The use of XMLElement request in PIF Oracle 11g

Hi all

The version using BEEP is Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.6.0

The following query works fine when run in the database. But when its used in Oracle BEEP sound not to go look up records.

Please let me know how to extract the recodes in PIF using XMLElement.

create table shop (id varchar2 (10));

insert into store values ('12345');

SELECT XMLElement ("employee",

XMLAttributes ('http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema' AS )

"xmlns: xsi"

                                ' http://www.Oracle.com/employee.xsd ' AS

("xsi: noNamespaceSchemaLocation ').

XMLForest (id)) AS 'RESULT '.

STORE

Output expected in Oracle BEEP

< DATASOURCE >

< DS_LIST >

" < employee xmlns: xsi =" http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema "xsi: noNamespaceSchemaLocation = ' http://www.Oracle.com/employee.xsd "> "

< ID > 12345 / < ID >

< / employee >

< / DS_LIST >

< / DATASOURCE >

But now its giving output as below

< DATASOURCE >

< DS_LIST >

< RESULT / >

< / DS_LIST >

< / DATASOURCE >

Please let me know how to achieve this.

Thank you

Watch XMLSerialize

It gives you some ideas

as

SELECT XMLSerialize (document XMLElement ("employee",

XMLAttributes ("http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" AS "xmlns: xsi",)

( http://www.oracle.com/Employee.xsd' AS "xsi: noNamespaceSchemaLocation ').

XMLForest (id)) as CLOB

) AS THE 'RESULT '.

STORE

gives for non-standard SQL

"' xsi: noNamespaceSchemaLocation http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" = "http://www.oracle.com/Employee.xsd" >. "

    1. What is the fastest way and to do this, if there is one?
    2. all the Documentation on the migration steps?
    3. do we have to use any tools 3rd part for this?
4 can we reach the migration of data with sql loader, if so is it the way suggested to do this, and is there a documentation on that?

I tried developer sql to do the migration, but it doesn't go well and finally found that is not the way to migrate a database with peoplesoft, here is the link environment to explain more about what I've done with sql developer.

If there are any other necessary information, link below has almost all of the information.

    (1) build an Oracle system demo patched for the same level of output than the current system of production.
    (2) launch the application designer and compare the production system for the demonstration for you system can capture changes.
    (3) load a custom table with the tables listed in the MVPRDEXP. EXP in the production system. Run a script to create a script to export for all PSRECDEFN where the RECTYPE is 0. This identifies all application data tables. You may want to dms export large tables in parallel.
    (4) DMS import the exported data in the Oracle instance.
    (5) re - apply changes.

  • Reg: Oracle 11g XE for Webcenter 11.1.1.6

    Dear Experts,

I intend to install Oracle Webcenter 11.1.1.6 on my laptop that runs on a 4Gigs RAM. The pre-reqs guides and install say Oracle 11g 11.2.0.1 DB version, which would be quite heavy for my machine.
As I need this installer only for learning purposes and practice, can you please suggest me if the version of Oracle 11 g XE (one light) would be enough?

    Thank you
    Srikanth.

for your learning needs, simply go ahead with your system and Oracle XE 11g db configuration.

You must consider that, before the UCR utility market, you must change the number of running processes and process the cursor to 500 and restart the Service of DB Oracle.

change the system of setting process is 500 scope = spfile;.

    ALTER system set process_cursor = 500;

    and restart the db.

Good luck for your learning! Enjoy learning Webcenter!

    Kind regards
    Hoque

  • What is the best practice?  Use YES or clone of binary oracle from a server used as a build server?

I joined a new company, and the oracle DBA resident ordered a Linux server as the build server and has installed a 11g (11.2.0.4.0) and a set of 12 c (12.2.0) binaries on it.

I was tasked to document this cloning method for new installations of Linux binaries.

Right now, I wonder why not just download the zip file for appropriate operating system files, copy them to the new target server, start a Windows X, run YES and then patch to the newer PSU after...

Instead, I informed by the holder oracle DBA that the binary oracle cloning and make the config. changes, create directories, setting permissions and scp'ing things, change the oraInventory, oraInst.loc, oratab, etc... is the best way to go.

I am not convinced.  I've never worked in a company that has had the luxury of $$ to pay licenses core processors to have an installation of the oracle binary on a server only to be used for the installation of oracle on new target servers.

Oh, and in addition, the use of dbca is discouraged so I'm rather to clone an existing dB from another server...

Views of the benefits and drawbacks of this approach vs. YES and dbca gui tools are highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance...

I am using oracle 11g express edition, how I can change the service name and the port number?

What do you mean by "port number"? HTTP port (usually 8080), or listening port (normally 1521)?

To change the name of the service, you can use (as a DBA or SYSDBA)

    SQL > alter system set service_name = '';

  • What is the use of GSD in Oracle 10 g RAC...?

    Hi Renon,

If the DSG is not used in the new versions (only for purposes of backward comparison). We leave this resource of CRS. What is the impact of this if we drop this resource.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

GSD IS USED ONLY IF THE DATABASE 9I RAC IS PRESENT

The function of GSD (10g and more) is to manage applications for 9i RAC customer management and therefore when there is no present 9i database, does nothing for GSD to do.

Accordingly, there is no impact on a CCR cluster if GSD is currently offline and 9i is not used.

If gsd fails to start due to reasons whetever then the best thing is to work with Oracle support to analyze and resolve the problem. In the meantime, gsd can be temporarily disabled.

11.2 GSD is disabled by default and the service is displayed as target: status offline: offline.

  • What is the use of the network user and 4 asm disks in oracle rac 11 g 2?

    Friends,

    Separate server DNS:
    bones of DNS: OEL 5.7

    RAC1
    OS: OEL 5.7 64bits
    DB: 11.2.0.3 64-bit

    Rac2
    OS: OEL 5.7 64bits
    DB: 11.2.0.3 64-bit

4 disks are shared between rac1 and rac2... and I configured using the oracleasm successfully...
above all 3 nodes are in virtual box 4.1.1.8

I'm installing oracle 11 g 2 cars in the configuration node above the 2.

I'm partially by following this link http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g/oracle-db-11gr2-rac-installation-on-oracle-linux-6-using-virtualbox.php
    up to

    runcluvfy.sh stage pre - crsinst - n rac1, rac2-verbose

is success... now I got a question... What is the use of the network user?
because after checking above... it installs through the user oracle... of the complete notes he has no use for the user to this network...
can someone tell me the use of the network user?

of course I ask only this person who wrote this installation... to get a quick answer, I ask you here...
I hope that someone will clarify my doubt to the success of this installation in a few hours...

I have already created users and groups below... in each node

    Node1
    [root@rac1 ~]# id oracle
    uid=200(oracle) gid=500(oinstall) groups=500(oinstall),505(dba),502(asmdba),504(oper)
    [root@rac1 ~]# id grid
    uid=201(grid) gid=500(oinstall) groups=500(oinstall),501(asmadmin),502(asmdba),503(asmoper)
    [root@rac1 ~]#
    [root@rac2 ~]# id oracle
    uid=200(oracle) gid=500(oinstall) groups=500(oinstall),505(dba),502(asmdba),504(oper)
    [root@rac2 ~]# id grid
    uid=201(grid) gid=500(oinstall) groups=500(oinstall),501(asmadmin),502(asmdba),503(asmoper)
    [root@rac2 ~]#
and on the shared drive... He created 4 disks... I saw in the paper... 3 is normal and 5 for the top... but 4?

    Thank you and best regards,

    OraDB wrote:

So how about storage shared... it's 4 disc are necessary for normal redundancy? or 3 is sufficient according to the documentation.

    Thank you

Before you answer, you must reflect on what is to say NORMAL redundancy? As long as you can keep your total drive less than the size of a full disk, you'll be fine... If it becomes higher than that and you have a failure, you now will have a major problem trying to recover a defective unit. The documentation is for a minimum configuration, however, you generally have to be smarter than the documentation. You must configure really redundant N + 1. Whatever size you need, configure always a plus. So, if you need the space of 2 devices, set up 3. If you need the space of 3, Setup 4. And if you start using the appliance + 1, add another. Always keep N + 1.

In what concerns the grid + oracle user in most of the stores of this level of "termination" is total nonsense. Unless you have a DBA who makes GI and a DBA who data bases etc... It's a moot point. I'd say it's a complete waste of time and energy in all cases. I have it configured with grid + oracle user and I configured with just the oracle user. The multi-user method can sometimes become confused when you try to find something like the other user. YMMV.

  • Connection request Adobe appears random, permanently prevents the use of PAC deployed apps.

We used the CCP in order to properly install the suite creative cloud over our 10.8.4 build image this year for our labs.  When it is deployed with Studio to deploy, on average 7 out of 10 computers work.  Other rare, when you attempt to launch any product Adobe (doesn't matter which) Adobe Application Manager will attempt to launch and the app will disappear from the dock.

On all the following launches of all the apps on this machine, the user is invited to an Adobe ID login page saying that our trial version will expire in 7 days.  Even if you do login, it will continue to the login prompt at each time, with the app never actually launch.  This seems to happen across all users on the computer.

The only solution I've seen is to recreate the image.  Even if it is semi failure.  All images are deployed through the same material so far, so I'm not sure that it's a hardware problem.

Many remember all the questions we had with JOHN.  Not happy.  I tried now with what happens when it fails with fseventer, but nothing helped.

As the fall semester is almost, I could certainly use some advice to what to do.

Thanks Karl that responded to the questionnaire.

Don't want to divert your LabOps son.  But I'll post my PDapp.log to see what can see Karl.

My PDapp.log found in C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp.  Imaging scenario, it's just that you have described.  We used Adobe CC package manager and has been a new installation of a suite of Adobe applications for our lab.  Simply run the setup.exe which has installed all the software. (After hearing, Dreamweaver, edge, effects, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, first)  Separately installed Acrobat Pro XI and was installed in first.

Regarding the "Creative Desktop Application Cloud" being deleted - don't know what it is.  Given that I created packages myself, I guess it's one of the options when creating packages?

Cut and pasted below.  It was after the launch of Adobe Photoshop CC (x 64).

  • Creation of data Mart: OWB, SSIS or the use of Oracle?

I'm working on creating a data mart as a new application for my work. I am a developer pl/sql, but I have no experience in DW. I am looking at what technology to implement this. Each instance of the project for which I work is quite complicated to deploy. Therefore, the easiest way.

Could someone advise me on the use of Oracle Warehouse Builder? be useful to use it to create a simple data mart?

Could I have all of the features needed in a mini - data warehouse by simply using jobs of oracle for the planning of the ETL process created in pl/sql (bulk collect) without using another tool? Is this possible? We do not want to use SSIS.

The DB is 10g EE R10.2.0.1.0, but we could move to 11g as needed

Help with that I will be grateful.
    Concerning

  • Advice on the use of the oracle.apps.aia.core.eh.i18n.EHCorrectiveActionRB

    Hello

I'm trying to implement the AIA error handling and reading that AIA provides xpath functions to retrieve the error code messages and corrective action messages. the documentation says that you must use the oracle.apps.aia.core.eh.i18n.EHCorrectiveActionRB listresourcebundle class to do this.

    My questions are:

    1. this oracle.apps.aia.core.eh.i18n.EHCorrectiveActionRB of the class already exists within the AIA in order to add the new error etc... you just need to change?
    2. If the above is true then where can I find this class to add new messages?
3 this Listresource bundle must be implemented in all composite samples of AIA? If yes how can I do this?
    3. does anyone have examples that I can use to implement the management of errors?
    4. all other general advice on the use of this list of resources group

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Kind regards.
    Adrian

    1. this oracle.apps.aia.core.eh.i18n.EHCorrectiveActionRB of the class already exists within the AIA in order to add the new error etc... you just need to change?
Yes, they exist oob with FP. In 10g, it will be under system/classes/bpel file.
    2. If the above is true then where can I find this class to add new messages?
In 10g, it will be under system/classes/bpel file. 11 g, it will be under /soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/classes folder.
3 this Listresource bundle must be implemented in all composite samples of AIA? If yes how can I do this?
No, the bundle is a single resource, and you can add your messages in the same class.
    3. does anyone have examples that I can use to implement the management of errors?
Please see available in OTN download AIADemo. All composite materials have the error handling.
    4. all other general advice on the use of this list of resources group
11 g class of resource bundles is replaced by a file of text properties.

  • How to use the JKS-based Keystore in Oracle 11g SOA

I'm doing FTPS on remote server of third party (with UNIX operating system) using SOA 11 g adapter FTP. I installed and configured vsftpd and generated vsftpd.pem file on the remote server certificate.
Follow the steps mentioned in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_file.htm#CIABDGCF

In one step "Adjusting upward the FTP Oracle adapter" walletLocation is necessary, then I went through the steps mentioned in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/core.1111/e10105/wallets.htm#CHDGIJDC

(Tried using both 1) JKS Keystore Management 2) portfolio management

Impossible to find two of them in the Oracle 11g SOA em but the steps do not match.

Can someone tell me how to use JKS Keystore or portfolio management?
