  Windows 7 sometimes has trouble recognizing external drives connected to the USB ports. There are a number of possible corrections for this.

  I'm taking a course of German through the Goethe Institute, and they use Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro for live sessions.  I use a Microsoft Surface Pro 3, running Windows 10.  When I'm in connect, I lift the small green window in the upper left corner for the speakers, but not for my microphone.  When I go through the audio installation in Connect, I can choose the Surface micro table or my Logitech USB headset and it works fine with the tests.  However, after going through the connection still audio tests successfully, the microphone does not appear in the program.  I tried a disconnection and logging back without modification.  I tried to restart the computer, without change.  I can go to sound settings in Windows and choose either microphone and headphone speakers or the computer, and all speakers work well in Skype and Windows recorder.  I can't seem to get a microphone to work in connect!  Any suggestions?

  I can see voice Bridget, Chloé, Julie, Kate and Paul are in the folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe \VT Captivate 6 (32 bit) so how do you Captivate to connect?
