

    Simply change the code so it takes a bfile type (path and name) instead of a file id.

  • How to extract data from the APEX report with stored procedure?

    Hi all

    I am doing a report at the APEX. the user selects two dates and click on the GO button - I have a stored procedure linked to this region of outcome for the stored procedure is called.

    my stored procedure does the following-

    using dates specified (IN) I do question and put data in a table (this painting was created only for this report).

    I want to show all the data that I entered in the table on my APEX report the same procedure call. can I use Ref cursor return? How to do this?

    Currently, I use another button in the APEX that basically retrieves all the data from table. Basically, the user clicks a button to generate the report and then another button for the report. which is not desirable at all :(


    I m using APEX 3.1.2.00.02 and Oracle 10 database.

    APEX to base a report out of a function that returns the sql code... Your current code goes against a Ref cursor returns the values...

    See this thread regarding taking a ref cursor and wrapping it in a function to channel out as a 'table' (use a cast to cast tabular function vale)...

    I need your help with a report of the apex (with editable elements).

    History:
    I have a table where I want to change the values by a report of the apex (via textfields).

    I'm not able to get this value HTMLDB_APPLICATION.g_f32 (i); to be considered as a value hidden on my screen. It is possible at all?

    For example: when I put the value ' display as ' to 'Hidden' and then the items do not appear on the screen. (Home page > Application Builder > application 100 > Page 1 > report of the attributes > column attributes > element in a table > displayed as)

    Any suggestion?

    The name of the package is "apex_item" not "apex_items" - remove the "s" and it should be ok

  • Inserting into the table of the apex report log

    Hi all

    I have an interactive report with check boxes for each line, when I select a checkbox one according to the report and click the button submit that the first records of departure in the report are getting inserted into the table
    the lines that I select in the report is not getting inserted into the table.

    For example, if I select all 4 records in the box and click submit button 4 first records will be inserted into the table. Not the selected records.

    I put all the attributes attribute of standard report columns.

    Here is my code I wrote for the process to insert in the journal table.

    I have fixed the bothe insert and update now procs.

    Here's what I changed.

    Changed the sql report to render the rownum as the value for the column in the box.

    Edited the page processes to use the value of rownum.

    If some of my data (cell) have space padded before the string, and it is deleted / box by APEX.

    Have you created a static region ID for the region of report? Is - this really static-region-id? The static region ID must be a valid HTML identifier and must be something meaningful for this region. The static region ID is then used as an ID selector in the descendant selector to identify the required within this region column:

    For example if I have a demo table with 4 columns (A, B, C, D) DEMO.

    I want a report on this table, such that the report contains the headers and the Details section.

    For each unique combination of (A, B) I must first of all show header based on the header information I want to display the detailed section.
    In my header section I want to display 2 columns (A, B) that are common to the detailed section. Remaining 2 columns in the detailed section.

    I have a simple form where the user can attach file and save records. I iterate on wwv_flow_files and download the file and save it to a custom table that has the BLOB column. On another report page I view downloaded file Details. What I need is, there must be a column with the download link when clink user the link file should be downloaded. How can I do this?

    If it is an interactive report then go to report attributes then section Pagination and select "no paging" for the type of paging.

    If this is a Sql report, then go report attributes, then layout and pagination of the article and do not select "No paging" in paging system.

    You can change your column attributes in your interactive report.

    Set your text link "Email User" or what you want... If you want the text to be the email address then it would #COLUMN_NAME # (substitute COLUMN_NAME column name that contains the e-mail address.
    In the column link section set your target URL
    In the URL field, you can set it to mailto:#COLUMN_NAME#
