the page randomly

Is there a way to view a page at random in the PDF? would help a lot in my flashcard study method

It is possible, but it would take very little JavaScript that runs when the document is opened. It could be as simple as:

Go to a random page number

pageNum = Math.floor (Math.random () * numPages);

You will need Acrobat to add script to a JavaScript to the document level.

But if you have access to Acrobat there may be better ways to do this than just opening to a random page. For example, you add a bookmark (or a button on each page) when you click jumps to a random page. It could even be set up so that it repeats until all pages have been opened.

Whenever I do anything with my laptop, as to move the mouse or type, it will lock my profile. It gets annoying because I'll be watching a video or something that does not require touching the computer and it will go black randomly and then lock unless I move the mouse when it becomes black. So, anyone know how I would fix that it does in the minute by inactivity.

If I run Firefox in safe mode, the problem goes away. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox without success. I also tried to disable plugins without success. Also, I used the option "reset Firefox" without success.

  • ink on the page titles

The printer OfficeJet 7310 is now short "tracks of ink" on many pages. They are about 3/4 in. long and one or more appear on a page. They appear at random anywhere on the page. An impression of good pages, but no longer have this problem.

To better explain what is being printed, they resemble 'traces of tyre' short vertically randomly on a page. As if a tire had run on the page.

Do not print for a while does not solve the problem.

    HI waynec444,

From the sounds of it, the ink that either might be a little leak, or it is collected over time somewhere inside the printer and now transfers on the book he goes through.

The document below is the best that I could find for cleaning inside the printer. While the title does not match the question, the measures seem good and detailed - I hope it does the trick

  • For some sites, all the contents of the page are completely replaced with strings not formatted of Chinese characters

I recently visited a Chinese social media Web site. Since then, many sites does appear as pages very, very long time Chinese characters. If I look at the page source, it's just a string of characters some very, very long time. It is not all sites, but it's a lot and apparently randomly. This problem only affects Firefox – the sites load properly in Chrome.

I tried to empty the cache, but has not made a difference. I deleted all cookies, but no luck. This seems to be different from all other 'random Chinese characters' problems, but I wonder if anyone has come across this before. Seriously, I don't know what is happening. As I said - only affects Firefox, although I visited the Chinese site with Firefox and Chrome.

Please read this article to see if it helps. The Chinese site might have changed somehow your character encoding settings and it didn't come back to your original one:

  • Cursor jumps to another part of the page or the screen when you type

    Hello

When you type on the keyboard of my laptop cursor will go to a random part of the page or the screen and keep tapping on what I already typed.

I had this problem with a Dell Inspiron, and they provided a patch with has been for the Bios or the touchpad.

Is this a common fault with the Toshiba. I've seen some messages referring to disable the touchpad. However I don't think that this is a solution to the problem and Toshiba should provide a fix.

Does not at any time have my finger on the touchpad while I was seized.

    Hope that answers.

    Huw.

    Hello

As Christopher said use FN + F9 key combination to disable the touchpad. If the problem persists you should contact the Service partner. I'm sure they have more experience with it.

I use two models of laptops different and same happen to me. Not often, but sometimes.

  • Safari does not pages randomly

    Hello

I'm having a curious problem with Safari 9 on Yosemite 10.10.5. It does not load Web pages at random for example if dogs the first page of google will charge you the next two charge (showing it is impossible to connect to the server), then the next page to load.

    things I've tried so far.

    • Disable and uninstall all the extension in safari
    • enable the option of developers and erased the caches
    • disabled Java script and Java script re-activation
    • Deleted all the data of the Web site and erased from history
    • deleted all for safari plist files.
    • moved the file from safari out of the library folder to recreate the file
    • deleted the file hiding in the library
    • tried a different DNS servers of google DNS and the openDNS
    • I tried a new profile on the problem of the machine has not changed

The problem is that it is random. It also affects other browsers e.g. Firefox and Chrome.

The strange thing is that it works at startup, load all the pages without any problems. I tried to deal with these files from profile to replace in the original profile that proved to be unsuccessful. I think it's a matter of profile, but I don't know how to solve the problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • When I scroll a page all of a sudden the page jumps all the way back to the top

When I scroll a page all of a sudden the page jumps all the way back to the top

    Hey LouiseReed,

This could be a problem with your keyboard. For example if your House key was stuck or if you accidentally touch while scrolling the page would jump to the top of the screen. If possible, try to connect to another keyboard and test to see if the same thing happens.

Another possibility is that your mouse has a top button which is on the Home button. While scrolling if you accidentally hit this button, the page jump to the top.

If the above information doesn't help you find causing jumps, please provide more specific information such as: what do you use to scroll when this happens, the problem is easily reproducible whether the problem occurs randomly, etc.

    Hope that helps.

  • Why my cursor jump to another area of the page if I stop while typing?

Using windows xp pro, IE 8, while typing, if I pause or stop thinking, sometimes my cursor will move to another area on the page.  If I go back to typing, letters will start to appear when the cursor is, it is very random and only moves to the area on the page where I already typed, sometimes in the middle of a Word.

    Thank you annie...

    Hi AnnieSaub,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. the problem only happens when you use internet explorer 8?

    3. you use USB keyboard or computer laptop touchpad?

4 when was the last time it was working fine?

If the problem only occurs when you use Internet explorer 8 then try the steps below.

    Method 1

Check if Add-ons installed on the Internet explore is the origin of the problem. I suggest that you try to open Internet explorer without modules and check if the problem persists.

    (a) click the Start button, click all programs, and click Accessories

    (b) click System Tools, click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

How the modules of the browser affect my computer?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/how-do-browser-add-ons-affect-my-computer

Note: Above article is also applicable to the Windows XP operating systems.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then try to reset the internet settings explore by default and check.

For more information please visit the link below.

How to reset Internet Explorer settings

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/923737

Important: Reset Internet explore its default configuration. This step will disable also any add-ons, plug-ins or toolbars that are installed. Although this solution is fast, it also means that, if you want to use one of these modules in the future, they must be reinstalled.
