  Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

  You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Then perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Firefox Options (Preferences on Mac or Linux) as follows:
     • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

     • In 28.0 Firefox and earlier versions, click on the Firefox orange upper-left button, then select the 'Options' button or, if there is no button up Firefox, go to tools > Options.

  3. You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  4. Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  Hi, this is happened since I reinstalled the operating system with an OEM disc, removing all the hp stuff. I got a new OEM drive that comes from hp (I think... well hp stuff works now) but the scan button does not always work. The old record was kind broken.

  I don't mind, but it will be useful, if it could be repaired. Don't want to do something big, would rather just not fix that to do something does not.

  Note: Scanning works, but I have to look somewhere else (e.g. opening scan in the Panel)

  The complete software is required for the scan button to work, it is not a feature of the base software.

  Firefox 4 and newer versions, go, Stop and reload buttons are combined into a single button at the right end of the toolbar URL or address. The button changes depending on the type of activity:

  • green arrow GB when you type in the address bar
  • Red Stop ("X") button while the page is loading
  • Reload (circular arrow) to gray when the page is finished loading.

  Separate buttons are possible (nadia: carefully read the step 3 "ball" below):

  1. Open the Customize the toolbar by clicking the Firefox button > Option > toolbars OR by clicking View > toolbars > customize if using the menu OR bar right click in an empty space on a toolbar and select Customize
  2. While customizing the window is open, Stop and reload buttons will show separate from the address bar and the search bar

• My START button does not appear... Help, please!

  When I boot my START button and botton bar does not appear.  I can only active programs on my desktop. No error didn't occur during the starting and stopping of the system clean.

  There's probably a little Ribbon blue at the bottem, correct?  It's probably because you unlocked the taskbar and moved down.  If you place your mouse over the wick and pull upward, the taskbar will go up.  Or, you may have hidden auto bar, so hovering over the taskbar can bring it.  You can still access everything on your computer with a command prompt (type "cmd" in run) or run, dialog box which is accessible with the Windows key + r, if you didn't know.  Oh, and the Windows key is the Start button on your keyboard.  If you type explore in the run dialogue box, you will see something familiar.

  I'm working on my first project DPS for iPad (s). I had a lot of experience flash in the past, and I love the edge workflow host. I have created an OAM and placed in Indesign in "folio" its own (cover - page 1). I had planned to simply place a button of hyperlink InDesign on top of the OAM in the InDesign document and publish it. When I download and open the file on the iPad using the Adobe Content Viewer, the button for the url does not appear (does not work on the local drive either).

  Is it not possible to place other items of overlay on top edge animate the files? Do I need to include the button in the edge animate MCO?

  I also saw on another post where someone is in trouble with a white FLASH using AutoPlay... I have that too, but I also see a rough irregular version of the poster image for a fraction of a second between the loading phase and the main stage during the INITIAL reading. Any input on how to fix this too would be greatly appreciated.

  You are right in that you can't place items created in InDesign to superimpose your animated content. This is because the use of InDesign/DPS Animate content as overlays in web - overlays in the most literal sense, in that it overlays all your document so that it will always be the top layer.
