The research of the history of my computer

Hi, I'm looking for history on my computer from October or November 2009 but when I go to the historic view, it won't let me back 2 weks how to access what I was doing on the computer in these months, if there is any way to do it how can I at least look at the cookies.   I know that nothing is permantly removed on your computer and that there must be a way for this look.  Thx for any help
