  • The coldfusion.sql.QueryTable value cannot be converted to a number

    Hello

    I have two queries, in two different functions, who both return the SUM of a column based on the values of the arguments

    I need to subtract query from a query of 1 2.

    The arguments for the two motions are passed using the CreateObject function

    < cfset qry1 = createObject ("component", "components.adminobjects"). Func1(#argument1#,#argument2#) >

    < cfset qry2 = createObject ("component", "components.adminobjects"). Func1(#argument1#,#argument2#) >

    Queries executed accordingly and returns the results accordingly.

    The problem occurs when I try to calculate by subtracting the 2nd request form 1.

    So, to get the results I need, that's what I do:

    < cfset results = ' #qry1.sum # '-' #qry1.sum2 # ' >

    < cfoutput > #results # < / cfoutput >

    When I do this, it is said:

    The coldfusion.sql.QueryTable value cannot be converted to a number

    I don't understand, it is because when I exit #qry1.sum # or #qry1.sum2 # I get the numbers right and they are numbers, but when I do some math on them, I get the error.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    I can't understand why this is not going to add. I have a MySQL database with the fields "port" and "copies" set have varchar.

    If not, or for others in your so first paragraph:

    You not compare function for anything so try to SEE
    convert the returned value "below" in this case true or false.

  • How to store the value in labview

    I write a VI and need set a reference point before I have my operation.

    Is there a way to hold the values for all 8 channels I am able in a constant number at the push of a button?

    If I had this, I might just have the VI subtract these core values on and get my reference.

    Thank you!

    Generally, you would hold the reference value in a knot of registry or feedback shift.

    Here's a simple example (LV 8.0)

  • Change the value of a field when the value of another field changes.

    I have a level of order form with a number of areas where the quantity (number) is typed in they are labeled qty1, 2 and so on.

    Some of the items on the order form attract additional fixed a load which is shown in a separate field call it addcharge.

    If qty1 has a number entered it attracts an additional cost and the addcharge field changes the value of zero to say 1

    If 2 has a number entered without extra charge applies

    If 3 is a number entered without supplement applies

    If qty4 has a number it attracts an additional cost and the addcharge field changes the value of zero to say 1 or if the previous qty1 has already changed the addcharge to 1 field, remains at 1.

    If qty5 has a number entered it attracts an additional cost and the addcharge field changes the value of zero to say 1 or if the previous qty1 and qty4 has already changed the addcharge to 1 field, it remains 1

    It seems to me that some "if else" enabling javascript is necessary in the sense of "If qty1 field is greater at 0 addcharge field is 1"and I guess the script must be placed in each field which attracts addcharge.»»»

    Can anyone help with the script please.

    I want to ouput as

    Thanks for your help.

    So, as far as the entrance has a comma, you want 3 characters: single quote, comma, and single quotation mark.

    In addition, you want to add single quotes at the beginning and end of the string.

    Here's a way to do this:

    SELECT "' | REPLACE (comp

    , ','

    , ''','''

    )

    || "' AS new_comp

    STR

    ;

    Remember, new_comp is always a single string that can contain commas and single quotes.  This is not the same as a list separated by commas of several channels, which each is placed in single quotes.

    In short... you can't.  The channels are channels, and SQL and PL languages dictate that the string literals are provided within single quotes.

    I don't see how trying to retrieve more than 200 records of employees in the select statement means that you must get rid of the quotes.

    One way:

    select a.*,substr(x,2,length(x)-2) from a

    "1234 MLK drive" 1234 MLK drive

    It is not very clear what you demand, so the only thing I can do is guess. You are looking for a method detach an attribute in its attribute value? So what of this:

    The correct syntax is

  • What is the equivalent of | operator using the Q-quote mechanism?

    Version: 11.2.0.3

    I started a thread on similar requirement last week. I didn't want to resurrect. So, I start a new thread.

    We have a stored procedure called generate_table_stats that meet the stats for tables with a few additional options.

    Usually, this procedure is performed as below

    generate_table_stats exec ('EMP_DTL', 'BASIC');

    We want to generate the exec above instructions dynamically for all tables.

    In the traditional method of quotations, we use the concatenation (|) operator to separate the column names whose values are retrieved dynamically from the table queried.

    Similarly, how can I get a column of values printed when you use the Q-quote mechanism?

    In my column in table_name attempt below must be retrieved from user_tables. But table_name and pipes that are treated as literal string (which is not surprising).

    What is the equivalent of | (concatenation operator) when you use the Q-quote mechanism?

    -Expected results

    generate_table_stats exec ('EMP_DTL', 'BASIC');

    generate_table_stats exec ('CUSTOMER_DTL', 'BASIC');

    Hello

    The concatenation operator. works the same with any string expression.

    x | There

    Returns a string that is the same as sting followed immediately the string x y, x is

    • a literal string with Q before the first single quote
    • a literal string without Q
    • a VARCHAR2 column
    • a function that returns a string, or
    • any string expression.

    The string can be everything above, too.

    If you concatenate strings of 3 or more, like this

    str1. str2. ... || Suro

    then each of the STRS can be any kind of expression, independent of others.

    If you want to concatenate strings of 3, the 1st and the 3rd being Q-literals and the 2nd being a column, you can do it like this:

    Select q' generate_table_stats #exec (#' | table_name)

    || q ' #, ' BASIC'); #'

    From user_tables;

    Each of literals has its own Q and her own pair of start and end markers (all the ' # s in the example above).

    Since the first string literal has no any single-quotation marks incorporated, it is unnecessary to use Q-rating, and it could be misleading; a person who bed the code might think the actaully string contains ' #'s.  I prefer wriite the query in the form

    Select ' generate_table_stats exec (' | table_name)

    || q ' #, ' BASIC'); #'

    From user_tables;

  • Is it possible I can auto correction of typing quotes to curly (quotes)? I NEVER want the typing quotes. ?

    In Word, I can auto fix typing quotes for the french quotes. Is it possible to do this in Thunderbird?

    I only have a single addon for automatic correction and it does not have punctuation and it doesn't have the ability to recognize a related pair of glyphs.

    I think the answer is 'no '.

    With some hesitation, I would say that if it's so important to you, then compose in Word and pasting it into Thunderbird. But to avoid the unholy mess of code property that would accompany a standard paste of development action in the form, I would say that using 'paste unformatted' and in all likelihood it would eliminate the curlies anyway.

    Well I dug on the web and found someone with the same problem, and they said that when they have disabled "McAfee VirusScan 8.5 Access Protection", this error has disappeared. If this applies to you, give it a whirl if you wish.

    Fix it myself to fix this problem yourself, follow these steps:

    5. Under hidden files and folders, click Show hidden folders and files.
    6. Clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box, and then click OK.
    7. Open the following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data\

    12. Click to select everyone in the list entered permissions and then click change.

    14. Click OK three times. If these steps do not resolve this issue, delete the Opa11.dat file or the Data.dat file in the following folder and then restart an Office 2003 program or an Office XP program:
