  You will need to purchase a full commercial copy of Windows 7 and do a clean install. You cannot use a Windows XP hacked as an operating system that you are eligible for an upgrade.   You need to import a lot more classes in ActionScript 3. This is because the language has become more mature and have complete definitions allows the compiler to work faster and generate better and more efficient code.
