The Page my favorites | Bookmarks | CHOOSE | List of folders is too (more...)

Jan. 28, 2012, sat., 10:00: sent to the firefox team

The Page my favorites | Bookmarks | CHOOSE | Folder list is too short to go more easily and more quickly as in IE9, and as IE9 favorite of all Favorites Web sites should be stored in a single file (for a direct management) in each field of the user as IE9 Favorites folder... then why can't these features be integrated into Firefox?

The Page my favorites | Bookmarks | CHOOSE | List of folders is too short and so lets find the right folder to add a new bookmark FACHEUSEMENT DIFFICULT if THERE ARE MANY RECORDS to SCROLL DOWN IN A RATHER SMALL WINDOW.

In addition, it would be useful that the font size and style of the Page Bookmarked. Bookmarks | CHOOSE | List of folders is more possible and more "BOLD", with the largest kerning between letter; or if the user could consider a control on the size of police and style thanks to Firefox, including control over games for all facets of the default layout of the web page colors. Windows Control Panel | Change color scheme provides a control, but control is not complete.

  • Why not just make the Blue Star add bookmarks to the Menu "Favorites"?

    Why is the easiest option to add a bookmark must dismiss this bookmark to the phantom Zone?
    I guess that very few people want their bookmarks to be added to the section "Unsorted Bookmarks" directly by default, so why the star do this by default? I have given anecdotal-search engine to support my claim, with many people asking a semblance of this question I'm wondering now, and even more that involve people get confused and asking a version of ' where my favorites gone? "after using the icon star, to ignore the"Unsorted Bookmarks""section", if we can call such a 'section '.
    I looked in the preferences of an option to change it so the Blue Star would automatically add them to the "Bookmarks Menu" instead of sodding them to Nowhereland, but I'm either missing or it is not there. I did Google for a bit, but I'm tired of dogged by similar information but largely unrelated, or the aforementioned confusion.
    I know, I know, I * can * "right click", or I * could * 'double-click' the star icon and change the folder, but why should I do first? It removes the convenience of the "convenient" option
    So, the star is, mock me, laughing at my multiple clicks wasted, ignoring that there no mortality of its own to meditate and still somehow with this lack of information against me.
    All I wanted was a better way, and it's right there in my face, close enough that I can * click * it, but still far enough away to make fun of my simpler desires.
    Thank you for what I guess has your time and review and any hypothetical help you can try to offer.

    You can use the shortcut Ctrl + D (bookmark > bookmark this Page) to have the page my favorites in the Menu folder bookmarks.

  • Create bookmark and set the Page Destination Script

    Greetings,

    I created a batch Script that will create children bookmarks and set the destination page.

    Bookmarks are listed in the script in the order in which they appear in ascending order.  (for example, Name1, name2, Name3, name4)

    However, once the script is run, the bookmarks are inserted in descending order. for example (Name3, name4, Name1, name2).

    Can someone advise please how do I get the script to create bookmarks in ascending order, as noted in the script?

    var bm =
    this.bookmarkRoot.createChild ("Name1", "this.pageNum = 0");
    this.bookmarkRoot.createChild ("Name2", "this.pageNum = 1");
    this.bookmarkRoot.createChild ("Name3", "this.pageNum = 2");
    this.bookmarkRoot.createChild ("Conjoint4", "this.pageNum = 3");

    var bm = this.bookmarkRoot.children [0];

    BM. Color = color.red;

    The script should also be changed to all bookmarks in red color.  The script for color bookmarks only works on the first bookmark.  Any intervention on changing the script for this would be most appreciated as well?

    Thank you.

    Use something like this:

    var bm;

    this.bookmarkRoot.createChild ("Bill Smith","this.pageNum = 0", 0);

    BM = this.bookmarkRoot.children [0];

    BM. Color = color.red;

    this.bookmarkRoot.createChild ("David Smith", "this.pageNum = 1", 1 ");

    BM = this.bookmarkRoot.children [1];

    BM. Color = color.red;

  • By clicking on comment on the page, it shows at the end of the list of comments in the right pane

    Hello

    It's hard to explain, so I'll do my best:

    Each comment that appears on the page, also appears on a list of the comments pane on the right.

    Sometimes, in the XI of Acrobat, I used to click on the comment on the page, then it will appear at the top of the list in the right pane it scrolling upward.

    Now, Acrobat DC, when we click on the comment on the page, it appears last on the list of comment in the right pane.

    This can be changed?

    all the best,

    Hi Shlomit,

    I'm sorry to say this, but there is no such customizable comment setting in Acrobat DC.

  • Possible to display an icon from loading until the page load completely?

    4.2.1

    THM:2

    Hello world

    I have an application with two expensive queries that takes a while to load (on the page sent). On the page there is a selection list filter. When the user changes, the page is sent and two classic run reports based on this filter. I have a dynamic action (load which) goes off on the amendment of the list and then submits the page. However, the loading icon is visible until the moment where that page is submitted. Once the page is sent, then also the reports takes some time to display all of the records. Is there a way to display some sort of an icon of loading time of the page load completely? OR this is not possible.

    Thank you!

  • Extract Pages by Sub bookmarks for number of Pages

    I have a script that will check the document to the bookmark page.

    I need to modify the script to retrieve the number of pages of bookmark for nEnd.

    nEnd will be the LAST void / bookmark to start which is the first bookmark.

    Script as follows:

    If (this.bookmarkRoot.children! = null)

    {

    for (var i = 0; i < this.bookmarkRoot.children.length; i ++)
    for (var j = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i].children.length - 1; j > = 0; j-)
    {

    var bm = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] .execute ();
    BMS var = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] [j] .children .execute (); \ this part does not work for nEnd
    var bmname = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] .name;

    this.extractPages ({nStart:bm + this.pageNum ++ nEnd:bms + this.pageNum ++, cPath: "/ C/Temp /" + bmname + ".pdf" "});

    }

    }

    Any help will be most appreciated, thank you.

    OK, you must collect the page numbers that bookmarks stand separately, if you look at the last bookmark under, then you don't need the inner loop

    How about this.

    for (var i = 0; i)< this.bookmarkroot.children.length;="">

    {

    this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] .execute ();

    var start = this.pageNum;

    var nEnd = start;

    If (this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] .children)

    {/ / Only look for the end if there are bookmarks}

    var nLastSub = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i].children.length - 1;

    this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] [nLastSub] .children .execute ();

    nEnd = this.pageNum;

    }

    this.extractPages ({nStart:nStart, nEnd:nEnd,...});})

    }

  • Masking elements at the entrance to the page if the NULL value in the database...

    Environment: APEX 3.1.1.00.09

    I have two 2 page elements I want to hide in 2 two instances:

    1. when the page first that the user enters a new round of data
    2 when the values of these objects have the value NULL, based on the recovered database

    I would like to than the items to be displayed if the values in the extracted line are not NULL.

    I already have the logic that allows you to hide items based on specific values being selected or changed by the user, but as requested (1) above I elements be hidden initially.

    -gary

    Hi Gary - I thought today, it was a public holiday in the United States (something to do with a new President?)

    Anyway...

    You have reason - javascript there has nothing to do with Apex, so debugging doesn't even know it exists. To test if your script is run, the simplest method is to put messages alert ('message') in the code:

    function ...()
    {
     alert("Here 1");
     ...
     alert("Here 2");
     ...
    etc

    Name the messages in a way that you can easily identify what is running.

    It might be easier for you to explain what I did on my page (assuming it does what you're trying to do? Otherwise, just say).

    On the attributes of my page, I have added the following in the Header HTML parameter:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    function shA()
    {
     var l = document.getElementById('P6_LISTA');
     if (l.value == 'A')
     {
      $x_ItemRow('P6_TEXTA','SHOW');
     }
     else
     {
      $x_ItemRow('P6_TEXTA','HIDE');
     }
    }
    function shB()
    {
     var l = document.getElementById('P6_LISTB');
     if (l.value == 'B')
     {
      $x_ItemRow('P6_TEXTB','SHOW');
     }
     else
     {
      $x_ItemRow('P6_TEXTB','HIDE');
     }
    }
    </script>

    Strictly speaking, you could add this anywhere above the P6_xxx dishes - but the HTML header is the best place to add javascript functions.

    I have then four elements on the page:

    P6_LISTA - a selection list
    The Source is: STATIC: A, B, C, D, E
    and the setting of the attributes of the Form HTML element is: onchange = "javascript:shA();" »

    P6_LISTB - a selection list
    The Source is: STATIC: A, B, C, D, E
    and the setting of the attributes of the Form HTML element is: onchange = "javascript:shB();" »

    These two have display Null: Yes - Null display value: - Select - and Null return value: Z

    P6_TEXTA and P6_TEXTB are two normal text fields and not of special parameters.

    Finally, I have a region in the foot before displaying the point and the use of 'No. Template' which has a Source in the region:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    shA();
    shB();
    </script>

    (this pass just the code show/hide the page loading)

    Who help me?

  • Gradient background extends the height of the page

    Hi, I'm an extreme novice with dreamweaver - always figure it all out. I need to edit a website that has been set up by someone else and I can't understand why the gradient doesn't extend to the entire height of the page. Initially, it was fine, but when we added more text this problem popped up. I've fiddled with the css but nothing I do is working - I hope that's something basic like I'd like to achieve as soon as possible.

    H1 titles are concentrated also in their columns despite css saying 'align left', so this confuses me also - we can get them to be aligned to the left?

    The URL is: www.petrohamman.co.za

    Thank you!

    Because another person leave for another career, setting up is shocking?

    Change your body css as below:

    {body

    margin: 0;

    padding: 0;

    do-family: Helvetica, arial, without serif.

    color: #E6A9CC;

    }

    You have no need to 125% on your #background of the css selector so either delete or comment it out using the / * / as shown BELOW to add an overflow: hidden; as also noted below, who will deal with the issue of gradient.

    #background

    {

    Width: 100%;

    / * height:125%;*/

    background:-webkit-linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #F4DCEB). / * For Safari * /.

    background:-o-linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #F4DCEB). / * For Opera 11.1 to 12.0 * /.

    background:-moz-linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #F4DCEB). / * For Firefox 3.6 to 15 * /.

    background: linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #F4DCEB). / * Standard syntax (must be last) * /.

    overflow: hidden;

    }

    Change text-align: center; who is currently stated in the h1 to text-align css selector: left; OR just delete it completely the default alignment is already positioned on the left.

    H1

    {

    margin: 0;

    padding: 0;

    color: #E6A9CC;

    text-align: left;

    font-size: 30pt.

    }

    What is important to remove height: 500px; Since the #content css selector or comment it out as shown below using the *. This is important because any information in the 'content' container does not scroll if the height is more profound than 500px, which it will be. The general rule is that you should never set on any container heights, in special circumstances where you know what will be the height or you want to display an area regulated as a scrolling frame.

    #content

    {

    Width: 100%;

    / * height: 500px; */

    }

  • The numbers of page drag off the page

    I wrote a book. 266 pages.

    I use paragraph styles and style of the page on the right is "odd header".

    It works fine on all pages except section changes. Although the position of the majority looks fine in InDesign files, when I export the book in pdf format the numbers at the beginning of the sections are placed far to the right that they do not appear in the pages of chapter new pdf.

    I checked for "more wrinkles" and is not the problem. The text for the new section header block is the same framework that I use on the pages of each chapter.

  • Page my favorites; Choose from; Bookmark Toolbar - no list of bookmarks or folders

    I use FF 40.0.1 with 10 windows and have a bookmarks bar in which there are records and addresses that are not in the files - (what I consider normal vision).

    If I click left on "Bookmarks" in the Menu bar I see a list of all 100 bookmarks that I have saved over the years

    If I choose 'show all Bookmaks' this list of 'Favorites' I show a list of URL 3. (No. 100 list bookmarks)

    If I click with the right button on a web page and choose, ' Page Favorites/Bookmarks Menu / choice I am given a choice of "Bookmarks Toolbar" or "Menu bookmarks" If I choose "Bookmarks Toolbar" the url is placed in the toolbar immediately, does not give me a choice to use a "new folder" which is grayed out.

    In addition, none of my files that are in the "Toolbar" is under "Bookmakrks Toolbar"

    In conclusion, I cannot save the URL where I want in a toolbar folder, or see my 100 URL in the list of folders all kinds cannot administer the.

    I have recently 'upgraded' to 10 Windows and find most if not all of the URLS are blurred and not to open the web page, but rather to open another in my favorites.

    I can solve this problem, if I can get just FF works as it should and be able to administer my 100 URL.

    I tried export URL of IE or a file, uninstall/reinstall FF, import URL from IE or a file, but still have this inability to manage URLS.

    I am unable to avoid this complex question because I do not see how to select a relevant a screenshot to present.

    There are three main folders of bookmarks and bookmarks can be created only in one of these folders and its subfolders.

    • The folder "Personal bar" stores the bookmarks that you see in the bookmarks toolbar (Firefox > Options or view > toolbars).
    • "Bookmarks Menu" file stores the bookmarks that display in the bookmarks menu and are created through ' bookmarks > bookmark this Page "or" bookmark this link "in the context menu.
    • The "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder stores created bookmarks by clicking on the star on the right end of the address bar.

    Click the arrow to the far right (outside) of the folder field (not the arrow in the folder field, but one more on the right) in the window "Edit this bookmark" to access the complete file list.
    The complete folder list also opens if you click on the marker to drop in the folder field, click on the item of "choose...". ».
    The complete window has a button to create a "new folder" (look for a button "New folder" or a '+' in the folder list).
    If files in the complete file list are not developed (i.e. are closed) then find one, perhaps faint, arrow icon develop (open) files.

  • Why don't my bookmarks folders appear as options in the window "page my favorites?

    I've recently updated to Firefox 18 and when I make a new folder of bookmarks, I can see the bookmarks under "Show all bookmarks" menu but when I am trying to bookmark a page while browsing the folders are not appearing in the drop down menu on the window "bookmark page.

    I can not use Choose to find the files either

    I can then go back and manually, drag the pages on but it's boring.

    The drop shows a few recently used folders. If you expand the folder using the button to the right of the drop-down list, you can find the new folder on the list?

  • The popup of the rightclick 'bookmark this page' is missing, where it gives you the list of folders.

    When I'm on a page and I want to favorite I right-click and choose 'Bookmark this page', then the dialog box shows where you see 5 of your files for which you can put the page.
    This dialog box is not displayed since the upgrade to FF13
