The search function will find the content of the banner?
I see that the search only works with items and NO banners and collections. It will be something that will be added to collections or banners.
(1) is currently only to objects.
(2) Yes, at one time given, it can be extended, but there is no time horizon clear for when and if it will happen.

Search function does not work in a document, all the ideas of solution?
Nice day
I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2015 Release Version 2015.008.20082 l. Within the program I asked for updates, and he says that it is current.
The "Search/search" function does not work even when I clearly see the word I'm looking. Any ideas?
Thank you
Meredith
Hi Meredith,
Please confirm if you are using Acrobat or Reader?
Search function will not work if it is a pdf document scanned in image format, you must apply OCR on this file by using Acrobat to be able to search for text in the document.
Kind regards

I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction.
I want that my visitors of site Web of Muse to search a text list to find a specific hyperlink.
Simple (I hope) - entered into a text box returns the appropriate URL:URL text
dog - http://animal.com
-tuna http://fish.com
cat - http://animal.com
lion - http://animal.com
cod - http://fish.com
I can't find a way to make this muse in.
I can't find a widget to do
Thank you
Nick
There is nothing simple in this regard. Outside a backend server dynamic with a database, these possibilities of 'research' should be rigged using form elements and those who will be hardcoded or powered by JavaScript and the script and the list of terms of potential research would be inflated because it is like a gigazillion possible combinations and the things that can go wrong that must be supported. Personally, I find the odd notion - if a site that is dirty and has no intuitive navigation, a search function will do nothing. I simply would just fire away. So for what it's worth, you have a different problem that just finding how to implement a search feature...

Find seems to have changed in Firefox. Before, when making a (CTRL + F) to find, research was not specific or non-specific to the caps CAPS. "In other words, if I typed in"firefox"(without ceiling), it will find the words"firefox,"Firefox", or "FIREFOX", regardless of capitalization. Now, however, the function finds will only match exact same capitalization. Totally, this undermines the usefulness of the service and is a major concern. Please fix.
This has happened
A few times a week
== I noticed in during the two or two weeks.
Make sure that the "match case" box in the find (Ctrl + F) bar is not activated.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of your modules is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).
See the extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems and troubleshooting questions with plugins like Flash or Java to solve common Firefox problems -
CTRL F (search) opens but won't find any content on the active Web page.
I often use the search function (CTRL F) on the Web pages of content search. Since the upgrade to version 31.0 it no longer works. It opens but you won't find anything.
Make sure that 'Option match case"on the search bar is not a tick.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

On Windows XP, there is a search function to search for a string in any kind of files on your computer. You are looking for a specific name was easy, if you fogort what kind of file, this name occurred in or what it was named.
On Windows 7 it only allows searching for a name of a file. How to search for strings in file names? 29/12/12 Paul Figueroa
Oh, what you want is the content property.
content: ~ = Figueroa
[Update: apparently special search symbols such as ~ = do not work with the content when property indexed research places, but work during the search in unindexed locations.]
I should mention that Windows 7 Search is not case sensitive, so it makes no difference to try to find upper or lower case letters. In addition, Windows 7 Search is not able to search the contents of files that have no file extension. There is also a weird question having to watch in Indexing Options to determine which file extensions are defined for content, research, where you have a type of unusual file that is not defined for the content of the search.

How do you know php? There are exif function that can read EXIF headers on your images. You can use it in conjunction with the functions of file system scanning of the images on your web server. If you have thousands of images, you want to index the results in a database rather than search the real-time file system.

using the function search is not finding the words I know are in my document. Why?
using the function search is not finding the words I know are in my document. Why?
The fact that you see a Word does not mean that it is 'real' text. You can select the word? If so, copy and paste in another application (such as Notepad). He always look the same? If the answer to each question is, you also cannot find it by using a search.

Windows search fails to find the files in the Documents folder
Original title: Windows 7 search finds no files, even though all the settings have been verified and the search index has been rebuilt
I recently bought a new Dell laptop Studio 1558 with Windows 7 Home Premium and moved through several hundred documents from my old PC to the new folder 'My Documents'.
As many others have found, Windows Search has been completely useless. She seems to have no problem finding files in the music folder or image, but anything in the document library is invisible to the it - even if I get in a subfolder small for a file name I see just in front of me, Windows Search will announce that "no element not corresponding to your search.
I took a number of steps so far to fix the problem, which none have worked:
1. I checked which locations are indexed for search and ensured that the document library is among them (as well as all of my C drive).
2. I checked that appropriate file extensions (.doc .docx .pdf, etc.) are all selected from the "File Types" list in indexing options (although I noticed that 'Description of filter' for .pdf bed "Registered IFilert is not found" - not this problem with Word documents).
3. I have deleted and rebuilt the search index.
4. I ran the troubleshooting Windows 7 Search tool, which reports that it cannot find any problems.
5. I have read that some problems with Windows 7 search can be solved by changing a registry key (http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-fix-windows-7-search-problems/) but when I navigate to the folder in my registry, only following three keys are here (not the one mentioned in the difficulty):
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderTypes\ {0B2BAAEB-0042-4DCA-AA4D-3EE8648D03E5}
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderTypes\ {36011842-DCCC-40FE-AA3D-6177EA401788}
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderTypes\ {59BD6DD1-5CEC-4D7E-9AD2-ECC64154418D}
A couple of things, I said - if I create a new word document and save it, Windows Search seems to immediately get back on it and is able to find. I also noticed that at first when I opened one of the word documents that have been transferred over the old PC and then closed it again, Windows Search picked up on it and could find it. So I went to try to open and close then all of my documents (an arduous task...), but the subject to halfway through Windows Search has ceased to be able to find them.
All Word documents using Microsoft Word 2007 in .doc or .docx format, although the problem also applies to Excel, PDF and image files, so I don't think that the problem is with the word itself.
I have tried everything I can think so far, including all the solutions, I could see suggested in previous discussions. I really need the search function working to effectively use my laptop so that any help would be welcome!
Thank you, Jack
Santosh thanks, I checked the permissions for the appropriate files and SYSTEM was present, which doesn't seem to be the problem. However, I found a solution that might work for other people are having the same problem.
I noticed that if I changed the location of the files, Windows search suddenly seems to become aware that they existed and then indexed and followed them correctly - even if they were subsequently moved back to the original location. I just created a temporary folder outside my library of documents and then each subfolder in the folder my documents him and then come back, one by one. It was a bit laborious but the problem solved - I know not why it worked, but all the old files are now indexed and appear correctly when you use Windows Search, and it seems not to have any problems, follow-up of the newly created files.
Cheers, Jack

Search does not find text in I know there in the files.
Search for Windows 7 is so bad that I have to use another tool to find the files I want. I tried to change the indexing options "changing how windows search" to add other extensions but it still can't find them.
I'll try to find some text in these types of files
. JSF
. JSFF
. JSPX
. BPEL
.bin
.exeHow can I force windows to search for all types of files regardless of their extension, even if the directory is not indexed. I currently have to use a utility called A43 file management and it works very well and can find the files in less time that windows search and can't find them.
Hello
When you add extensions (in Indexing Options > Advanced button > File Types tab), be sure to click the option at the bottom for "properties of the index and content of the folder. Then Folder Options in the Search tab, click "always search file names and contents" (the 2nd option down). This will force to search in the content even if the folder is not indexed. So in sites indexed, it will be instant, but in places not indexed, it will look like XP did.ATTENTION: Many people make this mistake. do not add all of your computer to your index, thinking it will make each quick search: it will simply blow the database. Not everything can be important. Think of it like this: If your boss has sent every email as "priority", by definition, it would be useless. -
Settings for the search function?
A user in the field examines the search function in CHM I provided with our software. The CHM is created with RH8.
1. is there a setting that will cause the returned page open at the first occurrence of the word/phrase search on?
We maintain successive years of release notes in one of the CHMS, so a search may return many, many pages and these pages can be quite long. When the term/phrase does not occur until the middle of the page, it would be very useful for the page to open right to this place.
2. is there a setting that prevents "Ctl + F" the opening of a find dialog box? It was my suggestion to the user as a workaround to #1. It works perfectly for me, but not at all for him - the search box simply did not open. It is possible that something unique to software program media CHM, but it could have been a computer setting? Is there a setting that will cause the returned page open at the first occurrence of the word/phrase search on?
Not that I've never heard of.
Is there a setting that prevents "Ctl + F' to open a find dialog box?
Why do you want to turn off Ctrl F, surely that's what the user wants to find the word in the topic?

Please tell me exactly how to remove the AVG search function
Please tell me exactly how to remove the AVG search function
edited by a moderator for clarity
You need not repeat dozens of times or use profanity to get help.
(1) disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on this tab. Don't know what it does? When in doubt, turn off:
Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category
Use the links above a disabled extension to restart Firefox if some seem to.
(2) restore your Google search engine:
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/SearchReset/
(3) check a user.js file (before the release of Firefox, otherwise the parameters in this file can cancel your cleaning) as described in this article: How to fix preferences that will not save.
(4) If AVG search took over your page to the new tab (Ctrl + t), which changes as follows:
(A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
(B) in the filter box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered
(C) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter the desired value for your favorite page:
thumbnails (i) (default) Page = > subject: newtab
(ii) blank tab = > subject: empty
Firefox homepage integrated (iii) = > topic: welcome
(iv) any other page = > full URL of the page
IMPORTANT: If you have AVG software in your Windows Control Panel, you need to remove it.
