The process of creating repetitive form

Hello! I am a complete and total newbie here, so bear with me:

My general procedure to day by day with the creation of form must take the .wpd (WordPerfect documents) files and publish them in .pdf where I then use the form wizard to turn them into fillable forms. With these WordPerfect documents, I put a lot of underscores in the areas where I want that there is possibly a textbox control. When I'm done preparing my WordPerfect document I click the button "Publish to PDF" and that converts to PDF. Then in Adobe Acrobat format, I run the form wizard and that I guess that makes an OK, but certainly not perfect job. I still need to rename most of the text boxes and change their corresponding ToolTips. It takes a lot of time. When I am in fact I save the PDF and everything's fine.

The problem arises when I need to change the original WordPerfect document once again, as I need to add a paragraph or a page of additional text. I then go and repeat the wizard for creating forms together and change all areas of text exactly the same way and it is just as tedious as it was the first time. And what happens in the future if I need to change the WordPerfect document once again? And again a few days later? Is it possible to make this process of creating repetitive shape faster and easier? Are there things I can do in WordPerfect that helps the form creation wizard (for example, can I explicitly set ToolTip textbox created subsequently to read 'Address')? If not WordPerfect, is there any other word processing applications that can do this? Help!

    Yes, it will certainly work as you want with check boxes. As mentioned, the key is to give them the same name, but different value of exports (for example, Yes, no). You set the value to export on the Options tab of the field properties dialog box.

    To reset a form in Acrobat 9, select "forms > clear form.

    If you don't need the database interaction you do not have to use the ADF BC for your reports calling.
    It would be simpler just to write a simple Java class that has a method that accepts parameters and call reports - then you can expose it as a data control and link to your JSF pages.

    Here's how you can create an instance in a process using the logic in the activity of the automatic method. This example uses the "Fuego.Lib.ProcessInstance.create ()" method below within a process:

    ProcessInstance is in the catalog inside Fuego.Lib.

    The processId parameter (the variable "idOfProcess" in the logic above) is the thing that I most often live with that. This is the text that you see when you process in the project right-click browser tab-> "Properties". Look at the value in the field 'Id' and not the field 'Name' (the name without a space). Prefix with "/" as presented here and if you have deployed this using a unit of Organization (UO) then prefix this chain also.

    The third parameter is almost always "BeginIn". Start of activities in a process can have several incoming argument mappings, the default value is "BeginIn". See your, double-click the process Begin activity and seek on behalf of mapping in the upper left corner of the dialog box.

    "argsIn" is the set of variables of incoming arguments you want to spent in the process. A common error is to type the names of the variables argument entering without the double quotes, as follows:

    Here is the correct syntax:

    In this example, the process has two argument variables. It doesn't matter if the incoming arguments are arguments of primitive type (e.g. String, Integer, Decimal...) or objects of BPM, it is always in the same way. In this example, there is an incoming string argument, called "someArgVarName" and an argument entering BPM object called "someBpmObject".

    I'm quite new in the world of the APEX and I'm having a problem I want to please appreciate any input on... I use APEX 5.0.

    I have a form page to insert (P2) to a new section in my table of queries (with PK of 'ID' column). The billing ID (P2_ID) page is hidden (not sure if that makes a difference)... I then have a process after submit type "Send E-mail" and I want to include information about the new entry in the email.

    Each substitution that I do, as & P2_Description, & P2_Requester. etc works fine, but the replacement of the ID (PK - & P2_ID) does any work. I presume it is because at that time, the recording has not intervened in the table, and the sequence/trigger has not generated the following value?

    How can I please pass this value to the process/electronic mail? I tried to use P3_ID (P3 being the form of update page) and it works, but it always sends the previous entry.

    I'm sure that it must be simple, but as I said I'm pretty new to APEX and could not understand how! Is it possible to have this identification number to pre-fill the next value in the table field, before the present? And what happens if someone else creates a new entry at the same time?

    your mail sending process should be after the insertion process.

    OK, I re-read your question. It's actually expected behavior. The user must manually send the email.

    If you want it to be a silent process, then you must either install a script on the local computer of the user who will do this, or use any email but something as a service web to which you directly submit the form data.

    You get only one or the other in this task you mention. If your process definition contains "Update UD_LDAP_USR" as a name for the task, it will still work to update any field. If you want tasks to run individually on a change, rename this task as "TEMP UD_LDAP_USR updated" so it does not fire.

    I have configured the SJSDS connector, it resources, etc. and can manually directly available iPlanet to a user of the IOM through the interface of the identity.

    I checked the box Auto Save form within iPlanet process user definition.

    They are also good questions, but I'll give you the details :-)

    (1) what does the box 'Auto Save form' useless? -

    NO, if you don't do this then your Provisioning will be blocked in the Validation System.

    (2) you can "Auto-save" the form of the Application Instance?
    According to Oracle either hide these attributes or delete these attributes, but there is no clean way to remove such things.

    Question for you:
    If you don't want automatic backup of your Instance of form then why did you create that.

    Workaround solution:
    If you don't want Application Instance and then create an Instance of the Application more without any form

    We have a Telco Application (in the form of 10g) which has about 200 forms that are called from the main menu. Off than 200 forms on * 25 * are forms of type 'upload file' (see below).

    As you can see, it's small size. The feature is:
    *(a.) Select a text file (which includes tabular data) of the client computer.
    When the file is selected, it is also copied to a directory on the DB server machine. The file name displays the full path of the file in the client computer.
    * (b) * when the user press the load button, form calls a stored procedure that is packed. We create an EXTERNAL table mapped to the file in the directory db and read the contents of a temporary table in the comic book.
    * (c) * when the user press the Process button, the temporary table is read and our Telco tables are updated using these data.
    * (d) * you can view the records of error and the correct records discovered during treatment, with the option to view the file . This will display 2 Oracle reports.
    * (e) * you can delete the contents of the temporary table by using the option delete temporary .

    This story goes like this: our application is in the form of 10g. Now, we want to update this application Forms 11 g value. We met one of the problems was the FileUploader bean that we use in the forms above. This does not work in 11g. Solution has been found using WebUtil. Now, we must change all the 25 forms (obviously).


    Now here's the really important part: our managers feel that in the future also we may have to move to these 25 forms (due to problems/upgrades future with WebUtil and so on) and they want us to create a form for 25 forms. For example, in a form.

    (a.) we have a list box at the top where chooses to uses which upload function he wants.
    (b.), the file is selected (and then transferred to the DB directory).
    (c.) now when users click on the load button to execute the charge process packed for the selected workload file option.
    (d) when he pressed the Process button we need to run the program for the selected file download function unit.
    (e) when the user presses the button view the file, it should display the correct records and invalid records (found after treatment) 2 speed. The reports differ from a function to a function.
    (f) it can delete the records in the temporary table by using the Delete Temp button.

    Is it good idea? My first study tells me that it isn't a good idea since we have a form with too many features. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this approach and what is the best solution?

    The code is not DUPLICATED. The code to load and process is completely different from form to form.

    Looks like the old method of copy-paste-adapt.
    But it surely is something all forms have in common, no? Even if the code is not duplicated the process is (select the file, download it, treat it, call a report, delete temporary data). Look at what needs to be done in general, create an API on that and let your forms to use this API. Ways to form stuff can be done via the user triggers, procedures referenced/copied, etc.. If I were you I would go back, look at the code and see how I can do an API.
