• Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium install error

  I just bought a new laptop to replace my old. Both work with Windows 7. For these last two days I tried in vain to install Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium on my new laptop. I had no problem installing the same on my old laptop.

  Perhaps you did not understand what I just said. If you are using an older version of the database upgrade, the person who provided this version you must transfer the licnesing not only this version, but all versions before and after it in the chain of upgrade they own, as well as the media. You can legally use an old drive to work, unless they transfer you license.

  I have Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium of "" for Mac.  It was bought and downloaded ~ Nov 2010.  However, it seems that I never downloaded Adobe Acrobat, which looks like it is on a separate disk.  Long story... but am only to start using this software now after 2 years!  In any case, I wonder if I can download this drive safely at this point?  Also, I see that there are a number of updates that I should install, so I was wondering if I should hold off on those until after you download Acrobat?  I got a serial number for installation of other Adobe included in Creative Suite 5 software.
