  I started a conversation with the support, they took control of my PC and that fixed it.  Was not fast, but they basically reset the PS preferences.  They made sure to back up all my custom templates, forms, actions, etc., before be reset and it worked.

  This is a known fault.  The problem is caused by missing values in properties such as AddedOn, AddedBy, which can occur when a version is copied with "Clearly changed properties" selected.

  It is a known bug, but to work around - mix version in a new empty version, which will fill the properties of "ChangedOn". You can then save this version and restore it.

  KKT thanks for your response.  Unfortunately, this error occurs on all Versions in our Test of DRM environment. Recently, we have copied on the Production of DRM scheme to the Test environment. So... not sure what causes this error.  Any other suggestions?

  Try to re-create the hosts file.

  Open Notepad as administrator (click right on the Notepad icon or shortcut and click Run as admin) and type the following information in it:

  127.0.0.1 localhost

  : 1 localhost

  The '1' in the '127.0.0.1' must be in the first column of the line and there must be at least one space between "127.0.0.1" and "localhost". In the second line, there must be at least one space between ": 1" and "localhost".

  Save the file with name "hosts" in the C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc folder.

  You seem to have a hard drive problem. Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type the system information in the search box above the Start button and press the ENTER key (alternative is select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information).   Since the last CC 2015 updated (and perhaps before that? I don't remember not.), I can print from Illustrator, InDesign, etc., but NOT from Photoshop. I tried to read through the forums, and it seems that Adobe blames the printer companies and vice versa. I made sure that I was with the latest printer drivers for Epson Stylus Pro 11880 and HP Color LaserJet MFP M476dn (0F594D), which were very good impression on Photoshop before. Now, when I open a file in PS, I can click on Print once. The above message appears in its own window bit: "there was an error in the opening of your printer. Print functions will be unavailable until you have selected a printer and reopened all documents". After that, the print... and the commands "Print" are both in gray. But I'VE chosen a printer.

  Please follow the steps below:

  • Quit and restart Photoshop
  • Open a file to print
  • Go to the file menu > hover your mouse over Print >, press and hold the space key

  This would reset the printing preferences for Photoshop and should open the print settings dialog box.

  You can try saving the PDF file on your desktop before trying to open it.
  See if that helps with corruption problems.

  Remove Folders.dbx. If you can get OE open, create a new book of identity and address.

  In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  The path to the message will be very similar to this:

  C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook Express

  With OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it.  Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

  Note these possible side effects:

  When you re - start OE, it will build a new index of all *.dbx files it can read and create a new Folders.dbx. However, understand that you will lose the mail directory structure and message rules will probably have to be edited.

  On a large scale of. A PDF file that we are trying to get through our virtual repository when the document is opened in Adobe Reader, v. 15.017.20053.63404, we receive this error:

  Why is this the only application .pdf Viewer which is not clear this error? I used Google Chrome, Foxit PDF and other programs and other applications opens the file very well.

  What should I do, that this is resolved on the side of the Adobe Reader?

  Try to disable the Safe_mode at startup, launch Adobe Reader, go to the Edit menu > then click on Preferences > click (improved) security and uncheck the box enable protected at Startup Mode > click OK.

  Please follow the steps below to reset the photoshop preferences.

  > Hold down Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

  Note: Using the hotkey, preference files for custom shortcuts, workspaces, and color settings will also reset to the default.

  If you are still facing the same issue, please uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers and check for the issue.

  Also, please mention what operating system are you using?

  I have a virtual layer to Adobe Flash player, with a point of entry to Internet Explorer. Apart from that, we used Thinreg to associate pdf files with a Thinapp copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 (using the allusers switch). We find that, while trying to open online pdf files, Acrobat Reader load then shows the error "there was an error opening this document. The file is not found. If we save the file and open it works very well.

  I am positive that it is a problem of isolation somewhere in the config layer of Acrobat Reader, but have not been able to track it down. It is probably that the Acorbat layer not looking outside of himself for the temporary internet folder that contains the pdf file that IE has cached?

  Everyone falls on something similar and has a solution?

  Try to set the modes of insulation for your temporary folders (%temp%, % internet cache) merged to your package of IE. In addition, in our environment, we put % internet merged cache%/contents.is5. Not sure if it makes a difference.
